The application of organic photovoltaic(OPV)cells to drive off-grid microelectronic devices under indoor light has attracted broad *** organic semiconductors intrinsically have less ordered intermolecular packing than inorganic materials,the relatively larger energetic disorder is one of the main results that limit the photovoltaic efficiency of the OPV cells at low carrier ***,we optimize the alkyl chains of non-fullerene acceptors to get suppressed energetic *** find the optimal acceptor DTz-R1 with the shortest alkyl chain has the strongest crystalline property and lowest energetic *** a result,over 26%efficiency is recorded for the 1 cm^(2) OPV cells under a light-emitting diode illumination of 500 *** also fabricate a 100 cm^(2) cell device and get a PCE of 23.0%,which is an outstanding value for large-area OPV *** results suggest that modulation of the energetic disorder is of great importance for further improving the efficiency of OPV cells,especially for indoor applications.

Synthesis of Highly Regioregular, head-to-Tail Coupled Poly(3-octylesterthiophene) via C―H/C―H Coupling Polycondensation

Highly regioregular, head-to-tail coupled poly（3-octylesterthiophene） was synthesized by the Pd-catalysed oxidative C--H/C--H coupling polycondensation. The regioregularity of polymer products was confirmed by the 1H-NMR technique. Furthermore, the effects of various reaction factors including polymerization temperature, solvents and catalysts etc. on the yield, molecular weight and structural regioregularity of the resultant polymers were systematically studied. The optical, electrochemical and crystallization properties of the resultant P3OET with different HT regioregularities in solution and film state were studied by UV-Vis and fluorescent spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and X-ray diffraction （XRD）, resepectively.

Simulation of gas-solid flow in sinter vertical cooling furnace

The velocity distribution of sinter and gas in vertical cooling furnace(VCF)has an important influence on gas-solid heat *** on the slot model of single hopper in the VCF of Meishan Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.,the velocity and particle size distribution of sinter and the velocity and pressure distribution of gas were studied using a computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method model to obtain the gas-solid flow rule in the *** results showed that the velocity of sinter near the wall and the edge of vent cowl was lower than that in the rest of the same ***,the rectangular section of the vertical cooling furnace can be divided into a quasi-static zone,a plug flow zone and a convergent flow zone according to the flow velocity of the *** average particle size and the void fraction of sinter bed were distributed in"W"and"V"shape along the width direction,*** distribution of gas velocity in the furnace cavity was uneven,and the high-velocity area gradually changed from the center to the edge of the furnace cavity with the rise of *** the ratio of edge to center gas flow from 2.7∶1 to 0.7∶1 could improve the gas velocity,but could not change the gas velocity *** gas velocity distribution was more affected by the average particle size distribution of the sinter *** was suggested that measures need be taken to adjust it to improve the gas velocity distribution in the VCF.

Microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of a new Al-Cu-Li-X alloy at different solution temperatures

The micros tructural evolution and mechanical properties of a new Al-3.8 Cu-1.2 Li-0.4 Mg-0.4 Zn-0.4 Ag-0.3 Mn-X alloy treated at different solution temperatures were *** grain size was measured in optical micrograph(OM).The residual particles and the major precipitates were identified by electron probe microanalysis(EPMA),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscope(TEM),*** results show that the peak strength appears at 530℃/1 h+T6(165℃/20 h) and the values are 566.2 MPa(tensile strength) and 538.2 MPa(yield strength) with the elongation of 6.5 %.The strength of the alloy increases rapidly with the amount of the precipitates T1 and θ’ increasing when the solution temperature is530℃.The increase in density of precipitates is resulted from the residual particles Al2 Cu,and particles enriched with Cu,Mg,Zr and Ag dissolve into matrix gradually with the solution temperature ***,the number of precipitates decreases and part of the grain boundary weakens with a further increase in solution temperature from 540 to 550℃,leading to a decline of strength.

Characterization of Nanostructures in Acellular Cementum of Human Tooth Roots

Determining the microstructure in human cementum might help us design new kinds of replacement materials for the treatment of teeth injury and disease. The authors characterized the nanostructures in the cementum of health human teeth via scanning electronic microscopy（SEM）. It was found that the acellular cementum is mainly composed of two kinds of nanostructures―inorganic nanoparticles and organic nanofibers. And the inorganic nanoparticles show a tendency to arrange along the organic nanofibers. Based on the micro-molding in capillary strategy, the distribution of organic component in acellular cementum was copied with UV curable resin. After removing the inorganic nanoparticles by acid etching, many isolated spindle shape nanopores were left in polymer, which su- ggested that the inorganic nanoparticles should have been isolated by the organic component in cementum, and should be oval or nanosheet in shape. We hope the present work could provide reference for the biomimetic preparation of tissue engineering materials, and help us design new types of tooth implant.

Simultaneous determination of human plasma protein binding of bioactive favonoids in Polygonum orientale by equilibrium dialysis combined with UPLC–MS/MS

A simple and selective ultra performance liquid chromatography--electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry （UPLC-ESI-MS/MS） assay was developed for the determination of the human plasma protein binding of four bioactive ftavonoids （such as orientin and vitexin） in Polygonum orientale. Protein precipitation was used for sample preparation. Equilibrium dialysis technique was applied to determine the plasma protein binding under physiological conditions. The separation was achieved through a Waters C i s column with a mobile phase composed of 0.1% formic acid in acetonitrile and 0.1% aqueous formic acid using step gradient elution at a flow rate of 0.35 mL/min. A Waters ACQUITYTM TQD system was operated under the multiple reaction monitoring （MRM） mode of positive electrospray ionization. All of the recovery, precision, accuracy and stability of the method met the requirements. Good correlations （r 〉 0.99） of the four compounds were found, which suggested that these compounds can be simultaneously determined with acceptable accuracy. Results showed that the plasma protein bindings of the four bioactive flavonoids were in the range of 74-89% over the six concentrations studied. The binding parameters containing protein binding affinity, protein binding dissociation constant, and protein binding site were studied. The maximum ability to bind with protein was also determined in the assay in order to understand the drug-protein binding of each compound better.

Dating recent sediments from the subaqueous Yangtze Delta and adjacent continental shelf,China

In this study we analyzed sediment lithology,fallout of 210Pb and 137Cs,and spheroidal carbonaceous particles(SCPs) for two short cores,YZE and CX38,obtained by gravity corer from the Yangtze River mouth offshore and adjacent continental shelf,to compare geochronological methods on the recent sediments of this *** and grain size changes in YZE suggested the re-discharging of the North Channel of the Yangtze River mouth by flood events during 1949-1954 and associated accretion in the offshore *** event was validated by a remarkable zone of declination in both 137Cs and 210Pb activities and the absolute ages derived from the 137Cs and *** contrast,210Pb results show obvious disturbance of grain size by sediment mixing and cannot be interpreted above 100 *** CX38,absolute ages for the early-and mid-1950s were derived by the 137Cs and the SCP profile respectively,which occurred in a reasonable *** excess 210Pb distribution shows exponentially decreasing activities with depth,and the mean sedimentation rate agrees roughly with the one inferred from the SCP *** suggest that the limitation of the 210Pb method needs consideration while the SCP profile has the potential to provide a useful and independent dating method for recent Yangtze offshore and adjacent shelf sediments.

UV Photodissociation Dynamics of Nitric Acid： The Hydroxyl Elimination Channel

Sliced velocity mapping ion imaging technique was employed to investigate the dynamics of the hydroxyl elimination channel in the photodissociaiton of nitric acid in the ultraviolet region. The OH product was detected by （2＋1） resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization via the D^2∑^- electronic state. The total kinetic energy spectra of the OH＋NO2 channel from the photolysis of HONO2 show that both ：NO2（X2A1） and NO2（A2B2） channels are present, suggesting that both 1^1A″ and 2^1A″ excited electronic states of HONO2 are involved in the excitation. The parallel angular distributions suggest that the dissociation of the nitric acid is a fast process in comparison with the rotational period of the HNO3 molecule. The anisotropy parameter β for the hydroxyl elimination channel is found to be dependent on the OH product rotational state as well as the photolysis energy.
