To meet the demand for high-performance LiCoO_(2) batteries,it is necessary to overcome challenges such as interface degradation and rapid capacity degradation caused by changes in bulk structure,especially under deep delithiation and high temperature *** ion conductive coating layer of Li_(3)PO_(4) has been directly modified on the surface of LiCoO_(2) particles using magnetron sputtering method,significantly improving the lithium storage performance of LiCoO_(2)@Li_(3)PO_(4) *** to pure LiCoO_(2),the modified LiCoO_(2) sample exhibits obviously better cycle life and high-temperature ***,under the conditions of 2 and 1 C,the LiCoO_(2)@Li_(3)PO_(4) electrode delivers excellent cycling performance at high voltage of 4.5 V,with capacity retention rates of 89.7%and 75.7%at room temperature and high temperature of 45℃,being far greater than those of 12.3%and 29.1%for bare LiCoO_(2) *** is discovered that the Li_(3)PO_(4) coating layer not only effectively enhances interface compatibility and suppresses the irreversible phase transition of LiCoO_(2),but also further improves the Li^(+)transport kinetics and significantly reduces battery polarization,ultimately enabling the modified LiCoO_(2) electrode to exhibit excellent lithium storage performance and thermal safety characteristics under high voltage ***,such effective modified strategy can undoubtedly provide an important academic inspiration for LiCoO_(2) implication.

Smog chamber experiments were performed to investigate the composition of products formed from photooxidation of aromatic hydrocarbon ethylbenzene. Vacuum ultraviolet photoionization mass spectrometer and aerosol time-of-flight mass spectrometer were used to measure the products in the gas and particle phases in real-time. Experimental results demonstrated that ethylphenol, methylglyoxal, phenol, benzaldehyde, and 2-ethylfurane were the predominant photooxidation products in both the gas and particle phases. However, there were some differences between detected gas phase products and those of particle phase, for example, 2-ethylfurane, ethylglyoxylic acid, nitroethylbenzene, 3,4-dioxopentanal and ethyl-nitrophenol were only existing in the particle-phase. The possible reaction mechanisms leading to these products were also discussed and proposed.

Novel evidence from Taxus fuana forests for niche-neutral process assembling community

Background:Understanding the mechanisms underlying community assembly is helpful for conservation and restoration of communities, particularly those that contain rare and endangered species like Taxus fuana, which are endemic to the Western Himalayas. The niche (limiting similarity) vs. neutral (randomness) assembly of the *** forest community in Gyirong County, Tibet, China, was investigated. The net relatedness index (NRI) was calculated using a phylogenetic tree. The phylogenetic characteristics of the community and its relationships with environment were ***:The value of the mean NRI at the community level was less than-1.96, indicating that the phylogenetic structure was overdispersed;whereas majority of the NRIs at the tree, shrub, and herb layers were within-1.96 to1.96, indicating random dispersion. Environmental factors accounted for 44.38%, 46.52%, 24.04%, and 14.07%of the variation at the community level, tree, shrub, and herb layer, respectively. The phylogenetic structure at the community level and tree layer were significantly influenced by both topographic and soil factors, while shrub and herb layers tended to be affected by a single environmental ***:Community assembly of the T. fuana forest was simultaneously affected by niche and neutral processes, and their variations were closely related to the environment. Neutral process dominated community assembly in the shrub and herb layers. However, the interaction of limiting similarity and randomness played a dominant role at the community level and tree layer;and contributed to maintenance of biodiversity stability. The synergy of multiple environmental factors had a more obvious influence on community assembly than individual environmental factors, especially at the community level. These findings would help to understand the conservation of rare and endangered tree species, such as T. fuana, in the native community;and highlight the importance of random and non-random

IDEAL PLANT ARCHITECTURE1(IPA1)is a pivotal gene controlling plant architecture and grain ***,little is known about the effects of Triticum aestivum SQUAMOSA PROMOTER‐BINDING‐LIKE 14(TaSPL14),an IPA1 ortholog in wheat,on balancing yield traits and its regulatory mechanism in wheat(*** L.).Here,we determined that the *** GRAIN WIDTH2(TaGW2)‐TaSPL14 module influences the balance between tiller number and grain weight in *** of TaSPL14 resulted in a reduced tiller number and increased grain weight,whereas its knockout had the opposite effect,indicating that TaSPL14 negatively regulates tillering while positively regulating grain *** further identified TaGW2 as a novel interacting protein of TaSPL14 and confirmed its ability to mediate the ubiquitination and degradation of *** on our genetic evidence,TaGW2 acts as a positive regulator of tiller number,in addition to its known role as a negative regulator of grain weight,which is opposite to ***,combinations of TaSPL14‐7A and TaGW2‐6A haplotypes exhibit significantly additive effects on tiller number and grain weight in wheat *** findings provide insight into how the TaGW2‐TaSPL14 module regulates the trade‐off between tiller number and grain weight and its potential application in improving wheat yield.

Precipitation of α-phase in massive and feathery microstructures was studied during aging in the single α field. It was found that the α-phase mainly precipitated along the γ-plate interfaces as laths in the feathery structure, while it nucleated at various sites in the massive structure in the form of particles and dominantly as plates. Precipitation of α-plates in the massive structure occurred by the difFusional ledge mechanism. The γm→α reaction proceeded by the growth of previously nucleated α-precipitates, and chiefly by the development of new α-plates

The gas-phase organic compounds resulting from OH-initiated photooxidation of isoprene have been investigated on-line by VUV photoiortization mass spectrometry based on synchrotron radiation for the first time. The photoionization efficiency curves of the corresponding gaseous products as well as the chosen standards have been deduced by gating the interested peaks in the photoionization mass spectra while scanning the photon energy simultaneously, which permits the identification of the pivotal gaseous products of the photooxidation of isoprene, such as formaldehyde （10.84 eV）, formic acid （11.38 eV）, acetone （9.68 eV）, glyoxal （9.84 eV）, acetic acid （10.75 eV）, methacrolein （9.91 eV）, and methyl vinyl ketone （9.66 eV）. Proposed reaction mechanisms leading to the formation of these key products were discussed, which were completely consistent with the previous works of different groups. The capability of synchrotron radiation photoionization mass spectrometry to directly identify the chemical composition of the gaseous products in a simulation chamber has been demonstrated, and its potential application in related studies of atmospheric oxidation of ambient volatile organic compounds is anticipated.

The layout features of unit shafting and their effects on vibration, as well as evaluation criteria, were introduced for a 1000-MW ultra-supercritical turbine-generator unit with Simens technology. Based on vibration diagnosis and treatment for more than 10 units, some typical vibration faults were summarized, such as the vibration fluctuation of the high pressure (HP) rotor, abnormal vibration increases of the No.3 bearing pedestal and large vibration of the exciter rotor during its critical speed range. The vibration characteristics and the causes of faults and countermeasures were analyzed. Three applications for further illustration were given. The vibration fault identification method, control measures, and applications can provide a reference for vibration diagnoses and treatment of same type units.
