Experimental measurement of growth patterns on fossil corals:Secular variation in ancient Earth-Sun distances

In recent years,much attention has been given to the increase in the Earth-Sun distance,with the modern rate reported as 5-15 m/cy on the basis of astronomical ***,traditional methods cannot measure the ancient leaving rates,so a myriad of research attempting to provide explanations were met with unmatched *** this paper we consider that the growth patterns on fossils could reflect the ancient Earth-Sun *** mechanical analysis of both the Earth-Sun and Earth-Moon systems,these patterns confirmed an increase in the Earth-Sun *** a large number of well-preserved specimens and new technology available,both the modern and ancient leaving rates could be measured with high precision,and it was found that the Earth has been leaving the Sun over the past 0.53 billion *** Earth's semi-major axis was 14. million kilometers at the beginning of the Phanerozoic Eon,equating to 97.6% of its current *** modern leaving rates are 5-14.m/cy,whereas the ancient rates were much *** results indicate a special expansion with an average expansion coefficient of 0.57H0 and deceleration in the form of Hubble *** the basis of experimental results,the Earth's semi-major axis could be represented by a simple formula that matches fossil measurements.

DTD1 modulates synaptic efficacy by maintaining D-serine and D-aspartate homeostasis

D-serine and D-aspartate are involved in N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor(NMDAR)-related physiological and pathological processes. Daminoacyl-tRNA deacylase 1(DTD1) may biochemically contribute to D-serine or D-aspartate production. However, it is unclear thus far whether DTD1 regulates D-serine or D-aspartate content in neurobiological processes. In the present research, we found that DTD1 was essential to maintain the D-serine or D-aspartate homeostasis, which was consistent with the phenomenon that DTD1-deficiency resulted in changes in the quantity changes of functional NMDAR subunits in postsynaptic compartments. Moreover, DTD1 played a considerable role in regulating dendritic morphology and synaptic structure. As a consequence, DTD1 affected neurobiological events, including the synaptic strength of the CA3-to-CA1 circuit, dendritic spine density of hippocampal pyramidal neurons, and behavioral performance of mice in the Morris water maze. These findings highlight the important role of DTD1 in synaptic transmission, neuronal morphology, and spatial learning and memory and suggest an undisclosed mechanism of DTD1 that participates the regulation of D-serine or D-aspartate homeostasis in hippocampal neurons.

The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)has the largest aperture and a 19-beam L-band receiver,making it powerful for investigating the neutral hydrogen atomic gas(HI)in the *** present HiFAST(https://***),a dedicated,modular,and self-contained calibration and imaging pipeline for processing the H?data of *** pipeline consists of frequency-dependent noise diode calibration,baseline fitting,standing wave removal using an FFT-based method,flux density calibration,stray radiation correction,and gridding to produce data *** modules can be combined as needed to process the data from most FAST observation modes:tracking,drift scanning,On-The-Fly mapping,and most of their *** HiFAST,the root-mean-square(RMS)noises of the calibrated spectra from all 19 beams were only slightly(~5%)higher than the theoretical *** results for the extended source M33 and the point sources are consistent with the results from *** moment maps(0,1 and 2.of M33 agree well with the results from the Arecibo Galaxy Environment Survey(AGES)with a fractional difference of less than 10%.For a common sample of 2.1 sources with signal-to-noise ratio S/N>10 from the Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA(ALFALFA)survey,the mean value of fractional difference in the integrated flux density,Sint,between the two datasets is approximately 0.005%,with a dispersion of 15.4..Further checks on the integrated flux density of 2. sources with seven observations indicate that the variance in the flux density of the source with luminous objects(Sint>2.5 Jy km s-1)is less than 5%.Our tests suggest that the FAST telescope,with the efficient,precise,and user-friendly pipeline HiFAST,will yield numerous significant scientific findings in the investigation of the H?in the universe.

Integrase strand transfer inhibitors(INSTIs)have emerged as the first‐line choice for treating human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)infection due to their superior efficacy and ***,the impact of INSTIs on the development of neuropsychiatric conditions in people living with HIV(PLWH)is not fully understood due to limited *** this study,we conducted a cross‐sectional examination of PLWH receiving antiretroviral therapy,with a specific focus on HIV‐positive men who have sex with men(MSM)on INSTI‐based regimens(n=61)and efavirenz(EFV)‐based regimens(n=2.).Participants underwent comprehensive neuropsychiatric evaluations and multimodal magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)scans,including T1‐weighted images and resting‐state functional *** to the EFV group,the INSTI group exhibited primarily reduced gray matter volume(GMV)in the right superior parietal gyrus,higher regional homogeneity(ReHo)in the left postcentral gyrus,lower ReHo in the right orbital part of the inferior frontal gyrus,and increased voxel‐wise functional connectivity for the seed region in the left inferior temporal gyrus with clusters in the right ***,the analysis revealed a main effect of antiretroviral drugs on GMV changes,but no main effect of neuropsychiatric disorders or their *** repeated analysis of participants who did not switch regimens confirmed the GMV changes in the INSTI group,validating the initial *** study demonstrated gray matter atrophy and functional brain changes in PLWH on INSTI‐based regimens compared to those on EFV‐based *** neuroimaging results provide valuable insights into the characteristics of brain network modifications in PLWH receiving INSTI‐based regimens。

The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope（FAST） has the largest aperture and a 19-beam L-band receiver,making it powerful for investigating the neutral hydrogen atomic gas（H?） in the *** present HiFAST（https://***）,a dedicated,modular,and self-contained calibration and imaging pipeline for processing the H?data of *** pipeline consists of frequency-dependent noise diode calibration,baseline fitting,standing wave removal using an FFT-based method,flux density calibration,stray radiation correction,and gridding to produce data *** modules can be combined as needed to process the data from most FAST observation modes:tracking,drift scanning,On-The-Fly mapping,and most of their *** HiFAST,the root-mean-square（RMS） noises of the calibrated spectra from all 19 beams were only slightly（～5%） higher than the theoretical *** results for the extended source M33 and the point sources are consistent with the results from *** moment maps（0,1 and 2. of M33 agree well with the results from the Arecibo Galaxy Environment Survey（AGES） with a fractional difference of less than 10%.For a common sample of 2.1 sources with signal-to-noise ratio S/N>10 from the Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA（ALFALFA） survey,the mean value of fractional difference in the integrated flux density,Sint,between the two datasets is approximately 0.005%,with a dispersion of 15.4..Further checks on the integrated flux density of 2. sources with seven observations indicate that the variance in the flux density of the source with luminous objects(Sint>2.5 Jy km s-1) is less than 5%.Our tests suggest that the FAST telescope,with the efficient,precise,and user-friendly pipeline HiFAST,will yield numerous significant scientific findings in the investigation of the H? in the universe.
