We report the cumulative reaction probabilities(CRP)of the three-dimensional Cl+H_(2)→H+HCl calculated on the Stern-Persky-Klein potential energy surface,using the generalized Newton variational principle,for total angular momentum J=0,over a total reaction energy range from 9 to 19 kcal/*** relation between CRP and reaction rate constants,as well as the calculation for complete reaction rates(summed over all J),bypassing the direct calculation of the CRP's for J>0,are also discussed.

基于Thomsen岩石各向异性参数,计算了各向异性对在地下岩层中传播的弹性地震波的相速、能速和时-深转换的影响。结果表明:在关于垂直轴对称的横向各向同性介质非对称轴方向传播的P波的能速可以小于对称轴方向的相速,而在非对称轴方向传播的SV波的能速始终大于或等于对称轴方向的相速;如果不考虑各向异性或考虑各向异性但忽略在地层中传播的地震波的能速和相速之间的差别,会引起对地震波勘探信号的时-深转换产生误差,即不能用地震波勘探信号的走时信息准确地反演地下岩层的地质结构。

The classical theory of the rate of unimolecular isomerization developed by Gray and Rice as extended by zhao and Rice is applied to the calculation of the rate of isomerization in model systems which have linear asymmetric double well potentials. We are interested in this system for two reasons. First, we are interested in the detailed dynamical processes for the mentioned system because it is widely related to practical chemical reactions. Second, the present model system has an asymmetric double well potential, which provides a different test of the accuracy of the approximations used in the Gray-zhao-Rice theory than posed by previous applications. We have calculated relaxation rates and relaxation times for the model systems on different time scales. We find that for the systems under studies the Gray-zhao-Rice version of the classical theory of isomerization rate yields values in good agreement with those generated from trajectory calculations and from the Reactive Island theory of De Leon et al.

This paper discusses the influence of the anisotropy parameters on elliptical-polarization of the inhomogenously refracted P-wave induced at VTI-media *** this refracted P-wave,we have derived,the equations of the elliptical-polarization *** the elliptical-polarization trajectory,we calculated the effects of the rock anisotropic-parameters on the polarization state,with a Poincare-sphere-like representation,for several varying media *** is noted that the size,shape and initial phase angle of the elliptical-polarization trajectory are all depending the anisotropy media,as well as on the *** expect that the findings from this paper would be applied to practical applications of seismic exploration.

Based on the reported physical parameters for hexagonal system solids,we have calculated the effects of anisotropy on polarization of plane P-wave *** we report the results of calculations and the newly observed physical *** is found that,for a given propagation,if the polarization is parallel to the wave vector,so also to the Poynting *** such a case,the phase velocity is identical to the energy velocity;the quasi P-wave degenerates to a pure P-wave along the *** is also noted that if the polarization is parallel to the Poynting vector but not to the wave vector,the propagating wave cannot be a pure ***,the polarization in a quasi P-wave may deviate from the wave vector for more than 45°,but the deviation from the Poynting vector is always less than 45°.The energy velocity of a quasi SV-wave can be larger than that of the quasi P-wave in some propagation directions,even though the phase velocity of a quasi SV-wave may never be larger than either the phase velocity or energy velocity of the quasi ***,in case of parameters ε=0 and δ*≠0,the polarization of a quasi P-wave has an observed symmetry at a 45°phase *** anisotropy of a hexagonal system solid determines if a pure P-wave can be created and what the propagation direction is for a plane wave propagating inside such a hexagonal system solid.

We explore the physical phenomenon of acoustic waves induced at the interface between two different anisotropic rock ***,one medium is a transversely isotropic medium with a vertical axis of symmetry(VTI medium)and the other one is a transversely isotropic medium with a tilt axis of symmetry(TTI medium).By solving the Kelvin-Christoffel equation,an eighth-order polynomial is established for reflection and refraction angles,which is confirmed from SnelFs *** types of analytical expressions of the polarization coefficients of the induced waves are obtained corresponding to different incident angle *** effective algorithm has been developed for numerical analysis of the polarization *** characteristic anisotropic parameters reported in the literature,the influencing factors on reflection and refraction coefficients are analyzed,e.g.,the anisotropy,the tilt-angle of rock-layer,and the *** calculated reflection and refraction coefficients have been rechecked for energy conservation.

Based on an acoustic logging transmission network and the engineering pattern of a sliding wave in acoustic logging, analysis and calculations have been performed in a study of the effects of the electric-acoustic and acoustic-electric conversions of the transducers on the acoustic logging signal. The results show that acoustic-electric conversion through the transducer can cause not only a serious disturbance in the signal amplitude, but also an apparent transmission delay. For engineering applications, the amplitude variation and transmission delay must be accounted for in a practical analysis of the acoustic logging signal in rocks. The results also show that with enhanced understanding and proper justification, the error caused by the acoustic-electric conversion can be significantly reduced in evaluation of the cement bond quality of a cased well, and the accuracy of rock porosity calculated using the measured acoustic velocity can be increased.

It is known that rock anisotropy can significantly influence the phase and energy velocities of an elastic wave,as well as its reflection/transmission(R/T)*** a result,it can distort the velocity analysis of seismic-reflection *** this work we present a velocity analysis for seismic-reflection data based on the available anisotropic rock *** analyzed the created errors on time-depth relation of the seismic-reflection data in neglecting rock anisotropy and/or neglecting the difference between energy velocity and phase velocity,including the case of wide-angle *** calculated results show that the effect of rock anisotropy on time-depth relation of seismic-reflection data is dependent not only on the values of anisotropic parameters,but also on the space arrangement of both source and *** all studied cases(weak,moderate or strong anisotropy),we found that the effect of rock anisotropy on time-depth relation could not be ***,for the case of weak anisotropy,the energy velocity may be replaceable by the phase velocity to obtain a very good approximation on time-depth ***,the seismic-reflection data processing algorithm for numerical computations can be simplified.

We report the accurate determinations of quantum mechanical state-to-state probabilities tor reactions Cl + H2 - HCl + H and H' + HCl - H'Cl + H by the generalized Newton variational principle, on the most accurate available potential energy surface. We compare the results for three versions of realistic potential energy surfaces, and to those from hyperspherical close-coupling calculations.
