Aim:To study whether gum mastic,a natural resin,can regulate maspin expres-sion in prostate cancer cells,and further investigate the mechanisms involved inthis regulatory ***:RT-PCR and Western blotting were used todetect maspin expression at the transcriptional and translational *** assay was used to investigate the effect of gum mastic on the maspin *** binding activity of negative androgen-responsive element (ARE) and posi-tive Spl element in the maspin promoter were studied by electrophoretic mobilityshift ***:Gum mastic induced maspin mRNA and protein expression,and the maspin promoter activity was enhanced with gum mastic ***,gum mastic inhibited the ARE binding activity and increased the Sp 1.bindingactivity in the maspin ***:Gum mastic enhances maspin pro-moter activity by suppressing ARE binding activity and enhancing Spl bindingactivity,and the increased activity in the maspin promoter finally leads to the up-regulation of both its mRNA and protein levels.

The Moon provides a unique environment for investigating nearby astrophysical events such as *** samples retain valuable information from these events,via detectable long-lived“fingerprint”radionuclides such as^(60)*** this work,we stepped up the development of an accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)method for detecting^(60)Fe using the HI-1.tandem accelerator at the china {1. of Atomic Energy(CIAE).Since interferences could not be sufficiently removed solely with the existing magnetic systems of the tandem accelerator and the following Q3. magnetic spectrograph,a Wien filter with a maximum voltage of±60 kV and a maximum magnetic field of 0.3.T was installed after the accelerator magnetic systems to lower the detection background for the low abundance nuclide^(60)Fe.A 1.m thick Si_(3.N_(4) foil was installed in front of the Q3. as an energy *** particle detection,a multi-anode gas ionization chamber was mounted at the center of the focal plane of the ***,an^(60)Fe sample with an abundance of 1.1.5×1.^(-1.)was used to test the new AMS *** results indicate that^(60)Fe can be clearly distinguished from the isobar^(60)*** sensitivity was assessed to be better than 4.3.1.^(-1.)based on blank sample measurements lasting 5.8 h,and the sensitivity could,in principle,be expected to be approximately 2.5×1.^(-1.)when the data were accumulated for 1.0 h,which is feasible for future lunar sample measurements because the main contaminants were sufficiently separated.

The unique cellular microstructure of Fe-rich Sm_(2)Co_(1.)-type permanent magnets is closely associated with the structure of the solid solution *** investigate the phase structure,magnetic properties,and mechanical behavior of B-doped Sm_(2)Co_(1.)-type magnets with high Fe *** doped B atoms can diffuse into the interstitial vacancy,resulting in lattice expansion and promote the homogenization of the phase organizational structure during the solid solution treatment in ***,the resulting second phase plays a dominant role to result in more microtwin structures and highly ordered 2:1.R phases in the solid solution stage,which inhibits the ordering transformation of 1.7H phase during aging and affects the generation of the cellular structure,and to result in a decrease in magnetic properties,yet the interface formed between it and the matrix phase hinders the movement of dislocations and enhances the mechanical ***,the precipitation of high flexural strain grain boundary phase induced by B element doping is also a new and effective way to improve the flexural strain of Sm_(2)Co_(1.)-type *** study provides a new understanding of the phase structure evolution and its effect on the magnetic and mechanical properties of Sm_(2)Co_(1.)-type magnets with high Fe content.

Hydride ion(H-)conductors have drawn much attention due to their potential applications in hydrideion-based *** earth metal hydrides(REH_(x))have fast H-conduction which,unfortunately,is accompanied by detrimental electron conduction preventing their application as ion ***,REH_(x)(RE=Nd,Ce,and Pr)with varied grain sizes,rich grain boundaries,and defects have been prepared by ball milling and subsequent *** electronic conductivity of the ball-milled REH_(x)samples can be reduced by 2-4 orders of magnitude compared with the non-ball-milled *** relationship of electron conduction and miscrostructures in REH_(x)is studied and discussed based on experimental data and previously-proposed classical and quantum *** H-conductivity of all REH_(x)is about 1.^(-4)to 1.^(-3.S cm^(-1.at room temperature,showing promise for the development of H-conductors and their applications in clean energy storage and conversion.

It is of crucial importance to investigate the spatial structures of ancient landslides in the eastern Tibetan Plateau’s alpine canyons as they could provide valuable insights into the evolutionary history of the landslides and indicate the potential for future *** study examines the Deda ancient landslide,situated in the Chalong-ranbu fault zone,where creep deformation suggests a complex underground *** integrating remote sensing,field surveys,Audio-frequency Magnetotellurics(AMT),and Microtremor Survey Method(MSM)techniques,along with engineering geological drilling for validation,to uncover the landslide’s spatial feature *** research indicates that a fault is developed in the upper part of the Deda ancient landslide,and the gully divides it into Deda landslide accumulation zoneⅠand Deda landslide accumulation zoneⅡin *** distinctive geological characteristics detectable by MSM in the shallow subsurface and by AMT in deeper *** findings include the identification of two sliding zones in the Deda I landslide,the shallow sliding zone(DD-I-S1.depth is approximately 20 m,and the deep sliding zone(DD-I-S2)depth is 3..2-49.9 *** sliding zone(DD-Ⅱ-S1.depth of the DedaⅡlandslide is 3..6-43.1.m.A novel MSM-based method for sliding zone identification is proposed,achieving less than 5%discrepancy in depth determination when compared with drilling *** results provide a valuable reference for the spatial structural analysis of large-deepseated landslides in geologically complex regions like the eastern Tibetan Plateau.

It is of great scientific and economic value to recycle waste poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET)into high-value PET-based metal organic frameworks(MOFs)and further convert it into porous carbon for green energy storage *** the present study,a facile and costeffective hydrothermal process was developed to direct recycle waste PET bottles into MIL-53.Al)with a 1.0% conversation,then the MOFderived porous carbon was assembled into electrodes for high-performance *** results indicated that the as-synthesized carbon exhibited high SSA of 1.1. m^(2)g^(-1.and unique accordion-like structure with hierarchical *** to these advantageous characters,the assembled three-electrode supercapacitor displayed high specific capacitances of 3.1.F g^(-1.at the current density of 0.5 A g^(-1.and good rate capability of 73.6% capacitance retention at 20 A g^(-1.in 6 mol L^(-1.KOH ***,the assembled zinc ion capacitor still revealed outstanding capacitance of 3.5 F g^(-1.at 0.1.A g^(-1.,excellent cycling stability of 92.2% capacitance retention after 1.000 cycles and ultra-high energy density of 1.0.3.Wh kg^(-1.at power density of 90 W kg^(-1.in 3.mol L^(-1.ZnSO_(4)*** is believed that the current work provides a facile and effective strategy to recycle PET waste into high-valuable MOF,and further expands the applications of MOF-derived carbons for high-performance energy storage devices,so it is conducive to both pollution alleviation and sustainable economic development.
