Privacy-Preserving Healthcare and Medical Data Collaboration Service System Based on Blockchain and Federated Learning

As the volume of healthcare and medical data increases from diverse sources,real-world scenarios involving data sharing and collaboration have certain challenges,including the risk of privacy leakage,difficulty in data fusion,low reliability of data storage,low effectiveness of data sharing,*** guarantee the service quality of data collaboration,this paper presents a privacy-preserving Healthcare and Medical Data Collaboration Service System combining Blockchain with Federated Learning,termed *** system is composed of three layers:Data extraction and storage,data management,and data *** on healthcare and medical data,a healthcare and medical blockchain is constructed to realize data storage,transfer,processing,and access with security,real-time,reliability,and *** improved master node selection consensus mechanism is presented to detect and prevent dishonest behavior,ensuring the overall reliability and trustworthiness of the collaborative model training ***,healthcare and medical data collaboration services in real-world scenarios have been discussed and *** further validate the performance of FL-HMChain,a Convolutional Neural Network-based Federated Learning(FL-CNN-HMChain)model is investigated for medical image *** model achieves better performance compared to the baseline Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),having an average improvement of 4.7%on Area Under Curve(AUC)and 7%on Accuracy(ACC),***,the probability of privacy leakage can be effectively reduced by the blockchain-based parameter transfer mechanism in federated learning between local and global models.

Distributional characteristics of grain sizes of surface sediments in the Zhujiang River Estuary

Distributions of the parameters of sedimentary grain sizes and their correlations were studied to trace the sources of silts and their movement trends in the Zhujiang River Estuary based on the analyses of grain sizes from more than 1080 sedimentary samples. The distributions of the median diameter, public value, quartile deviation, and skewness of sediments were complex in the Zhuiiang River Estuary mainly because of the impact of the matter source regions, distances from the source regions, and hydrodynamic conditions, such as waves, tidal currents, and coastal currents. Analyses of the parameters of the grain sizes for the various types of sediments showed that the distributions of the surface sediments in the Zhujiang River Estuary were controlled by many factors. Their matter sources were mainly the sediments discharged from the runoffs and ebb tidal currents, and from the open sea. The sediments mainly moved by suspension movement. The silts formed a large area of sediments with suspended fine silts in the Zhujiang River Estuary by internal adjustment transportation in the area, and moved toward the western coast of the Zhujiang River Estuary under the effect of Coriolis forces and coastal currents.

A biobased flame retardant towards improvement of flame retardancy and mechanical property of ethylene vinyl acetate

A new biobased flame retardant(MHPA)with remarkable compatibility was synthesized via a facile and low-cost neutralization reaction of magnesium hydroxide(MH)and phytic acid(PA).By blending the prepared MHPA into ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA),the fire retardancy,smoke suppression and mechanical properties of the composites were significantly *** 50 wt%of MH was added into EVA matrix,the value of limiting oxygen index(LOI)reached 26.1%.Whereas,when 10 wt%MH in the EVA composites(with initial 50 wt%MH)was replaced by MHPA,the resulted EVA composites had a LOI value of 30.8%,indicating high efficiency of addition of MHPA to improve flame ***,the heat release rate(HRR)and total smoke production(TSP)of the EVA composites reduced by 54.4%and 27.6%,respectively,suggesting that incorporation of MHPA could effectively hinder rapid degradation of EVA composites during burning *** fire-retardant mechanism may reside in that the MHPA combined with MH can present the excellent carbonization and expansion *** study illustrates that the biobased MHPA has a broad application prospect to develop flame-retardant EVA composites.

Selective nickel-electrocatalyzed benzylic C-H oxygenation of functionalized alkyl arenes

Herein, a site-selective paired electrochemical C–H oxidation of functionalized alkyl arenes promoted by nickel catalyst is disclosed. A Ni(Ⅱ)-dioxygen species formed in situ efficiently enable the oxidation process under mild conditions with a broad substrate scope with excellent functional group compatibilities,such as free carboxylic acid, aldehyde, halogen(including aryl iodide), amide and amino acid. The use of the nickel catalyst in combination with water provides a safe, green and economical method for oxidation of a range of molecules varying in complexity and drug derivatives, demonstrating its potential application in organic synthesis and the pharmaceutical industry. Reaction outcomes and mechanistic studies revealed the key role of the in situ Ni(Ⅱ)-dioxygen species for the subsequent oxidation of C(sp^(3))–H bonds,and short-lived reactive intermediates(aryl radical cation) was rapidly captured by the combination of a bipolar ultramicroelectrode(BUME) with nano-electrospray ionization mass spectrometry.

A New Hybrid Machine Learning Model for Short-Term Climate Prediction by Performing Classification Prediction and Regression Prediction Simultaneously

Machine learning methods are effective tools for improving short-term climate ***,commonly used methods often carry out classification and regression prediction modeling separately and *** a single modeling approach may obtain inconsistent prediction results in classification and regression and thus may not meet the needs of practical applications *** address this issue,this study proposes a selective Naive Bayes ensemble model(SENB-EM)by introducing causal effect and voting strategy on Naive *** new model can not only screen effective predictors but also perform classification and regression prediction *** being applied to the area prediction of summer western North Pacific subtropical high(WNPSH)from 2008 to 2021,it is found that the accuracy classification score(a metric to assess the overall classification prediction accuracy)and the time correlation coefficient(TCC)of SENB-EM can reach 1.0 and 0.81,*** integrating the results of different models[including multiple linear regression ensemble model(MLR-EM),SENB-EM,and Chinese Multimodel Ensemble Prediction System(CMME)used by National Climate Center(NCC)]for 2017-2021,the TCC of the ensemble results of SENB-EM and CMME can reach 0.92(the highest result among them).This indicates that the prediction results of the summer WNPSH area provided by SENB-EM have a high reference value for the real-time *** is worth noting that,except for the numerical prediction results,the SENB-EM model can also give the range of numerical prediction intervals and predictions for anomalous degrees of the WNPSH area,thus providing more reference information for meteorological ***,as a new hybrid machine learning model,the SENB-EM has a good prediction ability;the approach of performing classification prediction and regression prediction simultaneously through integration is informative to short-term climate prediction.

An effective'salt in dimethyl sulfoxide/water'electrolyte enables high-voltage supercapacitor operated at-50℃

Compared with organic electrolytes,aqueous electrolytes exhibit significantly higher ionic conductivity and possess inherent safety features,showcasing unique advantages in ***,challenges remain for low-salt aqueous electrolytes operating at high voltage and low ***,we report a low-salt(0.87 m,m means mol kg^(-1))'salt in dimethyl sulfoxide/water'hybrid electrolyte with non-flammability via hybridizing aqueous electrolyte with an organic co-solvent of dimethyl sulfoxide(hydrogen bond acceptor).As a result,the 0.87 m hybrid electrolyte exhibits enhanced electrochemical stability,a freezing temperature below-50℃,and an outstanding ionic conductivity of 0.52mS cm~(-1)at-50℃.Dimethyl sulfoxide can anchor water molecules through intermolecular hydrogen bond interaction,effectively reinforcing the stability of water in the hybrid ***,the interaction between dimethyl sulfoxide and water molecules diminishes the involvement of water in the generation of ordered ice crystals,finally facilitating the low-temperature performance of the hybrid *** paired with the 0.87 m'salt in dimethyl sulfoxide/water'hybrid electrolyte,the symmetric supercapacitor presents a 2.0 V high operating voltage at 25℃,and can operate stably at-50℃.Importantly,the suppressed electrochemical reaction of water at-50℃further leads to the symmetric supercapacitor operated at a higher voltage of 2.6 *** modification strategy opens an effective avenue to develop low-salt electrolytes for high-voltage and low-temperature aqueous supercapacitors.

We study the properties of gravitational wave(GW)signals produced by first-order phase transitions during the inflation *** show that the power spectrum of a GW oscillates with its wave *** signal can be observed directly by future terrestrial and spatial GW detectors and through the B-mode spectrum in the *** oscillatory feature of the GW is generic for any approximately instantaneous sources occurring during inflation and is distinct from the GW from phase transitions after *** details of the GW spectrum contain information about the scale of the phase transition and the later evolution of the universe.

Simple construction of the α-MnO2@ZIF-8 nanomaterial with highly enhanced U(Ⅵ) adsorption performance and assessed removal mechanism

In this study, the one-dimensional nanomaterial α-MnO2@ZIF-8 was satisfactorily fabricated using a simple hydrothermal method by modifying ZIF-8 on α-MnO2nanowires for high-performance extraction of U(Ⅵ) out of water solution. The experimental data indicated that the adsorption of U(Ⅵ) on α-MnO2@ZIF-8 was intensely dependent on solution pH but not on ionic strength. The maximum adsorption of U(Ⅵ) on α-MnO2@ZIF-8 at pH= 5.0 and T = 298 K was 802.36 mg/g, substantially higher than the adsorption on α-MnO2(22.32 mg/g) or ZIF-8(551.31 mg/g) under the same conditions, indicating that the performance of the modified α-MnO2was greatly enhanced. Attaining adsorption equilibrium within 45 min, the analytical kinetic process of α-MnO2@ZIF-8 indicated that its adsorption on U(Ⅵ) was monolayer chemisorption. The adsorption experiments and XPS analyzed the possible adsorption mechanism of U(Ⅵ) in the reaction with α-MnO2@ZIF-8 during the adsorption process, namely intra-sphere surface complexation, chemisorption and electrostatic interaction. The simple preparation and high removal efficiency of α-MnO2@ZIF-8 indicated that this adsorbent had good prospects for application in wastewater.

Excellent magnetic softness-magnetization synergy and suppressed defect activation in soft magnetic amorphous alloys by magnetic field annealing

Fe-based amorphous alloys with high saturation magnetic flux density(B_(s))are increasingly attractive from both scientific and technological points of view,however,they usually suffer from the trade-off between magnetization and *** this work,we explore the soft magnetic properties(SMPs),magnetic and atomic structures,and defect activation during creep deformation of as-quenched and annealed Fe_(82.65-x)Co_(x)Si_(2)B_(14)Cu_(1.35)(x=0-20)amorphous alloys(AAs).Improved magnetic softness-magnetization synergy has been realized in all these alloys by field ***,superb SMPs with superhigh B_(s) of 1.86 T,low coercivity of 1.2 A/m and high effective permeability of 16300 are obtained in the Fe_(66.65)Co_(16)Si_(2)B_(14)Cu_(1.35) *** locally regularized arrangement of domains,homogenized structure with less structural/magnetic defects and suppressed crystal-like ordering by field annealing contribute synergistically to the superb ***,the relaxation time spectra obtained from creep deformation indicate less liquid-like and solid-like defects activated in the field-annealed AA,which is correlated with the structural homogenization and superb *** work provides new and comprehensive insight into the interplay among external field,heterogeneous structure,SMPs and defect activation of Fe-based AAs,and offers a promising pathway for softening amorphous alloys with high Bs.

Trends in high-risk rates and screening rates for the population-based cancer screening program on esophageal,stomach and liver cancer in China,2010-2016

Background:A population-based cancer screening program in rural China,targeting three types of cancer that are most prevalent in these areas,including esophageal,stomach,and liver cancer was awarded by the government in China since 2007.A two-step design with cancer risk assessment based on questionnaire interview and HBsAg test strip and subsequent clinical intervention for high-risk populations was adopted with free of charge at the local hospitals designated in the *** participate rate including high-risk rates and screening rates was important to find appropriate strategies to improve the overall awareness of the ***:Data from the cancer screening program between 2010 and 2016 were used to calculate higher rate(high-risk population/participants recruited)and screening rate(participants received screening/high-risk pop-ulation).Results:From 2010 to 2016,1,637,429 residents were recruited in the program and filled the questionnaires,350,646(21.4%)for esophagus cancer,273,715(16.7%)for stomach cancer and 1,013,068(61.9%)for liver can-cer.471,974 participants were assessed as high-risk population including 114,786(24.3%)high risk for esophagus cancer,161,809(34.3%)high risk for stomach cancer and 195,379(41.4%)high risk for liver cancer,respec-tively.249,185(52.8%)participants who were assessed as high risk received clinical *** were 64,710(26.0%)for esophagus cancer screening,71,365(28.6%)for stomach cancer screening and 113,110(45.4%)for liver cancer screening,***:Our findings will provide important references for designing effective population-based screening strategies to enhance the screening acceptance by health action plan in the future.
