Cu/Mo2C synthesized through Anderson-type polyoxometalates modulate interfacial water structure to achieve hydrogen evolution at high current density

The development of efficient non-precious metal catalysts is important for the large-scale application of alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Here,we synthesized a composite catalyst of Cu and Mo_(2)C(Cu/Mo_(2)C)using Anderson-type polyoxometalates(POMs)synthesized by the facile soaking method as *** electronic interaction between Cu and Mo_(2)C drives the positive charge of Cu,alleviating the strong adsorption of hydrogen at the Mo site by modulating the d-band center of Mo_(2)*** studying the interfacial water structure using in situ attenuated total reflection surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy(ATR-SEIRAS),we determined that the positively charged Cu crystals have the function of activating water molecules and optimizing the interfacial water *** interfacial water of Cu/Mo_(2)C contains a large amount of free water,which could facilitate the transport of reaction *** to activated water molecules and optimized interfacial water structure and hydrogen adsorption energy,the overpotential of Cu/Mo_(2)C is 24 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) and 178 mV at a current density of 1000 mA·cm^(-2).This work improves catalyst performance in terms of interfacial water structure optimization and deepens the understanding of water-mediated catalysis.

As an innovative software application mode,Software as a service(SaaS) shows many attractive *** legacy system to SaaS can make outdated systems *** the process of migration,the existing valuable components need to be discovered and reused in order that the target system could be developed/integrated more *** innovative approach is proposed in this paper to extract the reusable components from legacy ***,implementation models of legacy system are recovered through reverse ***,function models are derived by vertical clustering,and then logical components are discovered by horizontal clustering based on the function ***,the reusable components with specific feature descriptions are *** experimental verification,the approach is considered to be efficient in reusable component discovery and to be helpful to migrating legacy system to SaaS.

Biochemical Characterization of an Arginine 2,3-Aminomutase with Dual Substrate Specificity

Summary of main observation and conclusion The radical S-adenosylmethionine(SAM)aminomutases represent an important pathway for the biosynthesis of p-amino *** this study,we report biochemical characterization of BlsG involved in blasticidin S biosynthesis as a radical SAM arginine 2,*** showed that BlsG acts on both£-arginine and L-lysine with comparable catalytic *** dual substrate specificity was also observed for the lysine 2,3-aminomutase from Escherichia coli(LAMec).The catalytic efficiency of LAMEc is similar to that of BlsG,but is significantly lower than that of the enzyme from Clostridium subterminale(LAMcs),which acts only on L-lysine rather than on ***,we showed that enzymes can be grouped into two major phylogenetic clades,each corresponding to a certain C3 stereochemistry of the P-amino acid *** study expands the radical SAM aminomutase members and provides insights into enzyme evolution,supporting a trade-off between substrate promiscuity and catalytic efficiency.

Toward accurate link between code and software documentation

Recovering traceability links between source code and software documentation is an important research topic in software maintenance and software reuse. There have been a lot of research efforts in recovering traceability between documentation and code elements(class, interface, method, etc.), mostly based on program analysis. However, there are still a lot of noise links being established in existing work. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to classifying code elements, occurring in a document, into contextual code elements and salient code elements. As a result, we can filter the noise traceability links between a software document and its contextual code elements and get a higher quality link set. Our classifier is trained based on open source project Lucene’s source code and 1899 Stack Overflow answer documents about *** extract code elements from these documents and represent each of these code elements with a 7-dimension feature vector, then we use a decision-tree-based learning model to classify them as salient or not. In the experiments, we get a precision of 70.7% in recognizing the salient code elements of these documents and get12% improvement compared with Rigby’s work. We can filter out 56.5%～69.3% noise traceability links with different thresholds in our classifier. It can improve the quality of traceability links between source code and their related software documents in application.

BACKGROUND Non-ketotic hyperglycaemic(NKH)seizures are a rare neurological complication of diabetes caused by hyperglycaemia in non-ketotic and non-hyperosmotic *** clinical characteristics of NKH seizures are atypical and lack unified diagnostic criteria,leading to potential misdiagnoses in the early stages of the *** SUMMARY This report presents a rare case of NKH seizures in a 52-year-old male patient with a history of type 2 diabetes *** performed comprehensive magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)studies at admission,12 d post-admission,and 20 d *** imaging techniques included contrast-enhanced head MRI,T2-weighted imaging(T2WI),fluid-attenuated inversion recovery(FLAIR),diffusion-weighted imaging,susceptibility-weighted imaging,magnetic reso-nance spectroscopy(MRS),and magnetic resonance *** the time of admission,T2WI and FLAIR of the cranial MRI showed that the left parieto-occipital cortex had gyrus-like swelling and high signal,and subcortical stripes had low *** showed a reduced N-acetylaspartate peak and increased creatine and choline peaks in the affected areas.A follow-up MRI 20 d later showed that the swelling and high signal of the left parieto-occipital cortex had disappeared,and the low signal of the subcortex had *** This case study provides valuable insights into the potential pathogenesis,diagnosis,and treatment of NKH *** comprehensive MRI findings highlight the potential utility of various MRI sequences in diagnosing and characterizing NKH seizures.

Lidar based on the optical phased array(OPA)and frequency-modulated continuous wave(FMCW)technology stands out in automotive applications due to its all-solid-state design,high reliability,and remarkable resistance to ***,while FMCW coherent detection enhances the interference resistance capabilities,it concurrently results in a significant increase in depth computation,becoming a primary constraint for improving point cloud density in such perception *** address this challenge,this study introduces a lidar solution leveraging the flexible scanning characteristics of *** proposed system categorizes target types within the scene based on RGB ***,it performs scans with varying angular resolutions depending on the importance of the *** results demonstrate that,compared to traditional scanning methods,the target-adaptive method based on semantic segmentation reduces the number of points to about one-quarter while maintaining the resolution of the primary target ***,with a similar number of points,the proposed approach increases the point cloud density of the primary target area by about four times.

Extreme precipitation is exacerbating the burden of infectious diarrhea in the context of climate change,it is necessary to identify the critical and easy-to-intervene intermediate factors for public health *** quality may be the most important mediator,while relevant empirical evidence is *** study aimed to examine the role of water quality in the process of infectious diarrhea caused by extreme *** infectious diarrhea cases,meteorological factors and water quality data in Yangtze River Basin in China between October 29,2007 to February 19,2017 were ***-stage statistical models were used to estimate city-specific extreme precipitation,water quality and infectious diarrhea relationships that were pooled to derive regional estimates.A causal mediation analysis was used to assess the mediation effect of water *** Yangtze River Basin,extreme precipitation events had a significant impact on infectious diarrhea(Incidence Rate Ratios[IRR]:1.027,95%Confidence Interval[CI]:1.013~1.041).After extreme precipitation events,the dissolved oxygen(DO)in surface water decreased(-0.123 mg/L,95%CI:-0.159 mg/L~-0.086 mg/L),while the un-ionized ammonia(NH(3)-N)increased(0.004 mg/L,95%CI:0.001 mg/L~0.006 mg/L).The combined overall effect of DO and NH(3)-N on infectious diarrhea showed that both low and high concentrations were associated with an increased risk of infectious *** causal mediation analysis showed that the mediation proportion of the two water quality indexes(DO and NH(3)-N)is 70.54%(P<0.001).To reduce the health effects of extreme precipitation,in contrast to current population-oriented health strategies,those that take into account more direct and easy-to-intervene water quality indicators should be encouraged by future policies.

Particle Swarm Optimization Applied to Some Anti-Windup Problems

The particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is introduced to deal with some open anti-windup problems, i.e., determining the initial condition when applying the iterative algorithm to enlarge the estimate of the domain of attraction, determining the design point in the delayed anti-windup scheme, and determining the design point and the weighting factors in the multi-stage anti-windup scheme. Therefore, the corresponding PSO-based algorithms are proposed. Unlike the traditional methods in which the free design parameters can only be selected by trial and error with the available computational results, the PSO-based algorithms provide a systematic way to determine these parameters. In addition, the algorithms are easy to be implemented and are very likely to find the desirable parameters that further improve the anti-windup closed-loop performances. Simulation results are presented to validate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed method.

Petrologic and REE Geochemical Characters of Burnt Rocks

The study of burnt rocks is beneficial to the discussion on the tectonic movement, paleoclimate and paleogeography that coal seams are subjected to after they were formed. In order to obtain the basic data on the features of the burnt rocks, a systematic study of petrology and REE geochemistry on burnt rocks in Shenmu, Northern Shaanxi Province has been done, using the methods of SEM, EDS, susceptibility measurements and ICP-MS. The burnt rocks are divided into two series in the section： the melted rocks and the baked rocks. SEM and EDS analyses reveal that all the minerals show burnt and melted traces, and there are no clay minerals except illite found in the burnt rocks. Susceptibility measurements reveal that the burnt rocks have abnormally high susceptibility values, whereas a geochemical analysis shows that the REE distribution pattern of burnt rocks is similar to that of sedimentary rocks （initial rocks）. In the longitudinal section, with increasing degree of burning （from baked rocks to melted rocks）, the ∑REE gradually decreases, and the total REE of melted rocks is obviously lower than that of baked rocks. Besides, the melted rocks show apparent negative Ce anomalies, while the baked rocks show no anomaly of Ce, and sometimes even show positive anomalies.

Genetic causes of oil-rich and oil-poor reservoirs: Implications from two Cenozoic basins in the eastern North China Craton

The Bohai Bay and Hehuai(southern North China) rift basins in the eastern part of the North China Craton are southnorth-adjacent. They have shown synchronous evolutionary processes, and possess generally identical superficial and shallow structural characteristics as well as similar basin areas. However, there is a large difference in the richness of oil resources between the two basins. The Bohai Bay Basin has extremely abundant oil reserves, while commercial oil reserves have not been found in the Hehuai Basin. The deep tectonic structures, magmatic activities, and modern and paleo-geothermal fields of the two basins are significantly different. Compared with the Hehuai Basin, the Bohai Bay Basin has a thinner crust and more complex structure with multiple low-velocity layers. It is also characterized by intense magmatic activity, high modern and paleogeothermal fields, frequent seismic activity, and active deep interactions, small effective elastic thickness of the isotropic lithosphere, and shorter balanced transformation wavelength of the lithosphere with a high likelihood of local compensation. The Hehuai Basin has a simple deep structure and homogeneous crustal composition, with a high likelihood of regional compensation. The characteristics of the deep structures mentioned above are generally similar to those of the southern part of the stable Ordos Basin, except for the smaller crust thickness. This indicates the presence of differences in Mesozoic destruction between the southern and northern zones in the eastern part of the North China Craton. The northern zone was subjected to significant destruction, while the southern zone was subjected to modifications, primarily in the form of local changes in the structures and/or properties of the crust or lithospheric mantle, with the overall structure and stability of the craton kept intact.
