Broadband and perfect terahertz absorber based on multilayer metamaterial using cross-ring patterned structures is proposed and *** structure of the absorber is double absorption layers consisting of a chromium cross ring and eight isosceles right *** unique structure of the double absorbing layers excites the electric dipole multimode resonance,giving rise to high absorption ***,the influence of construal parameters on absorber behavior is also *** numerical results show that the absorption achieves over 90%ranging from 2.45 THz to 6.25 THz and 99%absorption in the range of 3.7—5.3 *** realization of broadband and perfect absorber is described using the impedance matching *** is obviously found that the absorber is insensitive to the high angle of incidence for both transverse electric(TE)and transverse magnetic(TM)*** with the former reports,this absorber has remarkable improved absorption efficiency and smaller *** terahertz absorber may be found applications in the fields of energy capture and thermal detection.

As a highly promising conductive polymer material,the synthesis method,structure regulation,and performance improvement of polyaniline(PANI)are hot research *** this work,the radiation-induced polymerization of aniline in HNO_(3)solution was successfully achieved at room temperature without the use of chemical *** the analysis of the radiation chemical reactions of inorganic acids and nitrate salt solutions,the characterization of the intermediate free radicals in the irradiated systems,and the influence of the pH of the solutions on the polymerization activity and product morphologies,the radiation-induced polymerization mechanism of aniline is discussed in detail and *** at a condition of[HNO_(3)]>[aniline],i.e.,pH<2.5,PANI can be successfully obtained underγ-ray *** polymerization begins with the oxidation of aniline cations to aniline cation radicals by·NO_(3)generated by radiolysis reactions,and undergoes repeated three steps of monomer free radical recombination,deprotonation,and oxidation reaction of·NO_(3),thus forming a PANI *** addition to the polymerization reaction,the aniline units are protonated and oxidized because of the strongly acidity and oxidation of the reaction system under γ-ray irradiation,which means that the molecular chain structure of the radiation-synthesized PANI can be regulated by pH,nitrate concentration,and irradiation ***-synthesized PANI has a moderate protonation and oxidation state,which can be used for the preparation of PANI supercapacitors with better electrochemical properties than those prepared by chemical oxidation under the same *** work presents a new radiation-synthesis method and polymerization mechanism of PANI,which not only expands the application of radiation technique in the field of polymer synthesis,but also provides a new idea for the structural regulation and electrochemical property optimization of PANI.

Objective: To examine the effectiveness of Chinese medicine(CM) Lianhua Qingwen Granule(LHQW) and Jingyin Gubiao Prescription(JYGB) in asymptomatic or mild patients with Omicron infection in the shelter hospital. Methods: This single-center retrospective cohort study was conducted in the largest shelter hospital in Shanghai, China, from April 10, 2022 to May 30, 2022. A total of 56,244 asymptomatic and mild Omicron cases were included and divided into 4 groups, i.e., non-administration group(23,702 cases), LHQW group(11,576 cases), JYGB group(12,112 cases), and dual combination of LHQW and JYGB group(8,854 cases). The length of stay(LOS) in the hospital was used to assess the effectiveness of LHQW and JYGB treatment on Omicron infection. Results: Patients aged 41–60 years, with nadir cycle threshold(CT) value of N gene <25, or those fully vaccinated preferred to receive CM therapy. Before or after propensity score matching(PSM), the multiple linear regression showed that LHQW and JYGB treatment were independent influence factors of LOS(both P<0.001). After PSM, there were significant differences in LOS between the LHQW/JYGB combination and the other groups(P<0.01). The results of factorial design ANOVA proved that the LHQW/JYGB combination therapy synergistically shortened LOS(P=0.032). Conclusions: Patients with a nadir CT value <25were more likely to accept CM. The LHQW/JYGB combination therapy could shorten the LOS of Omicron-infected individuals in an isolated environment.

Peanut allergy (PA)， which affects an increasing proportion of people， is gaining increasing interests. Clarification of the mechanism underlying PA may aid in the identification of novel biomarkers and strategies for clinical intervention in allergic patients. In this study， raw peanut protein (Raw)， roasted peanut protein (Roast)， high-molecular-weight protein aggregation from Roast (OH)， and the remaining components excluding OH from roasted peanut (OL) were administrated via intraperitoneal injection to challenge BALB/c mice. The allergic response was assessed， and the levels of peanut-specific immunoglobulin E， mouse mast cell protease-I， and T-lymphocyte subsets and secreted cytokines were detected. Then， serum untargeted metabolomics was investigated. Results show that Raw induced robust anaphylaxis in mice and up- or down-regulated 269 serum metabolites that mainly affected amino acid metabolism， including tryptophan metabolism， and induced disruption of tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle pathway in serum. Roast， OH and OL induced mild anaphylaxis in mice and mainly affected the glycerophospholipid metabolism in serum. Compared with Tris， OH upregulated the glycerophospholipid metabolism pathway in mouse serum， whereas Roast and OL showed the reversed effect. Mice in the Roast， OL， and OH groups all showed upregulated glycerophospholipid metabolism in serum compared with those in the Raw group. Meanwhile， different components of roasted peanut caused various changes in pathways when compared with each other. Compared with mice in the Roast group， those in the OL group displayed downregulated tryptophan and tyrosine metabolism， and those in the OH group showed upregulated glycerophospholipid metabolism and downregulated TCA cycle. The differences in serum metabolic profiles in mice implied that the processing form of allergen that patients are sensitized to and the severity of allergy should be considered in the analysis of serum biomarkers.
