In the eastern Nanling Range there exists the early Yanshanian syenite-granite assemblage. A representative example is the Pitou-Tabei complex composed of the Tabei syenite pluton and the Pitou syenogranite pluton in southern Jiangxi Province. U-Pb zircon dating {2.elds ages of 188.6±2.2.ma for the Tabei pluton and 186.3±1.1 ma for the Pitou pluton. The Tabei syenite is characterized by relatively low SiO2.content (62.40% - 68.75%), high alkalis (K2.+Na2. = 10.56%-11.96%), low percent K2./Na2. ratios (0.56-0.93), metaluminous fea- ture (A/CNK = 0.80-1.00), enrichment in LILE (Rb, Ba, K) and HFSE (Th, U, Nb, Ta, Zr, and so on), weakly negative to positive Eu anomalies (δ Eu = 0.63-1.82., relatively low (87Sr/86Sr)i (0.70412.0.70543), and relatively high ε Nd(t) (3.14-3.52.. The Pitou syenogranite is charac- terized by high silicon content (SiO2.= 71.06%-76.2.%), relatively low alkalis (K2.+Na2. = 8.10%-9.80%), high percent K2./Na2. ratios (1.2.9}.94), metaluminous feature (A/CNK = 0.94-1.07), enrichment in Rb, Th (U), K, depletion in Ba, Nb, Ta, Sr, P , Zr, Ti, high ΣREE (av- eraging 451.03 μg/g), strong negative Eu anomalies (δ Eu = 0.2.-0.33), relatively high (87Sr/86Sr)i (0.70805-0.70912., and relatively low ε Nd( t ) (?5.35-?6.2.). The Tabei syenite and Pitou syenogranite both have the characteristics of A-type granites. The former is considered to be from the asthenosphere mantle, and the latter was the product of the crust-mantle mixture. They both were probably formed in a rifting setting.

The engineering of the electronic configurations of active sites,together with the production of more accessible active sites through heterostructure design,has been established as a forceful methodology for boosting water electrolysis ***,a facile approach is developed to fabricate well-dispersed MoO_(2. and WO_(2. nanoparticles with abundant heterointerfaces entrapped in N,P-doped carbon nanofibers(referred to as MoO_(2./WO_(2.@N,P-CNFs hereafter)as hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrocatalysts in alkaline and acidic *** spectroscopic analyses and theoretical findings manifest that the heterointerface formed by the work function modulation of MoO_(2./WO_(2. triggers the spontaneous electron redistribution from MoO_(2.to WO_(2. and a built-in electric field,which is essential to promote water adsorption,optimize the H-intermediate adsorption energy,result in the enhanced charge transfer efficiency,and ultimately increase the intrinsic HER ***,the intimate confinement of MoO_(2./WO_(2. heterostructures in the porous carbon substrate can restrain the active sites from unfavorable coarsening and detachment,thus ensuring facilitated HER kinetics and outstanding structural *** a result,MoO_(2./WO_(2.@N,P-CNFs exhibit superior catalytic HER performance in acidic and basic solutions,requiring 118 and 95 mV overpotentials to achieve 10 ma·cm^(−2.,respectively,surpassing a number of reported non-noble metal-based *** work provides guidelines for the rational design and construction of special metallic heterocomponents with optimized interfacial electronic structure for various electrochemical technologies.

This article brings forward a design and realization scheme of Web GIS in the Yellow River basin for the management of groundwater resources. The main goals are to manage and share data of massive-scale, to support the research of groundwater resources in the Yellow River basin. In this paper we point out the necessity and feasibility of building the distributed Web GIS for geographical research objects on a large scale. We put forward some solutions for the construction of this kind of system including a holistic deployment strategy in the Internet, a scheme of distributed data storage and management, a design of application structure based on three tires architecture by each province and how they collaborate with each other. It also illuminates how the application server works, and sets forth the relations among databases which work together in this system.

Developing highly efficient Pt-based methanol oxidation reaction（MOR） catalysts is pivotal for direct methanol fuel cells. Phase engineering of nanomaterials offers a promising strategy to improve their catalytic performance, yet achieving phase modulation in one-dimensional nanowires（NWs） remains a great challenge. Herein, we report a facile and one-pot synthesis approach for the crystal-phase-controlled Pt-Sn intermetallic nanowires（NWs）, realizing the crystal-phases regulation of face-centered cubic Pt3Sn intermetallic NWs（FCC-Pt3Sn INTNWs） and hexagonal close-packed PtSn intermetallic NWs（HCP-PtSn INTNWs） by adjusting the amounts of Sn precursors. Notably, the FCC-Pt3Sn INTNWs exhibit high mass and specific activities of6.4 A mg-1Pt and 11.8 m A cm–2. respectively, surpassing its counterparts, the HCP-PtSn INTNWs and commercial Pt/C *** a 10,000 s durability test, the FCC-Pt3Sn INTNWs still maintain a mass activity of 5.6 A mg-1Pt, which is 2..3 times higher than that of commercial Pt/C catalyst. This dramatic enhancement of MOR performance is primarily attributed to the phasecontrolled structure and accelerated removal of CO intermediates（CO*）. Theoretical calculations and CO stripping experiments demonstrate that the FCC-Pt3Sn INTNWs lower the energy barrier for converting CO* into COOH* by reducing CO* binding and enhancing OH adsorption, thus significantly improving the MOR activity, CO tolerance, and stability.

A telescope with a larger primary mirror can collect much more light and resolve objects much better than one with a smaller mirror, and so the larger version is always pursued by astronomers and astronomical technicians. Instead of using a monolithic primary mirror, more and more large telescopes, which are currently being planned or in construction, have adopted a segmented primary mirror design. Therefore, how to sense and phase such a primary mirror is a key issue for the future of extremely large optical/infrared telescopes. The Dispersed Fringe Sensor （DFS）, or Dispersed Hartmann Sensor （DHS）, is a non-contact method using broadband point light sources and it can estimate the piston by the two-directional spectrum formed by the transmissive grating＇s dispersion and lenslet array. Thus it can implement the combination of co-focusing by Shack-Hartmann technology and phasing by dispersed fringe sensing technologies such as the template-mapping method and the Hartmann method. We introduce the successful design, construction and alignment of our dis- persed Hartmann sensor together with its design principles and simulations. We also conduct many successful real phasing tests and phasing corrections in the visible waveband using our existing indoor segmented mirror optics platform. Finally, some conclusions are reached based on the test and correction of experimental results.

By using silkworms,Bombyx mori, fluorescent cocoon sex identification (FCSI) as an experimental material, direct fluorescence spectrometry of the cocoon surface indicates that the fluorescent color of silkworm cocoons is made up of two peaks of yellow and blue-purple fluorescence emission. The fluorescent difference between male and female cocoons is attributed to the differential absorption of yellow fluorescent substances by the midgut tissue of 5th instar female silkworms. Thin layer chromatography (TLC) and fluorescent spectra indicate that blue-purple fluorescent substances are composed of at least five blue-purple fluorescent pigments, and yellow fluorescent substances are made up of at least three. UV spectra and AlCl3 color reaction show that the three fluorescent yellow pigments are flavonoids or their glycosides. Silkworm FCSI is due to selective absorption or accumulation of the yellow fluorescent pigments by the posterior midgut cells of female 5th instar larvae. The cells of the FCSI silkworm midgut, especially the cylinder intestinal cells of the posterior midgut have a component which is a yellow fluorescent pigment-specific binding protein that may be vigorously expressed in the 5th instar larvae.

Pollen analysis is one of the best and possible approaches for the quantitative reconstruction of paleobotany and paleoclimate,and discrimination of human *** this paper,we reveal the characteristics of pollen assemblages in different agricultural units and their spatial distribution of major pollen taxa in the Anyang area where the human influences are serious,so as to get more information about climate change and human activities from pollen *** pollen assemblages of total 12. surface soil samples from different agricultural units (farm lands,vegetable plots,wastelands,cape-lands,woodlands,etc.) indicate that herbaceous pollen dominates the pollen assemblages with an average of 73%,mainly from Poaceae,Artemisia,Chenopodiaceae and Cruciferae;arboreal pollen percentages reach 18%,mainly from Pinus and Ulmus;shrub pollen and fern spores have very low *** general,pollen assemblages are consistent with vegetation composition,though some differences also exist in different agricultural *** farmlands and vegetable lands,Poaceae pollen has the highest percentages (averaging 2.%) compared to other agricultural units with dominant corn or wheat pollen,while in wastelands and woodlands,arboreal and Artemisia pollen percentages have higher values (averaging 2.% and 19% respectively).Cruciferae has the highest pollen percentages (70%) in *** pollen assemblages and PCoA can generally identify the vegetable plots,farmlands,woodlands,wastelands,and *** and Artemisia pollens mainly appear in the western part of Anyang,which is consistent with the parent plants;Poaceae pollen mainly exist in the eastern part with more farmlands;Chenopodiaceae pollen mainly appear in the urban areas and near major roads where human influences are stronger,Cruciferae pollen can mainly be found in the urban area and in the northwest part of Anyang where more vegetables are planted.
