Sparse microwave imaging radar is a newly developed concept of microwave imaging system,which tries to combine the traditional radar imaging system with sparse signal processing theories,achieving the aim of reducing the complexity of microwave imaging systems and enhancing the system *** this paper,we introduce some basic concepts of sparse signal processing theory,and then apply it to the traditional radar imaging system to get the mathematical model of sparse microwave imaging *** analyze the factors that determine the performance of sparse microwave imaging radar,including scene,waveform and *** to the radar model,we analyze how these factors influence the radar system and how to optimize *** results of the sparse microwave imaging radar system are also provided.

The rapid development of compressive sensing(CS)shows that it is possible to recover a sparse signal from very limited *** aperture radar(SAr)imaging based on CS can reconstruct the target scene with a reduced number of collected samples by solving an optimization *** multi-channel SAr imaging based on CS,each channel requires sufficient samples for separate imaging and the total number of samples could still be *** propose an imaging algorithm based on distributed compressive sensing(DCS)that reconstructs scenes jointly under multiple ***-channel SAr imaging based on DCS not only exploits the sparsity of the target scene,but also exploits the correlation among *** requires significantly fewer samples than multi-channel SAr imaging based on *** multiple channels offer different sampling rates,DCS joint processing can reconstruct target scenes with a much more flexible allocation of the number of measurements offered by each channel than that used in separate CS processing.

Telomerase activity is a wide tumor marker. Human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTErT), the catalytic subunit of the telomerase, is transcriptionally upregulated exclusively in about 90% of cancer cells. In this study, we constructed a novel adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector containing the human interferon-β (hIFN-β) gene under the control of hTErT promoter (AAV-hTErT-hIFN-β) and investigated its antitumor effect against various human cancer cells in vitro. AAV-hTErT-hIFN-β displayed cancer-specific hIFN-β expression and cytotoxicity. The cytotoxic ratio was positively correlated with the time length of infection. AAV-hTErT-hIFN-β-mediated apoptotic morphology was observed by transmission electron microscopy. Flow cytometry assay also revealed that the cytotoxicity of AAV-hTErT-hIFN-β was mainly an apoptotic process. These data indicate that AAV in combination with hTErT-mediated therapeutic gene expression may open new possibilities for long-lasting and targeting gene therapy of varieties of cancers.

Sparse microwave imaging is a novel radar framework aiming to bring revolutions to the microwave imaging according to the theory of sparse signal *** compressive sensing(CS)is introduced to synthetic aperture radar(SAr)imaging in recent years,the current SAr sparse imaging methods have shown their advantages over the traditional matched filtering ***,the requirement for these methods to process the compressed range data results in the increase of the hardware *** the SAr sparse imaging method that directly uses the raw data is *** paper describes the method of SAr sparse imaging with raw data directly,presents the analysis of the signal-to-noise ratio(SNr)in the echo signal by combining the traditional radar equation with the compressive sensing theory,and provides the tests on 2.D simulated SAr *** simulation results demonstrate the validity of the SNr analysis,and the good performance of the proposed method while a large percentage of the raw data is *** experiment with radarSat-1 raw data is also carried out to show the feasibility of processing the real SAr data via the method proposed in this *** method is helpful for designing new SAr systems.

The ZrO2.ceramic particles strengthened NiAl/Cr(Mo,Hf) composite was fabricated from the rapidly solidified NiAl/Cr(Mo,Hf) pre-alloyed powder and the ZrO2.powder by powder metallurgy technique. Microstructure examination revealed that in the prepared composite NiAl and Cr(Mo) phases distributed at the eutectic cell boundary become coarse but many Cr(Mo) platelets inside the eutectic cell were broken, which was different from the original powder. Moreover, fine Ni2.lHf and Hf solid solution particles distributed uniformly in the composite, and the ZrO2.particles mainly segregated along eutectic cell boundary. In addition, twin crystal and stacking faults were observed inside of ZrO2.grains. The experimental results showed that the ZrO2.ceramic particles strengthened NiAl/Cr(Mo,Hf) composite exhibited better room temperature and high temperature mechanical properties than the NiAl/Cr(Mo,Hf) alloy, which may be attributed to the fine structure and the strengthening effect of ZrO2.particles.

Based on the COHErENS （a Coupled Hydrodynamical Ecological model for regional Shelf seas）, a three-dimensional baroclinic model for the summer of East china Sea （ECS） was established with the sigma-coordinate in the vertical direction and spherical coordinate in the horizontal direction. The circulation patterns of the Kuroshio Current, the Taiwan Warm Current （TWC）, the Tsushima Current and the Yangtze Diluted Water （YDW） were successfully simulated with this model. The calculated results are fairly consistent with previous observations and studies. Based on this baroclinic current field, the Lagranian particles tracking was simulated to estimate the possible origins of the red tides frequently occurring in the Yangtze river estuary and its adjacent sea areas. If there are ＂seeds＂（cysts） of the red tide algae at the seabed of the Taiwan Strait, the offshore of Fujian and Zhejiang provinces and the northeast Taiwan Island, those are extremely possible sources of the red tides in the Yangtze river estuary and its adjacent sea areas. Field data are needed to confirm it. Numerical simulation to estimate the source of the red tides is a new application of the Lagrangian transport in the marine ecology.

No well-established biomarkers are available for the clinical diagnosis of major depressive disorder(MDD).Vitamin D-binding protein(VDBp)is altered in plasma and postmortem dorsolateral prefrontal cortex(DLpFC)tissues of MDD ***,the role of VDBp as a potential biomarker of MDD diagnosis was further *** extracellular vesicles(EVs)and brain cell-derived EVs(BCDEVs)were isolated from the plasma of first-episode drug-naïve or drug-free MDD patients and well-matched healthy controls(HCs)in discovery(2. MDD patients and 2. HCs)and validation cohorts(88 MDD patients and 3. HCs).VDBp level in the cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)from chronic glucocorticoid-induced depressed rhesus macaques or prelimbic cortex from lipopolysaccharide(LpS)-induced depressed mice and wild control groups was measured to evaluate its relationship with VDBp in plasma microglia-derived extracellular vesicles(MDEVs).VDBp was significantly decreased in MDD plasma MDEVs compared to HCs,and negatively correlated with HAMD-2. score with the highest diagnostic accuracy among *** in plasma MDEVs was decreased both in depressed rhesus macaques and mice.A positive correlation of VDBp in MDEVs with that in CSF was detected in depressed rhesus *** levels in prelimbic cortex microglia were negatively correlated with those in plasma MDEVs in depressed *** main results suggested that VDBp in plasma MDEVs might serve as a prospective candidate biomarker for MDD diagnosis.
