A simple but effective relay-selection and power-allocation scheme is proposed to maximize the lifetime of decode-and-forward （DF） cooperative networks under the constraint that only the mean channel gain information is available at the transmitters. The new scheme takes both channel state information （CSI） and residual energy information （REI） into consideration. To evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme, three typical relay-selection and power-allocation schemes, i.e., maximum residual energy （MRE）, minimum transmit power （MTP） and equal transmit power （ETP） are considered. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the MRE and the MTP in lifetime duration and outage probability, while needing much less signal overhead compared with the ETP.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)ad hoc network has achieved significant growth for its flexibility,extensibility,and high deployability in recent *** application of clustering scheme for UAV ad hoc network is imperative to enhance the performance of throughput and energy *** conventional clustering scheme,a single cluster head(CH)is always assigned in each ***,this method has some weaknesses such as overload and premature death of CH when the number of UAVs *** order to solve this problem,we propose a dual-cluster-head based medium access control(DCHMAC)scheme for large-scale UAV *** DCHMAC,two CHs are elected to manage resource allocation and data forwarding ***,two CHs work on different *** of CH is used for intra-cluster communication and the other one is for inter-cluster communication.A Markov chain model is developed to analyse the throughput of the *** result shows that compared with FM-MAC(flying ad hoc networks multi-channel MAC,FM-MAC),DCHMAC improves the throughput by approximately 20%~50%and prolongs the network lifetime by approximately 40%.

A low-Earth-orbit(lEO)satellite network can provide full-coverage access services worldwide and is an essential candidate for future 6G ***,the large variability of the geographic distribution of the Earth’s population leads to an uneven service volume distribution of access ***,the limitations on the resources of satellites are far from being able to serve the traffic in hotspot *** enhance the forwarding capability of satellite networks,we first assess how hotspot areas under different load cases and spatial scales significantly affect the network throughput of an lEO satellite network ***,we propose a multi-region cooperative traffic scheduling *** algorithm migrates low-grade traffic from hotspot areas to coldspot areas for forwarding,significantly increasing the overall throughput of the satellite network while sacrificing some latency of end-to-end *** algorithm can utilize all the global satellite resources and improve the utilization of network *** model the cooperative multi-region scheduling of large-scale lEO *** on the model,we build a system testbed using OMNET++to compare the proposed method with existing *** simulations show that our proposed method can reduce the packet loss probability by 3.%and improve the resource utilization ratio by 3.69%.

low Earth Orbit(lEO)multibeam satellites will be widely used in the next generation of satellite communication systems,whose inter-beam interference will inevitably limit the performance of the whole *** precoding such as Tomlinson-Harashima precoding(THP)algorithm has been proved to be a promising technology to solve this problem,which has smaller noise amplification effect compared with linear ***,the similarity of different user channels(defined as channel correlation)will degrade the performance of THP *** this paper,we qualitatively analyze the inter-beam interference in the whole process of lEO satellite over a specific coverage area,and the impact of channel correlation on Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR)of receivers when THP is *** user grouping algorithm is proposed based on the analysis of channel correlation,which could decrease the number of users with high channel correlation in each precoding group,thus improve the performance of ***,our algorithm is designed under the premise of co-frequency deployment and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM),which leads to more users under severe inter-beam interference compared to the existing research on geostationary orbit satellites broadcasting *** results show that the proposed user grouping algorithm possesses higher channel capacity and better bit error rate(BER)performance in high SNR conditions relative to existing works.
