BACKGROUND:Shared decision-making(SDM)has broad application in *** published studies have focused on SDM for a certain disease or expert opinions on future research gaps without revealing the full picture or detailed guidance for clinical *** study is to investigate the optimal application of SDM to guide life-sustaining treatment(LST)in ***:This study was a prospective two-round Delphi consensus-seeking survey among multiple stakeholders at the China Consortium of Elite Teaching Hospitals for Residency *** were identified based on their expertise in medicine,law,administration,medical education,or patient *** individual items and questions in the questionnaire were scored using a 5-point Likert scale,with responses ranging from"very unimportant"(a score of 1)to"extremely important"(a score of 5).The percentages of the responses that had scores of 4-5on the 5-point Likert scale were calculated.A Kendall’s W coefficient was calculated to evaluate the consensus of ***:A two-level framework consisting of 4 domains and 22 items as well as a ready-touse checklist for the informed consent process for LST was *** acceptable Kendall’s W coefficient was ***:A consensus-based framework supporting SDM during LST in an emergency department can inform the implementation of guidelines for clinical interventions,research studies,medical education,and policy initiatives.

Enhancing soil aggregation and acetamiprid adsorption by ecofriendly polysaccharides hydrogel based on Ca^(2+)-amphiphilic sodium alginate

Soil aggregation plays an important role in agricultural production ***,the structure of soil aggregation is destroyed by the natural environment and unreasonable farming management,resulting in the loss of water,fertilizers and pesticides in *** present,hydrogels have been widely reported to promote the formation of soil *** this paper,amphiphilic calcium alginate(ASA/Ca^(2+))was applied to promote the formation of soil aggregation and enhance pesticide ***,an ASA was obtained through the one-pot Ugi condensation(a four-component green chemical reaction).Then,ASA/Ca^(2+) hydrogel is prepared by Ca^(2+) *** formation of soil aggregation was determined through the Turbiscan Lab Expert stability analyzer,Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope(CLSM),and Transmission Electron Microscope(TEM).And the effect of soil aggregation on acetamiprid environmental behavior was investigated by adsorption kinetics,adsorption isotherms,and *** results shown that the three-dimensional network structure of ASA/Ca^(2+) hydrogel can promote the formation of soil *** durability index(ADI)was 0.55 in the presence of ASA/Ca^(2+) hydrogel,indicating that amphiphilic hydrogel can enhance the stability of soil *** adsorbing capacity of acetamiprid was 1.58 times higher than pure soil,and the release of acetamiprid only about 20%in the presence of ASA/Ca^(2+) *** results would be helpful for the formation of soil aggregation and pesticides adsorption on soil ***,ASA/Ca^(2+) hydrogel is likely to improve soil quality,simultaneously it can minimize the mobility of pesticides in the agricultural system.

Assessment of sediment yield in a small karst catchment by using 137Cs tracer technique

There is very thin soil layer in karst rocky desertification areas in Southwest China,sediment deposition and sediment yield in the karst area affects the development of vegetation *** the present study,the137Cs technique was used to assess the rate of sediment deposition and sediment yield in a small karst ***137Cs inventory within the depression varied between 800 m-2and 2,200 Bq m-2,with the mean value of 1,500.1 Bq ***137Cs reference inventory at a nearby reference site was 805.9 Bq *** could be inferred to that sediment deposition had occurred in the *** mean depth of sediments deposition in the depression was 6 cm and the deposition rate was approximately 0.13 cm *** analysis of the topographic characteristics of the catchment revealed that the sediment deposition occurred mainly at the lower part of the small ***,there was a sinkhole in the depression,little sediment had drained out with runoff through the sinkhole,because the local people built ridges around the sinkholes for storing *** to this,sediment yield rate in the small catchment was estimated to be approximately 19.25 to 27.5 t km-2yr-1,and the extremely low sediment yield was maybe the main obstacle to vegetation restoration in karst rocky desertification areas.

Highly active,stable,and cut-price(photo-)electrocatalysts are desired to overwhelm high energy barriers for anodic oxygen evolution reaction ***,a heterostructure of cobalt-iron oxide/black phosphorus nanosheets is in-situ synthesized via a facile and novel three-electrode electrolysis *** black phosphorus is exfoliated into its nanosheets at the cathode while the CoFe oxide is derived directly from the metal wire anode during the electrolysis *** heterostructure exhibits excellent electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance,and the overpotential at 10 mA·cm^(−2)is 51 mV lower than that of the commercial RuO_(2)*** superior OER performance stems from the favorable adsorption behavior and an enlarged electrochemical active surface area of the *** reveal the origin of excellent OER performance from the point of adsorption strength of OH*,methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)test is applied under the identified OER operating *** introduction of light illumination enhances the OER activity of this *** overpotential drops down to 280 mV,benefiting from pronounced photochemical response of black phosphorus nanosheets and iron oxide inside the *** work develops a new electrochemical method to construct high performance and light-sensitive heterostructures from black phosphorus nanosheets for the OER.

AIM: To determine the epidemiological characteristics and estimate the risk factors of diabetic retinopathy (DR) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in Shandong Peninsula of China. METHODS: The cases of T2DM admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Qingdao University, Shandong Province, China, from January 2006 to December 2010 were retrospectively reviewed. The epidemiological characteristics of DR were estimated. The cases were divided into two groups according to degrees of retinopathy: non-DR group and DR group. Logistic regression analysis was used to study the related risk factors of DR. RESULTS: The prevalence of DR in patients with T2DM was 25.08% (834/3326). There was significant difference between the average age for men (59.08 +/- 15.43 years) and for women (62.92 +/- 18.19 years, P=0.0021). The majority of DR occurred in women (female: male ratio=1.76:1, Phe incidence rate of DR in urban (489/834) was higher than that in rural area (345/834, Phe mean duration of T2DM was 8.90 +/- 4.15 years (range: 0-16 years); 440 people (52.76%) had received varying degrees of health education about prevention and primary care of DM; and 473 people (56.71%) suffered from other DM complications confirmed at the same time. In addition, the incidence rate of monocular (551/3326) and binocular retinopathy (283/3326) were statistically different (Phe presence of DR included old age, lower health educational level, intraocular surgery history, longer duration of T2DM, accompanying with other DM complications, no standard treatment procedure, lower body mass index (BMI) and higher fasting plasma glucose (FPG), glycated hemoglobin A(1)C (HbA(1)C), urine albumin (UA), total cholesterol (TC), low-density-lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C). Ablotlc stress, such as salt, drought and extreme temperature, can result in enhanced production of reactive oxygen species （ROS）. Plants have developed both enzymatic ROS-scavenging and non-enzymatic ROS-scavenging systems. The major ROS-scavenging enzymes of plants include superoxide dismutase （SOD）, ascorbate peroxldaae （APX）, catalaae （CAT）, glutathione peroxldaae （GPX） and peroxiredoxina （Prxa）. In the present work, we identified a gene encoding chloroplast-located peroxiredoxin Q, SsPrxQ, from Suaeda salsa L. located at chloroplast. Overexpression of SsPrxQ In Arabidopsis leads to an increase In salt and low-temperature tolerance.

With the rapid development of microelectronics and flexible electronics technology,self-powered sensors have significant application prospects in human-machine interface systems and Internet of ***,piezoelectric-and triboelectricbased sensors have low current output and are easily affected,while electromagnetic-based sensors are difficult to *** work proposes a high-density stacked microcoil integrated microminiaturized electromagnetic vibration energy harvester(EVEH).The double-layer high-density microcoil is fabricated on both sides of the flexible polyimide substrate interconnected via the central *** to reduced single coil line width,line spacing,and stacked structure,the number of turns can be substantially ***,the relative position of the coils and magnet has a considerable influence on the performances;due to the huge change rate in magnetic flux when the coil is placed in the radial direction of the magnet than in the axial direction,the open-circuit voltage in the radial direction is 10 times *** microcoil can maintain good performance at high,low temperatures and under bending *** the distance between the ends of the coil changes from 2 to 20 mm in 2 mm steps,the bending angle of the coil changes from 45°to 270°in 45°steps;furthermore,when the coil is exposed to-40and 60℃conditions,the coil resistance is maintained at approximately 447Ω.The peak open-circuit voltage of three-piece microcoils reaches 0.41 V at 4 Hz under 2g,and the output voltage and current increase with an increasing number of stacked *** excellent properties indicate that EVEH can be used for self-powered acceleration *** sensitivity is measured to be 0.016 V/(m/s^(2))with a correlation coefficient of 0.979 over the acceleration range of 1–18 m/s^(2).Thus,the developed microminiaturized EVEH has enormous potential for self-powered sensing applications in confined spaces and harsh environments.
