In sect n europeptides are a group of brain n euro-regulatory factors,which plays very important roles in growth and developme nt,molting and metamorphosis,as well as mating and reproduction.The neuropeptide F(NPF),a multi-functional neuropeptide,is one of neuropeptides identified in numerous insect species,which plays important roles in feeding,metabolism,courtship,reproduction,aggression,ethanol sensitivity,locomotor circadian rhythms,learning and stress responses.These roles of NPF are implemented through NPF receptors(NPFR).The NPFR1,a G protein-coupled receptor with 7 transmembrane domai ns,is one of these receptors and is found to be imports nt for NPF regulation.The NPF usually is con sisted of around 36-40 amino acid residues,but the short neuropeptide F(sNPF)consisted of 7-16 amino acid residues have also been found in some insects.In this review,the structure and function of both NPF and sNPF in in sects are discussed.

In view of its aging population,China initiated in 2012 a relaxed birth control policy after a three-decades-long implementation of the restrictive one-child policy.This paper examines how China's relaxed birth control policy leads to gender inequality.It specifically focuses on migrant workers because they account for a significant portion of the working group.Using the National Migrant Population Dynamic Monitoring Survey from 2014 to 2016,we found that China's two-child pilot policy reduced female labor force participation by 1.4 percentage points.This negative effect was more pronounced for women with higher educational levels or working in the private sector because employers foresee greater risks of productivity decline.We demonstrated that the gender pay gap increased from RMB956 to RMB1,053 during this same period.Pinpointing these unintended consequences brought about by the relaxation of the one-child policy helps provide a more complete picture of inequality and make sense of persistent relative poverty in Chinese society.To counteract gender discrimination,females are advised to work outside their home jurisdictions and take advantage of positive peer effects.

The application of lightweight structures with excellent energy absorption performance is crucial for enhancing vehicle safety and energy efficiency.Cellular structures,inspired by the characteristics observed in natural organisms,have exhibited exceptional structural utilization in terms of energy absorption compared with traditional structures.In recent years,various innovative cellular structures have been proposed to meet different engineering needs,resulting in significant performance improvements.This paper provides a comprehensive overview of novel cellular structures for energy absorption applications.In particular,it outlines the application forms and design concepts of cellular structures under typical loading conditions in vehicle collisions,including axial loading,oblique loading,bending loading,and blast loading.Cellular structures have evolved to meet the demands of complex loading conditions and diverse research methods,focusing on achieving high-performance characteristics across multiple load cases.Moreover,this review discusses manufacturing techniques and strate-gies for enhancing the manufacturing performance of cellular structures.Finally,current key challenges and future research directions for cellular structures are discussed.The aim of this study is to provide valuable guidelines for researchers and engineers in the development of next-generation lightweight cellular structures.

Prediction of seawater pH by bidirectional gated recurrent neural network with attention under phase space reconstruction:case study of the coastal waters of Beihai,China

Marine life is very sensitive to changes in pH.Even slight changes can cause ecosystems to collapse.Therefore,understanding the future pH of seawater is of great significance for the protection of the marine environment.At present,the monitoring method of seawater pH has been matured.However,how to accurately predict future changes has been lacking effective solutions.Based on this,the model of bidirectional gated recurrent neural network with multi-headed self-attention based on improved complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise combined with phase space reconstruction(ICPBGA)is proposed to achieve seawater pH prediction.To verify the validity of this model,pH data of two monitoring sites in the coastal sea area of Beihai,China are selected to verify the effect.At the same time,the ICPBGA model is compared with other excellent models for predicting chaotic time series,and root mean square error(RMSE),mean absolute error(MAE),mean absolute percentage error(MAPE),and coefficient of determination(R2)are used as performance evaluation indicators.The R2 of the ICPBGA model at Sites 1 and 2 are above 0.9,and the prediction errors are also the smallest.The results show that the ICPBGA model has a wide range of applicability and the most satisfactory prediction effect.The prediction method in this paper can be further expanded and used to predict other marine environmental indicators.

早发性卵巢功能不全(Premature Ovarian Insufficiency,POI)指女性在40岁之前出现卵巢功能的减退,影响患者的身心健康,是困扰现代生殖医学的难题。中医学认为POI归属于“年未老经水断”“闭经”“月经过少”的范畴。岭南罗氏妇科注重调补肾脾,先后天并重,提倡“肾-天癸-冲任-胞宫生殖轴”学说,赵颖教授为岭南罗氏妇科第四代主要传承人,其认为POI在于冲任失调、肾脾虚弱,从冲任失调角度论治,利用时间周期疗法、顺应时间节律,治疗上以温经汤为核心,调摄冲任、补肾健脾,疗效显著。

Due to the mismatch of the circuit oscillators,there will always be a frequency offset between the transmitter and the receiver.In the adjacent channel interference(ACI)suppression system using the reconstruction and cancellation method,the frequency offset decreases the accuracy of the reconstructed signal and introduces a time-varying term in the interference cancellation,resulting in poor performance of the ACI suppression.In this paper,the relationship between the normalized frequency offset,signal-to-noise ratio and the loss of interference suppression capability is analyzed through formula derivation and simulation.The validity of the frequency offset compensation method based on the pilot sequence is verified,and the relationship between the sequence length and the estimation accuracy is given.This paper provides necessary method reference and data support for the engineering of ACI suppression.

以三文鱼鱼糜为原料,通过添加谷氨酰胺转氨酶(TG酶)制作三文鱼鱼糜凝胶,采用响应面法对凝胶工艺进行优化,并对三文鱼鱼糜凝胶香气和品质进行评价。结果表明:三文鱼鱼糜凝胶最佳工艺条件为TG酶添加量1.65%(以三文鱼鱼糜质量为基准)、凝胶时间30 min、凝胶温度39℃。在此条件下,三文鱼鱼糜凝胶的凝胶强度为0.415 kgf,嫩度为60.56 N,持水率为97.32%,蒸煮损失率为11.37%,冻融损失率为3.65%。三文鱼鱼糜凝胶含有丰富的醛类物质和碳氢化合物,对其香味有突出贡献,且该三文鱼鱼糜凝胶有浓郁的鱼香味,没有任何异味。

In this paper,we provide some gentle introductions to the recent advance in augmented Lagrangian methods for solving large-scale convex matrix optimization problems(cMOP).Specifically,we reviewed two types of sufficient conditions for ensuring the quadratic growth conditions of a class of constrained convex matrix optimization problems regularized by nonsmooth spectral functions.Under a mild quadratic growth condition on the dual of cMOP,we further discussed the R-superlinear convergence of the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker(KKT)residuals of the sequence generated by the augmented Lagrangian methods(ALM)for solving convex matrix optimization problems.Implementation details of the ALM for solving core convex matrix optimization problems are also provided.

Posttranslational modifications increase the complexity and functional diversity of proteins in response to complex external stimuli and internal changes.Among these,protein lipidations which refer to lipid attachment to proteins are prominent,which primarily encompassing five types including S-palmitoylation,N-myristoylation,S-prenylation,glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPl)anchor and cholesterylation.Lipid attachment to proteins plays an essential role in the regulation of protein trafficking,localisation,stability,conformation,interactions and signal transduction by enhancing hydrophobicity.Accumulating evidence from genetic,structural,and biomedical studies has consistently shown that protein lipidation is pivotal in the regulation of broad physiological functions and is inextricably linked to a variety of diseases.Decades of dedicated research have driven the development of a wide range of drugs targeting protein lipidation,and several agents have been developed and tested in preclinical and clinical studies,some of which,such as asciminib and lonafarnib are FDA-approved for therapeutic use,indicating that targeting protein lipidations represents a promising therapeutic strategy.Here,we comprehensively review the known regulatory enzymes and catalytic mechanisms of various protein lipidation types,outline the impact of protein lipidations on physiology and disease,and highlight potential therapeutic targets and clinical research progress,aiming to provide a comprehensive reference for future protein lipidation research.
