Al_(2.O_(3)-supported monometallic Ni,Co,and bimetallic Ni-Co nanocatalysts originated from layered double hydroxide precursors were synthesized by co-precipitation method,and used for the synthesis of useful 5-amino-1-pentanol(5-AP)and 1,5-pentanediol(1,5-PD)by reductive amination(RA)or direct hydrogenation of biofurfuralderived 2.hydroxytetrahydropyran(2.HTHP),*** both reactions,the yield of the target products decreased monotonously with the increasing amounts of Co in the NiCo/Al_(2.O_(3)catalysts,owing probably to the replacement of highly reactive Ni by Co component with inferior hydrogenation activity at the low reaction temperature of 60℃.However,the incorporation of Co could improve the reducibility of the NiCo/Al_(2.O_(3)bimetallic catalysts and promote the reaction stability of the catalysts,especially for Ni_(2.Co1/Al_(2.O_(3),in both reactions with over 180 h *** of the catalysts before and after the reaction showed that the incorporating Co could inhibit the sintering of metal particles and hinder the surface oxidation of the more reactive Ni0species,thanks to the formation of Ni-Co alloy in the bimetallic ***-based modeling of the reaction mechanisms is also performed,supporting the reaction pathway proposed previously and also the much higher activity of Ni in the RA of 2.HTHP as compared with Co.

Stiffened structures have great potential for improvingmechanical performance,and the study of their stability is of great *** this paper,the optimization of the critical buckling load factor for curved grid stiffeners is solved by using the level set based density method,where the shape and cross section(including thickness and width)of the stiffeners can be optimized *** grid stiffeners are a combination ofmany single stiffenerswhich are projected by the corresponding level set *** thickness and width of each stiffener are designed to be independent variables in the projection applied to each level set ***,the path of each single stiffener is described by the zero iso-contour of the level set *** the single stiffeners are combined together by using the p-norm method to obtain the stiffener *** proposed method is validated by several numerical examples to optimize the critical buckling load factor.

UHV transmission lines are usually equipped with high-voltage shunt *** reactors and the resulting degree of compensation affect the voltage,current,and other electrical characteristics of secondary *** this paper,a low-voltage experimental simulation setup to produce secondary arcs in different compensation modes is established,and the morphological and electrical characteristics of recorded arc images and discharge waveforms are *** morphological characteristics,the degree of secondary arcs is compared for different compensation *** electrical characteristics,the arc waveform,volt–current characteristics,and zero-current time of secondary arcs are compared for different compensation *** results provide a foundation to determine the time of extinction of secondary arcs on overhead lines in the case of compensation,as well as technical support to develop effective arc suppression and extinction techniques.

Interfacial water molecules are the most important participants in the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Hence,understanding the behavior and role that interfacial water plays will ultimately reveal the HER ***,investigating interfacial water is extremely challenging owing to the interference caused by bulk water molecules and complexity of the interfacial ***,the behaviors of interfacial water in different cationic electrolytes on Pd surfaces were investigated by the electrochemistry,in situ core-shell nanostructure enhanced Raman spectroscopy and theoretical simulation *** spectral evidence reveals a red shift in the frequency and a decrease in the intensity of interfacial water as the potential is shifted in the positively *** comparing the different cation electrolyte systems at a given potential,the frequency of the interfacial water peak increases in the specified order:Li+2.)2.).The structure of interfacial water was optimized by adjusting the radius,valence,and concentration of cation to form the two-H down *** unique interfacial water structure will improve the charge transfer efficiency between the water and electrode further enhancing the HER ***,local cation tuning strategies can be used to improve the HER performance by optimizing the interfacial water structure.

Coordination polymerization of renewable β-ocimene has been investigated using asymmetric diiminophosphinate lutetium complex1, β-diketiminate yttrium complex 2. bis(phosphino)carbazolide yttrium complex 3, half-sandwich benzyl fluorenyl scandium complex 4 and pyridyl-methylene-fluorenyl rare-metal complexes 5a–5c. Complexes 1, 4 and 5a–5c show trans-1,2.regioselectivities and high activities, of which 5c exhibits excellent isoselectivity(mmmm>99%). Conversely, complexes 2.and 3 promote β-ocimene polymerization to produce isotactic cis-1,4-polyocimenes(cis-1,4>99%, mm>95%). Diblock copolymers cis-1,4-PIP-block-cis-1,4-POc and cis-1,4-PBD-block-cis-1,4-POc are obtained in one-pot reactions of β-ocimene with isoprene and butadiene using complex 3. Epoxidation and hydroxylation of polyocimene afford functionalized polyolefins with enhanced T_(g)(from-2. ℃ to 79 ℃ and 74 ℃) and hydrophilicity.

The Ross,Filchner-Ronne,and Amery ice shelves are the three largest ice shelves in Antarctica,playing a crucial role in supporting the Antarctic ice ***,current studies on the stability of the three largest ice shelves primarily focus on singular or limited factors,lacking a comprehensive assessment of multiple *** systematically and in-depth study the stability and trend of the three largest ice shelves,we comprehensively collected and analyzed key parameters,including elevation changes,basal melting,surface meltwater,major rifts propagation rate,suture zones,ice front area change rate,grounding lines,ice velocity,and mass ***,we selected the collapsed Larsen B Ice Shelf(LBIS),the rapidly changing and structurally weakened Pine Island Ice Shelf(PIIS),and the accelerating Totten Ice Shelf(TIS)as reference ice *** comparing and analyzing the key parameters between these reference ice shelves and the three largest ice shelves,we find the status and trends in the stability of the *** findings reveal that most key parameters of the three largest ice shelves present relatively minor variations compared to those of the reference ice ***,50%of the parameters are smaller than those of the accelerating TIS,88%are smaller than those of the rapidly changing PIIS,and all parameters are smaller than those of the collapsed ***,after analyzing parameters that are not smaller than those of the TIS,it is observed that they remain in a stable ***,the three largest ice shelves are currently undergoing natural changes that do not threaten their stability in the short ***,the evolution of the ice shelves under global climate change remains uncertain,making long-term observation and monitoring essential to assess their impact on sea level rise.

As ethnic medicine,the whole grass of plants in Cirsium was used as *** review focuses on the antimicrobial activity of plants in Cirsium,including antimicrobial components,against different types of microbes and bacteriostatic *** results showed that the main antimicrobial activity components in Cirsium plants were flavonoids,triterpenoids and phenolic acids,and the antimicrobial ability varied according to the species and the content of *** them,phenolic acids showed a strong antibacterial ability against Acinetobacter baumannii,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,and Enterococcus *** antibacterial mechanisms include:(1)damaging the cell membrane,cell walls,mitochondria and nucleus of bacteria;(2.inhibiting the synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids;(3)suppressing the synthesis of enzymes for tricarboxylic acid cycle pathways and glycolysis,and then killing the bacteria via inhibition of energy ***,most research results on antimicrobial activity of Cirsium plants are reported based on in vitro *** evidence from clinical data and comprehensive evaluation are needed.
