The digital twin is the concept of transcending reality,which is the reverse feedback from the real physical space to the virtual digital *** hold great prospects for this emerging *** order to realize the upgrading of the digital twin industrial chain,it is urgent to introduce more modalities,such as vision,haptics,hearing and smell,into the virtual digital space,which assists physical entities and virtual objects in creating a closer ***,perceptual understanding and object recognition have become an urgent hot topic in the digital *** surface material classification schemes often achieve recognition through machine learning or deep learning in a single modality,ignoring the complementarity between multiple *** order to overcome this dilemma,we propose a multimodal fusion network in our article that combines two modalities,visual and haptic,for surface material *** the one hand,the network makes full use of the potential correlations between multiple modalities to deeply mine the modal semantics and complete the data *** the other hand,the network is extensible and can be used as a universal architecture to include more *** show that the constructed multimodal fusion network can achieve 99.42%classification accuracy while reducing complexity.

Recently,several rockfish species(genus Sebastes)have been reported to be *** determine whether an additional rockfish species produces sounds,passive acoustic recordings were analyzed from captive marbled rockfish(Sebastiscus marmoratus)during the non-spawning *** distinct sounds were identified based on frequency *** common characteristics among all sounds were low frequency(below 300 Hz)and rapidly dampened pulses consisting of 3–5 acoustic energy *** free-swimming conditions in the canvas tank,the fish produced voluntary sounds with lower frequencies than the disturbance sounds produced by individuals during *** types of sounds were identified in the disturbance context:one type consists of single or double pulses with two peak frequencies,and another type consists of a series of pulses with a single peak *** results suggest that specific-species and behavior-associated sounds are potentially useful in passive acoustical surveys to monitor rockfish populations and distributions remotely.

The skin mucus of fish acts as the first line of self-protection against pathogens in the aquatic environment and comprises a number of innate immune ***,the presence of the critical classical complement component C1q,which links the innate and adaptive immune systems of mammalians,has not been explored in a primitive actinopterygian *** this study,we report that C1q is present in the skin mucus of the Siberian sturgeon(Acipenser baerii).The skin mucus was able to inhibit the growth of Escherichia *** bacteriostatic activity of the skin mucus was reduced by heating and by pre-incubation with EDTA or mouse anti-human C1q *** also detected C1q protein in skin mucus using the western blot procedure and isolated a cDNA that encodes the Siberian sturgeon C1qC,which had 44.7–51.4%identity with C1qCs in teleosts and tetrapods.A phylogenetic analysis revealed that Siberian sturgeon C1qC lies at the root of the actinopterygian branch and is separate from the tetrapod *** C1qC transcript was expressed in many tissues as well as in *** data indicate that C1q is present in the skin mucus of the Siberian sturgeon to protect against water-borne bacteria,and the C1qC found in the sturgeon may represent the primitive form of teleost and tetrapod C1qCs.

As the field of autonomous driving evolves, real-time semantic segmentation has become a crucial part of computer vision tasks. However, most existing methods use lightweight convolution to reduce the computational effort, resulting in lower accuracy. To address this problem, we construct TBANet, a network with an encoder-decoder structure for efficient feature extraction. In the encoder part, the TBA module is designed to extract details and the ETBA module is used to learn semantic representations in a high-dimensional space. In the decoder part, we design a combination of multiple upsampling methods to aggregate features with less computational overhead. We validate the efficiency of TBANet on the Cityscapes dataset. It achieves 75.1% mean Intersection over Union(mIoU) with only 2.07 million parameters and can reach 90.3 Frames Per Second(FPS).

Contingent self-esteem captures the fragile nature of self-esteem and is often regarded as suboptimal to psychological ***-compassion is another important self-related concept assumed to promote mental health and ***,research on the relation of self-compassion to contingent self-esteem is *** studies were conducted to explore the role of selfcompassion,either as a personal characteristic or an induced mindset,in influencing the effects of contingent self-esteem on *** 1 recruited 256 Chinese college students(30.4%male,mean age=21.72 years)who filled out measures of contingent self-esteem,self-compassion,and *** results found that self-compassion moderated the effect of contingent self-esteem on *** Study 2,a sample of 90 Chinese college students(34%male,mean age=18.39 years)were randomly assigned to either a control or self-compassion *** completed baseline trait measures of contingent self-esteem,self-compassion,and ***,they were led to have a 12-min break(control group)or listen to a 12-min self-compassion audio(self-compassion group),followed by a social stress task and outcome *** results demonstrated the effectiveness of the brief self-compassion training and its moderating role in influencing the effects of contingent self-esteem on negative affects after the social stress *** research provides implications that to equip with a self-compassionate mindset could lower the risk of the impairment of well-being associated with elements of contingent selfesteem,which involves a fragile sense of *** may also provide insights into the development of an“optimal selfesteem”and the improvement of well-being.

The electro-receptive lateral line system appeared early in the evolutionary history of ***,members of the primitive Chondrostei group,are known for their electroreceptors(ampullae of Lorenzini)on the head,which are thought to be sensitive to weak electric fields in aquatic environments and involved in feeding,mating and ***,we report the results of a set of behavioral and electrophysiological experiments designed to determine the function and characteristics of the electrosense in cultured *** results showed Sibe-rian sturgeon(Acipenser baerii Brandt,1869)feeding striking at bio-electric fields produced by living feed-fish enclosed in a gel chamber and at the corrosion field produced by metal *** an electric stimulus that mim-ics the bio-electric fields produced by living prey,the relative discharge rate of electrosensory neurons in the dorsal octavolateralis nucleus(DON)was modulated by and phase-locked to sinusoidal stimulus and some units showed selectivity for dipolar direction in white sturgeon(Acipenser transmontanus Richardson,1836).This is the first study to provide the empirical evidence correlating with electrosensory behaviors and electrophysiolog-ical responses in cultured sturgeons,and suggesting that electrosense does play an innate role in feeding behav-ior of *** believe this will have important implications for protecting sturgeons in the wild.

Herb-drug interaction in the protective effect of Alpinia officinarum against gastric injury induced by indomethacin based on pharmacokinetic, tissue distribution and excretion studies in rats

Alpinia officinarum Hance of the Chinese traditional herb for the treatment of emesis, abdominal pain and diarrhea has been used to counteract gastric disease induced by indomethacin in rats without obvious side effects. However, the role of herb-drug interaction between indomethacin and A. officinarum based on pharmacokinetic, tissue distribution and excretion still remains unknown. In this study, an ultra-fast liquid-tandem mass spectrometry(UFLC-MS/MS) method was developed for simultaneous determination of indomethacin and its three metabolites, O-desmethylindomethacin(ODI), deschlorobenzoylindomethacin(NDI) and indomethacin acyl-b-D-glucuronide(IDAbG) by oral administration of indomethacin solution with and without the ethanolic extract of A. officinarum and applied to comparative pharmacokinetic, tissue distribution and excretion studies. Our results clarified that oral administration of A. officinarum produced significant alterations in the pharmacokinetic parameters of indomethacin. And the pharmacokinetic interaction between indomethacin and A. officinarum reduced the systemic exposure of indomethacin and increased its elimination. Tissue distribution results demonstrated that co-administration of A. Officinarum could not reduce the accumulation of indomethacin in the target tissue of the stomach, but could accelerate the excretions of indomethacin and its three metabolites including ODI, NDI and IDAb G in the bile and feces of rats in the excretion ***, A. Officinarum might have a gastrointestinal protective effect through the interaction role with indomethacin based on the pharmacokinetics and excretion in rats.
