A LiB3O5 optical parametric oscillator generating simultaneously two pairs of signals and idlers

Type I LiB3O5optical parametric oscillator pumped by 0.532μm laser were investigated. The phasematching retracing behavior was confirmed and two pairs of signal-idler wavelengths were generate simultaneously. By comparing the angle and temperature tuning curves some significant features were found and then illustrated based on the phase mismatch factor.

The reaction behaviors of the title complexes have been studied in thesystem of dinitrogen gas by means of in situ IR. It has been found that some activefragments created at some stage of the thermal decomposition process of the *** acetic acid both obtained from the ligand of the complexes and introducedfrom outside to convert to acetone by decarboxylation. Their optimum reaction temperatures are of 240~270℃ for [Fe2MnO(O2CCH3),(H2O)3], 290~320 C for [Fe3Q(O2CCH3)6(H2O)3], 300~330℃ for [Fe2CoO(O2CCH3),(H2O)3] and 320~ 350℃for [Fe2NiO(O2CCH3)6(H2O)3], indicating the lowering sequence of the activity of active species. At the same time it has been shown that this activity may come from thejoined contributions of both the coordinating capability of the hetero-metals in the complexes and their structural factors. On the basis of the TGA, DTA and EI-MS data,the composition of the active fragments has been tentatively inferred as [Fe2MnO(O2CCH3)3-2].

Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)O3-Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 (PIN-PMN-PT) solid solution piezo-crystals were grown by a top-seeded solution growth method. The dielectric, piezo- and ferro-electric properties were characterized. The dielectric permittivity exhibits that the Curie temperature TC is 200 oC and the rhombohedral-tetragonal phase transition temperature is 150oC. The longitudinal electromechanical coupling factor k33 reaches 85-93%, which shows a good thermal stability upon heating up to 200 oC. The piezoelectric coefficient (d33) was found to be 1260 pC/N at room temperature. At a bipolar electric field ± 12 kV/cm, perfect polarization and electric hysteresis loop was obtained, and the remnant polarization was about 27 μC/cm2 with a coercive field about 5.5 kV/cm.

Multiple-beams Mutually Pumped Phase Conjugation Generated by a Bridge Phase Conjugator in Photorefractive Ba1-x Srx TiO3 Crystal

A new method generating multiple beams mutually pumped phase conjugation (MMPPC) in a photorefractive Ba 1-x Sr x TiO 3 crystal is demonstrated, in which a pumping beam is incident upon a face of the crystal and two signal beams are introduced into +c face of the crystal with the almost same incident angle and position. The time evolution of the phase conjugations from signal beams and the dependence of phase conjugate reflectivities on the input beam intensity ratios are presented. Also, the amplitude coupled wave equations based on the model of two interaction reigns is derived. The results obtained by numerical calculation of the corresponding coupled wave equations show qualitative agreement with the experimental results.

Growth and Characterization of BaSnO3-PbTiO3 Piezo-Crystals

New solid solution ferroelectric crystals BaSnO3-PbTiO3 have been grown by a top seeded solution technique and characterized by means of X-ray diffraction, dielectric spectroscopy, piezoelectric constant and polarization and electric hysteresis loop. By X-ray diffraction, the crystals were crystallized in the pure perovskite phase with rhombohedral symmetry. The dielectric permittivity exhibits a diffuse maximum about 30000 at the temperature around 130 oC, which shifts towards higher temperature with increasing frequency, indicating typical relaxor behavior. The piezoelectric constant was measured to be 780 pC/N by a quasi-static d33 meter. At a bipolar electric field ± 20 kV/cm, perfect polarization and electric hysteresis loop was obtained, and the remnant polarization was about 15 μC/cm2 with a coercive field about 5 kV/cm.
