Comparison between conventional and deep learning-based surrogate models in predicting convective heat transfer performance of U-bend channels

Deep neural networks are efficient methods to achieve real-time visualization of physics *** main concerns that prevented deep learning from being implemented in the field of energy conversion were the risks of overfitting and the lack of ***,it is necessary to evaluate different kinds of surrogate modeling methods and provide guidelines for designers to choose *** this study,three conventional models(Artificial Neural Network,Radial Bias Function,and Kriging),and two deep learning-based models(Convolutional Neural Network and Conditional Generative Adversarial Neural Network)were established to predict the flow and heat transfer performance of a U-bend with variable *** models were detailly compared in terms of the single-point prediction accuracy,response accuracy,sensitivity to sample size,and other characteristics of *** showed that the conventional models had slightly higher single point accuracy and the relative error of pressure loss and heat transfer were within±6.6%and±5.7%respectively,while those of the deep learning-based models were within±8.0%and±6.3%***,the deep learning-based models had higher response accuracy and could reconstruct the distributions of surface pressure and wall heat flux with the pixel-wise absolute error within±2.0 Pa and±45 W/m^(2) *** results indicated that deep learning was a promising surrogate modeling approach due to its acceptable prediction error and ability to reconstruct physical *** effort was expected to serve as a guide for establishing more reliable data-driven surrogate models for energy conversion and heat transfer problems.

Modulation response performances of a Fabry-Perot semiconductor laser subjected to light injection from another Fabry-Perot semiconductor laser

The modulation response characteristics of a Fabry-Perot semiconductor laser(slave FP-LD) subjected to light injection from another Fabry-Perot semiconductor laser(master FP-LD) have been investigated *** results show that the modulation response performances of the slave FP-LD depend on the light injection strength,the central mode frequency detuning Δf and the mode spacing difference Δλ between the slave FP-LD and the master *** the increase of the light injection strength from the master FP-LD,the 3 dB modulation bandwidth of the slave FP-LD will be enhanced;however,if the injection strength is increased to certain degree,the front side of the relaxation oscillation peak will be reduced to below 3 dB,which results in the rapid decrease of the 3 dB modulation *** the increase of Δf,for a relatively small injection strength level,the 3 dB modulation bandwidth will behave a monotonous enlargement until the slave FP-LD operates in a period-one state(P1).For a relatively strong optical injection level,the slave FP-LD has a broad injection-locked frequency detuning *** the injection-locked area,with the increase of frequency detuning Δf,the 3dB modulation bandwidth increases at first and then decreases after experiencing a maximum *** given light injection strength and frequency detuning,the 3 dB modulation bandwidth of the slave FP-LD has two maximums and behaves a symmetrical distribution with the change of Δλ.By choosing reasonable parameters,the 3 dB modulation bandwidth can be significantly *** the parameter values selected in this paper,the 3 dB modulation bandwidth can increase 5.5 times compared with the case of free running.

针对飞腾CPU平台上OpenGL文字绘制性能较低的问题,提出一种高效文字绘制方法。基于对基础绘制流程的分析,设计文字的全属性缓存策略,减少绘制数据传输和OpenGL状态切换;并行化CPU端计算密集的过程,提升文字属性处理效率;构建实例化渲染模式,实现GPU端批量化渲染。测试结果表明,在飞腾终端平台上,该文字绘制方法的绘制性能明显优于现有工作,绘制的帧率可大幅提升,资源的利用率更加合理。

Coal and rock fissure evolution and distribution characteristics of multi-seam mining

Henan Pingdingshan No.10 mine is prone to both coal and gas *** E_(9-10)coal seam is the main coal-producing seam but has poor quality ventilation,thus making it relatively difficult for gas *** F_(15)coal seam,at its lower section,is not prone to coal and gas *** average seam separation distance of 150 m is greater than the upper limit for underside protective seam *** on borehole imaging technology for field exploration of coal and rock fracture characteristics and discrete element numerical simulation,we have studied the evolution laws and distribution characteristics of the coal and rock fissure field between these two coal *** analysis of the influential effect of group F coal mining on the E_(9-10)coal seam,we have shown that a number of small fissures also develop in the area some 150 m above the overlying *** width and number of the fissures also increase with the extent of mining *** of the fissures develop at a low angle or even parallel to the *** results show that the mining of the F_(15)coal seam has the effect of improving the permeability of the E_(9-10)coal seam.

为解决电力系统人工智能应用中样本数量不足的问题,对时序数据生成方法进行研究,提出一种CDoubleGAN模型。结合编解码器和两对生成器-鉴别器,采用ARFNN替代RNN解决Lipschitz连续性问题,实现使用Wasserstein距离对目标函数的稳定优化。将数据类别标签融入模型中,生成特定类别的样本。在IEEE-39系统的实验结果表明,CDoubleGAN在类别生成上的准确度超过98%,与TimeGAN相比,生成的数据与原数据具有更高的相似度,更好保留了数据原始特性以应用于数据生产。

Coordinated Control Strategy for Harmonic Compensation of Multiple Active Power Filters

In order to minimize the harmonic distortion rate of the current at the common coupling point,this paper proposes a coordinated allocation strategy of harmonic compensation capacity considering the performance of active power filters(APF).On the premise of proportional distribution of harmonic compensation capacity,the harmonic compensation rate of each APF is considered,and the harmonic current value of each APF to be compensated is *** the same time,the communication topology is *** APF takes into account the compensation ability of other ***,three APFs with different capacity and performance are configured at the harmonic source to suppress the same harmonic source,and the harmonic distortion rate is reduced to 1.73%.The simulation results show that the strategy can effectively improve the compensation capability of the multiple APF cascaded system to the power grid without increasing the installed capacity.

Construction of OVA-stabilized fluorescent gold nanoclusters for sensing glucose

Protein protected gold nanoclusters have outstanding physical and chemical properties that make them excellent scaffolds for the construction of novel chemical and biological probes. In this study, a simple one-pot synthesis method was proposed for the preparation of fluorescent probes based on ovalbumin-stabilized gold nanoclusters. This strategy allowed the generation of water-soluble gold nanoclusters within 5 min. The as-prepared fluorescent probe exhibited a red fluorescence emission at 625 nm, and good thermostability. The fluorescent probe was applied to measure glucose concentrations based on the hydrogen peroxide-induced fluorescence quenching principle, and showed favorable biocompatibility, high sensitivity and good selectivity. As a result of the advantageous properties and performance of this fluorescent probe, the present assay allowed for the selective determination of glucose in the range of 5.0×10-6 to 10.0×10-3 mol/L with a detection limit of 1.0×10?6 mol/L. Moreover, the glucose content in urinary samples was analyzed using the constructed fluorescent probe: this indicated the potential of the fluorescent gold nanoclusters for applications in biological and clinical diagnosis and therapy.

A machine learning approach to query generation in plagiarism source retrieval

Plagiarism source retrieval is the core task of plagiarism detection. It has become the standard for plagiarism detection to use the queries extracted from suspicious documents to retrieve the plagiarism sources. Generating queries from a suspicious document is one of the most important steps in plagiarism source retrieval. Heuristic-based query generation methods are widely used in the current research. Each heuristic-based method has its own advantages, and no one statistically outperforms the others on all suspicious document segments when generating queries for source retrieval. Further improvements on heuristic methods for source retrieval rely mainly on the experience of experts. This leads to difficulties in putting forward new heuristic methods that can overcome the shortcomings of the existing ones. This paper paves the way for a new statistical machine learning approach to select the best queries from the candidates. The statistical machine learning approach to query generation for source retrieval is formulated as a ranking framework. Specifically, it aims to achieve the optimal source retrieval performance for each suspicious document segment. The proposed method exploits learning to rank to generate queries from the candidates. To our knowledge, our work is the first research to apply machine learning methods to resolve the problem of query generation for source retrieval. To solve the essential problem of an absence of training data for learning to rank, the building of training samples for source retrieval is also conducted. We rigorously evaluate various aspects of the proposed method on the publicly available PAN source retrieval corpus. With respect to the established baselines, the experimental results show that applying our proposed query generation method based on machine learning yields statistically significant improvements over baselines in source retrieval effectiveness.

Self-reaction of initial active groups in coal

For further understanding of self-heating of coal, we tested the reactions of seven different ranks of coal under inert atmosphere. In the test, 50-gram of coal sample ranged from 0.18 mm to 0.38 mm was put into a special designed copper reaction vessel and let pure nitrogen to flow into the coal sample from the bottom at a rate of 100 mL/min. The programmed temperature enclosure was run at a programmed rate of 0.8 ~C/min. The concentration of the carbon oxides and the coal temperature were tested. The results show that the coal reactions under inert atmosphere can generate CO and C02. The reactions under inert atmosphere are affected by coal ranks, initial pore structure of coal and sulfur content. For low ranks of coal, the productions of carbon oxides are piecewise. The coal temperature is lower than the surrounding temperature throughout the reactions under inert atmosphere, but it rises quickly and reaches a crossing point temperature in the later stage under dry-air atmosphere. Based on the analysis, it indicates the self-reaction of initial active groups exists in the self-heating of coal besides the reactions in the two parallel reactions model. Spontaneous combustion of coal is due to both the oxidation heat accumulation and the chain reaction. A new reaction model of self-heating of coal was orooosed.

目的对治疗依从性问卷(treatment adherence questionnaire,TAQ)进行汉化,并检验其在精神分裂症(schizophrenia,SZ)患者中的信效度及测量等值性。方法经正译、回译、文化调试和预调查后,形成中文版治疗依从性问卷。采用便利抽样法选取2023年8-11月黑龙江省某三级甲等精神专科医院收治的252例SZ患者正式进行调查,并检验其信效度和测量等值性。结果中文版TAQ包括3个维度(治疗维持、随访与治疗参与、目标与责任)共16个条目。内容效度为0.857~1.000,问卷得分与药物依从性量表呈正相关(r=0.581~0.771,均P<0.01);量表的Cronbach’sα系数为0.931,分半信度为0.842。群组验证性因素分析表明,治疗依从性具有跨性别、跨年龄和跨病程的测量等值性。结论中文版TAQ具备良好信效度,可作为我国SZ患者治疗依从性的测量工具。
