The management of acute ischemic stroke remains challenging due to its abrupt onset and the narrow treatment window,resulting in high rates of disability and *** therapy for neuroprotection and neurorepair strategies provided new hopes for subacute stroke *** we designed a multistage nanodelivery system that matches the unique microenvironment of the subacute phase of stroke,which utilizes calixarene as a building block to effectively load the neuroprotective drug *** calixarene is designed with glycosidic linkages targeting the glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1)on the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and azo bonds that are responsive to hypoxic ***,the decomposed calixarene molecules themselves possess intrinsic bio-activation to modulate inflammatory responses,achieving a multistage therapeutic approach that transitions from targeting to release and finally to *** approach combines anti-inflammation and neuroprotection,providing a multi-level treatment *** system was validated in a rat model of permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion (pMCAO),demonstrating that intravenous administration of the nanodelivery system repairs brain damage and improves motor function 24 h post-pMCAO *** work offers a precise and integrative strategy for stroke patients missing the acute therapy window to improve functional recovery and enhance the effect of comprehensive treatment.

FAQ （frequently asked question） is widely used on the Internet, but most FAQ＇s asking and answering are not automatic. This paper introduces the design and imple mentation of a FAQ automatic return system based on semantic similarity computation, including computation model choo sing, FAQ characters analyzing, FAQ data formal expressing, feature vector indexing, and weight computing and so on. According to FAQ features of sentence length short, two mapping, strong domain characteristics etc. Vector Space Model with special semantic process was selected in system, and corresponding algorithm of similarity computation was proposed too. Experiment shows that the system has a good performance for high frequent and common questions.

Experimental Study on New Multi-Column Tension-Leg-Type Floating Wind Turbine

Deep-water regions often have winds favorable for offshore wind turbines, and floating turbines currently show the greatest potential to exploit such winds. This work established proper scaling laws for model tests, which were then implemented in the construction of a model wind turbine with optimally designed blades. The aerodynamic,hydrodynamic, and elastic characteristics of the proposed new multi-column tension-leg-type floating wind turbine(Wind Star TLP system) were explored in the wave tank testing of a 1:50 scale model at the State Key Laboratory of Ocean Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Tests were conducted under conditions of still water, white noise waves, irregular waves, and combined wind, wave, and current loads. The results established the natural periods of the motion, damping, motion response amplitude operators, and tendon tensions of the Wind Star TLP system under different environmental conditions, and thus could serve as a reference for further research.

Modeling of friction stir welding process for tools design

A three-dimensional friction stir welding （FSW） process model has been developed based on fluid mechanics. The material transport in the welding process has been regarded as a laminar, viscous, and non-Newtonian liquid that flows past a rotating pin. A criterion to divide the weld zone has been given on the basis of cooperation of velocity field and viscosity field. That is, the η0-easy-flow zone that existed near the tool pin corresponded to the weld nugget zone; the area between the η0-easy-flow zone and η1-viscosity band is corresponded to the thermal-mechanical affected zone （TMAZ）. The model gives some useful information to improve the understanding of material flow in FSW through the simulation result of velocity distribution. In order to appraise the friction stir pin design, three kinds of pin geometry, one is column pin, the second is taper pin, and the last one is screw threaded taper pin, were used in the model. The pin geometry seriously affected the simulation result of velocity distribution in the η0-easy-flow zone. The velocity distribution in the η0-easy-flow zone can be considered as the criterion of optimizing friction stir tool design. This study will benefit to direct the friction stir tool design.

Concept Design and Coupled Dynamic Response Analysis on 6-MW Spar-Type Floating Offshore Wind Turbine

Tower, Spar platform and mooring system are designed in the project based on a given 6-MW wind turbine. Under wind-induced only, wave-induced only and combined wind and wave induced loads, dynamic response is analyzed for a 6-MW Spar-type floating offshore wind turbine （FOWT） under operating conditions and parked conditions respectively. Comparison with a platform-fixed system （land-based system） ofa 6-MW wind turbine is carried out as well. Results demonstrate that the maximal out-of-plane deflection of the blade of a Spar-type system is 3.1% larger than that of a land-based system; the maximum response value of the nacelle acceleration is 215% larger for all the designed load cases being considered; the ultimate tower base fore-aft bending moment of the Spar-type system is 92% larger than that of the land-based system in all of the Design Load Cases （DLCs） being considered; the fluctuations of the mooring tension is mainly wave-induced, and the safety factor of the mooring tension is adequate for the 6-MW FOWT. The results can provide relevant modifications to the initial design for the Spar-type system, the detailed design and model basin test of the 6-MW Spar-type system.

Objective To evaluate multidrug resistant loop-mediated isothermal amplification(MDR-LAMP)assay for the early diagnosis of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis and to compare the mutation patterns associated with the rpoB,katG,and inhA genes at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and *** MDR-LAMP assay was evaluated using 100 Mycobacterium tuberculosis(Mtb)isolates obtained from the National Reference Laboratory for Tuberculosis in *** resistance to isoniazid and rifampicin and whole-genome sequencing served as reference *** The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value(PPV),and negative predictive value(NPV)of MDR-LAMP were 85.5%,93.6%,96.7%,and 74.4%for the detection of resistance to isoniazid and rifampicin,respectively,and 80.5%,92.3%,98.6%,and 41.4%for the detection of Mtb cultured from smear-positive sputum samples,*** DNA sequencing was used as the reference standard,the sensitivity,specificity,PPV,and NPV of MDR-LAMP were 93.1%,92.3%,97.2%,and 82.8%for the detection of katG and inhA gene mutations,respectively,and 89.1%,88.9%,93.4%,and 81.1%for the detection of rpoB gene mutation,*** MDR-LAMP is a rapid and accessible assay for the laboratory identification of rifampicin and isoniazid resistance of Mtb isolates.

Experimental study on vibration suppression of gear shaft misalignment with ISFD

Misalignment faults in gear systems lead to violent vibration and noise, shortening the life of equipment. The aim of this work is the demonstration of vibration suppression of parallel-misaligned gear shafts using an integral squeeze film damper(ISFD). Using a first grade spur gear in engineering for reference, an open first-grade spur gear system is built and the vibration characteristics of the gear system with rigid supports and ISFD elastic damping supports are studied under different degrees of misalignment. The experimental results show that ISFD supports have excellent damping and vibration attenuation characteristics, which have improved control of the gear system vibration in horizontal, vertical and axial directions under different degrees of misalignment. This work shows that an ISFD structure can effectively suppress vibration of characteristic frequency components and resonance modulation frequency components. The test results provide evidence for the application of ISFD in vibration control of gear shaft misalignment faults in engineering.

Automatic detection and assessment of crack development in ultra-high performance concrete in the spatial and Fourier domains

Automatic detection and assessment of surface cracks are beneficial for understanding the mechanical performance of ultra-high performance concrete(UHPC).This study detects crack evolution using a novel dynamic mode decomposition(DMD)*** this method,the sparse matrix‘determined’from images is used to reconstruct the foreground that contains cracks,and the global threshold method is adopted to extract the crack *** application of the DMD method to the three-point bending test demonstrates the efficiency in inspecting cracks with high ***,the geometric features,including the area and its projection in two major directions,are evaluated over *** relationship between the geometric properties of cracks and load-displacement curves of UHPC is *** to the irregular shape of cracks in the spatial domain,the cracks are then transformed into the Fourier domain to assess their *** indicate that crack patterns in the Fourier domain exhibit a distinct concentration around a central ***,the power spectral density of cracks exhibits an increasing trend over *** investigation into crack evolution in both the spatial and Fourier domains contributes significantly to elucidating the mechanical behavior of UHPC.
