Abnormal tumor microenvironment imposes barriers to tumor penetration of nanomedicine,which remains a major challenge for effective ***,we present disulfide-based nanoparticles that actively penetrate deep tumors in vivo through a thiol-mediated transportation *** achieve active tumor accumulation in vivo,disulfide-based nanoparticles are modified with folic acid units(FA-DBNPs).It is gratifying that FA-DBNPs still enter cells via the thiol-mediated pathway,which facilitates transcellular transportation and tumor penetration both in vitro and in ***,FA-DBNPs exhibit GSH concentration-dependent depolymerization characterization,indicating that the GSH level in tumor tissues regulates the penetration depth of *** from these advantages,FA-DBNPs showed potent anti-tumor activity in mouse models,leading to the significant regression of *** current study lays a foundation that thiol-mediated transportation is a promising approach in nanomedicine design for solid tumor therapy.

Biopolymers,the potential flexoelectric materials,are environment-friendly,degradable,lightweight,cost-effective,and possess remarkable processing properties catering to the requirements of advanced ***,the flexoelectric coefficient of biopolymers is normally much weaker than that of ceramic materials,limiting their potential applications for designing high-performance green electromechanical coupling *** improve the flexoelectric response in biopolymers,we composited barium titanate(BTO)with 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl-oxidized cellulose nanofibrils(TOCNF)to enhance the flexoelectric response of *** to the high permittivity and flexoelectric effect of BTO,the relative dielectric constant and flexoelectric coefficient of 33.3 wt%BTO-TOCNF films reached 30.94@1 kHz and 50.05±1.88 nC/m@1 Hz,which were almost 172 times and 27 times higher than those of TOCNF,*** composite thin film contains high dielectric constant and flexoelectric coefficient,as well as excellent *** study provided a straightforward and efficient method for improving the flexoelectric effect of biopolymers,and demonstrated its great potential applications in flexoelectric-based devices.

B_(4)C–TiB_(2)is an advanced electrically conductive ceramic with excellent mechanical and electrical discharge machinable *** is challenging and rewarding to achieve highly conductive and hard B_(4)C–TiB_(2)composites at a minimum content of conductive TiB2 that has inferior hardness but double specific gravity of the B_(4)C matrix.A novel strategy was used to construct conductive networks in B_(4)C‒15 vol%TiB2 composite ceramics with B_(4)C,TiC,and amorphous B as raw materials by a two-step spark plasma sintering *** influences of particle size matching between B_(4)C and TiC on the conducting of the strategy and the microstructure were discussed based on the selective matrix grain growth *** mechanical and electrical properties were also systematically *** B_(4)C–15 vol%TiB2 composite ceramic prepared from 10.29µm B_(4)C and 0.05µm TiC powders exhibited a perfect three-dimensional interconnected conductive network with a maximum electrical conductivity of 4.25×10^(4)S/m,together with excellent mechanical properties including flexural strength,Vickers hardness,and fracture toughness of 691±58 MPa,30.30±0.61 GPa,and 5.75±0.32 MPa·m^(1/2),respectively,while the composite obtained from 3.12µm B_(4)C and 0.8µm TiC powders had the best mechanical properties including flexural strength,Vickers hardness,and fracture toughness of 827±35 MPa,32.01±0.51 GPa,and 6.45±0.22 MPa·m^(1/2),together with a decent electrical conductivity of 0.65×10^(4)S/m.

The effect of undercooling DT and the interface energy anisotropy parameter e4 on the shape of the equiaxed dendritic tip has been investigated by using a quantitative phase-field model for solidification of binary *** was found that the tip radius r increases and the tip shape amplitude coefficient A4 decreases with the increase of the fitting range for all *** dendrite tip shape selection parameter sdecreases and then stabilizes with the increase of the fitting range,and sincreases with the increase of *** relationship between sand e4 follows a power-law function sµea 4,and a is independent of DT but dependent on the fitting *** results demonstrate that the predicted sis consistent with the curve of microscopic solvability theory(MST)for e4<0.02,and sobtained from our phase-field simulations is sensitive to the undercooling when e4 is fixed.

Electrical tree degradation is one of the main causes of insulation failure in high-frequency *** tree degradation is studied on pure epoxy resin(EP)and MgO/EP composites at frequencies ranging from 50 Hz to 130 *** results show that the tree initiation voltage of EP decreases,while the growth rate and the expansion coefficient increase with ***,the bubble phenomenon at high frequencies in EP composites is *** with trap distribution character-istics within the material,the intrinsic mechanism of epoxy composites to inhibit the growth of the electrical tree at different frequencies is *** can be concluded that more deep traps and blocking effect are introduced by doping nano-MgO into EP bulks,which can improve the electrical tree resistance performance of EP composites in a wide frequency range.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD^(+))/reduced NAD^(+)(NADH)and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADP^(+))/reduced NADP^(+)(NADPH)are essential metabolites involved in multiple metabolic pathways and cellular ***^(+)and NADH redox couple plays a vital role in catabolic redox reactions,while NADPH is crucial for cellular anabolism and antioxidant *** NAD(H)and NADP(H)homeostasis is crucial for normal physiological activity and is tightly regulated through various mechanisms,such as biosynthesis,consumption,recycling,and conversion between NAD(H)and NADP(H).The conversions between NAD(H)and NADP(H)are controlled by NAD kinases(NADKs)and NADP(H)phosphatases[specifically,metazoan SpoT homolog-1(MESH1)and nocturnin(NOCT)].NADKs facilitate the synthesis of NADP^(+)from NAD^(+),while MESH1 and NOCT convert NADP(H)into NAD(H).In this review,we summarize the physiological roles of NAD(H)and NADP(H)and discuss the regulatory mechanisms governing NAD(H)and NADP(H)homeostasis in three key aspects:the transcriptional and posttranslational regulation of NADKs,the role of MESH1 and NOCT in maintaining NAD(H)and NADP(H)homeostasis,and the influence of the circadian clock on NAD(H)and NADP(H)*** conclusion,NADKs,MESH1,and NOCT are integral to various cellular processes,regulating NAD(H)and NADP(H)*** of these enzymes results in various human diseases,such as cancers and metabolic ***,strategies aiming to restore NAD(H)and NADP(H)homeostasis hold promise as novel therapeutic approaches for these diseases.

The dried roots of Aconitum pendulum Busch are the major source of a commonly used Tibetan medicine,namely Tiebangchui(TBC)(Fig.S1).However,raw TBC contains a large amount of high toxic diester-diterpenoid alkaloids(DDAs),and the improper use would cause arrhythmia,irreversible cardiovascular damages,and even death.“Paozhi”,an appropriate processing method,is the essential prerequisite for the safe clinical application of ***-decocting and sand-frying are commonly used processing methods for toxicity attenuation and efficacy preservation for TBC.
