There are a lot of researches on qualitative aseismatic measures for buried gas pipeline crossing movable faults.But a few of them are quantitative,especially in the size and shape of the trench.The paper first established the finite element model of the strain of buried pipeline crossing a fault which effected by the size and shape of the trench.And it obtained new soil spring stiffness which considered different buried depth,bottom width of trench,trench slope and elastic modulus of soil.The mechanical analysis model of pipeline is established,and the limit state equation of pipeline is fitted.The reliability and sensitivity of the natural gas pipeline under fault action are analysed by a Monte Carlo method,and the error and accuracy are verified.When the pipeline is under tension,the sensitivity from large to small is buried depth,sand friction angle,pipe diameter,pipeline displacement,trench bottom width,trench depth,clay cohesion,trench slope and clay friction angle;when the pipeline is under pressure,the trench depth and clay cohesion have great influence.The findings of this study provide a reference for pipeline design and safety evaluation under fault action.

The adrenal gland secretes a variety of hormones that regulate physiological functions,and adrenal lesions can lead to insidious or sudden onset diseases that are easily misdiagnosed.Recently,several young patients with unknown sudden and refractory cardiogenic shock or cardiac arrest(CA)were successfully treated in our emergency department by the application of venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(VA-ECMO).These life-threatening conditions were finally determined to be caused by adrenal lesions,which highlight the bridging role of VA-ECMO.[1]

Isothermal Crystallization of iPP in Environment-friendly Diluents:Effect of Binary Diluents and Crystallization Temperature on Crystallization Kinetics

The growing demand for non-toxic solvents for membrane preparation has motivated the studies for green and sustainable alternatives of solvents. The effect of droplet isothermal growth within the liquid-liquid phase separation region on isothermal spherulitic growth rate of isotactic polypropylene(iPP) was investigated. The results showed that the droplets grew up at a rate of 0.0172 μm·s^(-1). The larger droplets slowed down the isothermal spherulitic growth rate of iPP. Higher mass ratio of carnauba wax(Cwax)/soybean oil(SO)resulted in faster droplet growth due to weak interaction with polymers. The isothermal crystallization behaviors of iPP in environmentfriendly binary diluents consisting of Cwax and SO mixture were further investigated experimentally using polarized optical microscopy.It was demonstrated that the isothermal spherulitic growth rate of iPP in diluents decreased nonlinearly with the increasing crystallization temperature. Compared with virgin iPP, isothermal spherulitic growth rate of iPP in SO diluent was significantly slowed down. The spherulitic growth was further retarded after the addition of Cwax in mixed diluents, resulting in a lower crystallization rate than that in SO. Moreover, the crystal form of iPP membranes was found to be α type through the characterization of small angle X-ray scattering and wide angle X-ray diffraction.

Gastric ectopic pancreas combined with synchronous multiple early gastric cancer: A rare case report

BACKGROUND A large percentage of patients with ectopic pancreas are asymptomatic.When present,the symptoms are typically non-specific.These lesions are predominantly located in the stomach and benign in nature.Synchronous multiple early gastric cancer(SMEGC)(two or more simultaneous malignant lesions with early gastric cancer)is relatively rare and particularly easy to overlook during endoscopic examination.The prognosis of SMEGC is generally poor.We report a rare case of ectopic pancreas with concomitant SMEGC.CASE SUMMARY A 74-year-old woman presented with paroxysmal upper abdominal pain.On initial investigations,she tested positive for Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori).She underwent esophagogastroduodenoscopy which revealed a 1.5 cm×2 cm major lesion at the greater curvature and a 1 cm minor lesion at the lesser curvature of the stomach.On endoscopic ultrasound,the major lesion showed hypoechoic changes,uneven internal echoes and unclear boundaries between some areas and the muscularis propria.Endoscopic submucosal dissection was performed to excise the minor lesion.A laparoscopic resection was chosen for the major lesion.On histopathological examination,the major lesion contained high grade intraepithelial neoplasia with a small focus of cancer.A separate underlying ectopic pancreas was found under this lesion.The minor lesion contained high grade intraepithelial neoplasia.In this case,the patient was diagnosed with SMEGC with concomitant ectopic pancreas in the stomach.CONCLUSION Patients with atrophy,H.pylori,and other risk factors should be carefully investigated to avoid missing other lesions including SMEGC and ectopic pancreas.

Fluoxetine Ameliorates the Aggravation of UC Symptoms in C57BL/6 Mice Induced by CUMS

Objective Patients with chronic ulcerative colitis(UC)often have mental symptoms such as depression and anxiety,and stress can lead to gastrointestinal diseases.However,the correlation between mental stress and UC is unclear.In this paper,chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS)was utilized to evaluate the involvement of mental factors in the pathogenesis of UC.Methods The CUMS model was used to evaluate the direct/indirect involvement of mental factors in the pathogenesis of UC.The behavior was evaluated by the open field,forced swimming,and tail suspension tests.Body weight,the disease activity index(DAI)score,colon length,and HE staining of colon tissue were used to evaluate the action of CUMS and fluoxetine.Results The results showed that weight loss and the DAI score increased in CUMS mice,but they had no meaningful effect on colon length and morphological structure of colon tissue.However,CUMS aggravated dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced colon length shortening and colon morphological structure damage.Fluoxetine significantly improved the DAI score,shortened colon length,and damaged morphology and structure of the colons induced by CUMS combined with DSS in mice.Fluoxetine also decreased the level of IL-6 in the serum and the TNF-αand IFN-γlevels of colon tissue.Fluoxetine simultaneously improved behavioral abnormalities induced by CUMS combined with DSS in mice.Conclusion CUMS aggravated the UC symptoms induced by DSS,and fluoxetine could improve the UC symptoms due to its improvement in the inflammatory level and behavioral abnormalities.

Novel Hash Function Based on Coupled Chaotic Map Lattices

Hash function has been widely used in cryptographic field. This paper proposes a Hash function based on complexly Coupled chaotic map latices(CCML).It is equipped with new features of parallel and flexible processing. Parallelism indicates that the algorithm can reach high level of efficiency and speed. Flexibility means the length of Hash function and message block processed each time can be easily changed to adapt to practical demand. Experimental results show that the Hash function is one-way, with high plaintext sensitivity, as well as its strong capability for confusion and diffusion, and collision resistance. In comparison with MD5 and another Hash function based on chaos, the proposed Hash function shows good performance.

Temperature-responsive polymers have garnered significant attention due to their ability to respond to external stimuli.In this work,dual temperature-responsive block copolymers are synthesized via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization(RAFT)polymerization utilizing zwitterionic monomer methacryloyl ethyl sulfobetaine(SBMA) and N-isopropyl acrylamide(NIPAAm) as monomers.The thermal responsive behaviors can be easily modulated by incorporating additional hydrophobic monomer benzyl acrylate(BN) or hydrophilic monomer acrylic acid(AA),adjusting concentration or pH,or varying the degree of polymerization of the block chain segments.The cloud points of the copolymers are determined by UV-Vis spectrophotometry,and these copolymers exhibit both controlled upper and lower critical solu bility temperatures(LCST and UCST) in aqueous solution.This study analyzes and summarizes the influencing factors of dual temperature responsive block copolymers by exploring the effects of various conditions on the phase transition temperature of temperature-sensitive polymers to explore the relationship between their properties and environment and structure to make them more selective in terms of temperature application range and regulation laws.It is very interesting that the introduction of poly-acrylic acid(PAA) segments in the middle of di-block copolymer PSBMA_(55)-b-PNIPAAm_(80) to form PSBMA_(55)-b-PAA_(x)-b-PNIPAAm_(80) results in a reversal of temperature-responsive behaviors from 'U'(LCST UCST) type,while the copolymer PSBMA_(55)-b-P(NIPAAm_(80)-co-AA_(x)) not.This work provides a clue for tuning the phase transition behavior of polymers for manufacture of extreme smart materials.

A novel Mo_(8.7)Nb_(6.1)O_x@NCs egg-nest composite structure as superior anode material for lithium-ion storage

Anode materials of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)endowed with high-rate performance and fast charging capability are crucial for future energy storage systems.Here,Mo_(8.7)Nb_(6.1)O_(x)@NCs(nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes,NCs)egg-nest structure synthesized by an in-situ solvothermal method is reported.The Mo_(8.7)Nb_(6.1)O_(x)@NCs egg-nest exhibits high embedding potential,high pseudocapacitance contribution rate(87.5%),and low charge transfer resistance.The electrochemical results show that Mo_(8.7)Nb_(6.1)O_(x)@NCs demonstrates excellent rate performance(reversible capacity of 196.8 mAh·Ag^(-1)at 10 A·Ag^(-1),and full charging only takes 1.1 min)and excellent cycle stability(reversible capacity of 513 mAh·Ag^(-1)at 0.5 A·Ag^(-1)combined with a capacity loss of only 5.4%after 100 cycles),outperforming the state-of-the-art literature.The full cell is assembled with Mo_(8.7)Nb_(6.1)O_(x)@NCs as the anode and LiFeP04 as the cathode,which can provide a remarkably high energy density of 731.9 Wh·kg^(-1),indicating its excellent prospect for practical applications.

Variants of Interleukin-7/Interleukin-7 Receptor Alpha are Associated with Both Neuromyelitis Optica and Multiple Sclerosis Among Chinese Han Population in Southeastern China

Background： Neuromyelitis optica （NMO） and multiple sclerosis （MS） are autoimmune demyelinating diseases of the central nerve system, lnterleukin-7 （IL-7） and interleukin-7 receptor alpha （IL-7Rα） were proved to be important in the pathogenesis of both diseases because of the roles they played in the differentiations of autoimmune lymphocytes. The variants of both genes had been identified to be associated with MS susceptibility in Caucasian, Japanese and Korean populations. However, the association of these variants with NMO and MS has not been well studied in Chinese Southeastern Han population. Here, we aimed to evaluate the association of six IL-7 variants （rsl520333, rs1545298, rs4739140, rs6993386, rs7816065, and rs2887502） and one variant of IL-7RA （rs6897932） with NMO and MS among Chinese Han population in southeastern China. Methods： Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry （MassARRAY system） and Sanger sequencing were used to determine the variants of IL-7 and IL-7RA in 167 NMO patients, 159 MS patients and 479 healthy controls among Chinese Han population in southeastern China. Samples were excluded if the genotyping success rate 〈90%. Results： Statistical differences were observed in the genotypes of IL-7 rs1520333 in MS patients and IL-7RA rs6897932 in NMO patients, compared with healthy controls （P = 0.035 and 0.034, respectively）. There was a statistically significant difference in the genotypes of IL-7 rs2887502 between MS and NMO patients （P = 0.014）. And there were statistically significant differences in the rs6897932 genotypes （P = 0.004） and alleles （P = 0.042） between NMO-IgG positive patients and healthy controls. Conclusions： The study suggested that among Chinese Hart population in southeastern China, the variant of IL-7RA （rs6897932） was associated with NMO especially NMO-IgG positive patients while the variant of IL-7 （rs1520333） with MS patients. Introduction Pneumonia caused by a novel coronavirus known as 2019 novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)[1]appeared in Wuhan,China in December 2019,and approximately 15%to 30%of patients developed acute respiratory distress syndrome within a short period of time.[2,3]To reduce respiratory symptoms and improve prognosis,respiratory support is the most important means of life support,[1]and non-invasive respiratory support systems,[2]including various conventional oxygen therapies,non-invasive positive pressure ventilation(NPPV),and high-flow nasal cannula(HFNC),are most commonly used.However,their efficacy and safety remain unclear,and whether they increase the risk of aerosol dispersion and disease transmission is particularly controversial.[4,5]Given that there are many similarities between COVID-19 pneumonia and severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS)and Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS),[6]this study primarily discusses clinical indications and provides details regarding the prevention of nosocomial infections during NPPV and HFNC treatment of COVID-19 pneumonia based on previous clinical data on the use of these two therapies for SARS and MERS and our experience with the treatment of COVID-19 pneumonia.
