Interactions between hotspots and the Southwest Indian Ridge during the last 90 Ma:Implications on the formation of oceanic plateaus and intra-plate seamounts

This study investigates the relationship between the hotspot-ridge interaction and the formation of oceanic plateaus and seamounts in the Southwest Indian *** first calculated the relative distance between the Southwest Indian Ridge (SWIR) and relevant hotspots on the basis of models of plate reconstruction,and then calculated the corresponding excess magmatic anomalies of the hotspots on the basis of residual bathymetry and Airy *** results reveal that the activities of the Marion hotspot can be divided into three main phases:interaction with the paleo-Rodrigues triple junction (73.6-68.5 Ma),interaction with the SWIR (68.5-4..7 Ma),and intra-plate volcanism (4..7-0 Ma).These three phases correspond to the formation of the eastern,central,and western parts of the Del Cano Rise,*** magnitude and apparent periodicity of the magmatic volume flux of the Marion hotspot appear to be dominated by the hotspot-ridge *** periodicity of the Marion hotspot is about 25 Ma,which is much longer than that of the Hawaii and Iceland hotspots (about 15 Ma).

Objective Tissue uptake and distribution of nano-/microplastics was studied at a single high dose by gavage in *** Fluorescent microspheres(100 nm,3μm,and 10μm)were given once at a dose of 200 mg/(kg∙body weight).The fluorescence intensity(FI)in observed organs was measured using the IVIS Spectrum at 0.5,1,2,and 4.h after *** was performed to corroborate these *** In the 100 nm group,the FI of the stomach and small intestine were highest at 0.5 h,and the FI of the large intestine,excrement,lung,kidney,liver,and skeletal muscles were highest at 4.h compared with the control group(P5).In the 3μm group,the FI only increased in the lung at 2 h(P5).In the 10μm group,the FI increased in the large intestine and excrement at 2 h,and in the kidney at 4.h(P5).The presence of nano-/microplastics in tissues was further verified by *** peak time of nanoplastic absorption in blood was *** Nanoplastics translocated rapidly to observed organs/tissues through blood circulation;however,only small amounts of MPs could penetrate the organs.

The Yangtze River is the mother river of *** promote the aquatic ecosystem protection of the great river,the Project of Yangtze Fisheries Resources and Environment Investigation(2017-2021)supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs,*** carried out by 24.institutes and universities that located in the Yangtze River basin surveys the status of(1)fish species composition and spatial distribution,(2)current fish abundance,(3)endangered fishes,(4.Yangtze finless porpoise,(5)aquatic eco-environments,(6)water-level fluctuation areas,(7)capture fisheries and recreational fisheries of the Yangtze River mainstream and 10 of its main tributaries,including Yalong River,Heng River,Min River(including Dadu River),Chishui River,Tuo River,Jialing River,Wu River,Han River,Dongting Lake and Poyang *** results showed that there were 4.3 fish species(belonging to 163 genus,37 families,and 18 orders)before 2017,but only 323 fish species(including 15 new recorded exotic species)were recorded in the project of *** them,Cyprinus carpio,Carassius auratus,Hypophthalmichthys molitrix,Pelteobagrus fulvidraco,Coilia brachygnathus,Silurus asotus,Saurogobio dabryi,Ctenopharyngodon idellus,Pelteobagrus nitidus,Hemiculter leucisculus,Siniperca chuatsi,Coreius heterodon,Culter alburnus,Parabramis pekinensis,and Aristichthys nobilis were the dominant species across the whole Yangtze River *** is estimated that there were 886 million individuals weighing 124.8 million kg,merely equivalent to 27.3%of the resources in 1950s,30.9%of the resources in 1960s,or 58.7%of the resources in *** the new list of protected fishes that recorded in the Yangtze River system,only 15 of 29 were collected in this project of *** gladius has been affirmed to be Extinct by International Union for Conservation of Nature(IUCN).The wild individuals of Tenualosa reevesii and Luciobrama macrocephalus have disappeared for many years and maybe have been extinct

系统研究时效温度对激光粉末床熔融成形Al-Mn-Mg-Sc-Zr合金显微组织及力学性能的影响。结果表明,成形态合金组织致密且无裂纹,平均晶粒尺寸为3.51μm,屈服强度为(54.±3)MPa。经300℃时效后,合金组织中析出大量尺寸为2~3 nm且与基体共格的Al3Sc纳米颗粒。时效样品的屈服强度提升至(616±4.MPa,这得益于合金中的析出强化、固溶强化和晶界强化。当时效温度超过300℃时,部分Mn和Zr从固溶体中析出,形成Al6Mn和Al3(Sc,Zr)相。经500℃时效后,合金中Al6Mn相和Al3(Sc,Zr)相分别粗化至约600和30nm。此,合金的屈服强度下降至(372±3) MPa。

Photochemical properties and source of pollutants during continuous pollution episodes in Beijing, October, 2011

Beijing suffered from serious air pollution in October, 2011 with the occurrence of three continuous episodes. Here we analyze the pollution status of particulate matter, the relationship between the gaseous pollutants, physical and chemical properties of single particles, and the profile of water-soluble ions in PM2.5 during the three episodes. Regional and photochemically aged air masses, which were characterized as having high values of O3 and SO2, were hypothesized to have played a dominant role in the first episode. After mixing local air masses with freshly-emitted primary pollutants, the concentration of NOx continued to increase and the size of SO4.-, NO3- and NH4. in the particle population continued to become smaller. The amount of elemental carbon-rich and organic carbonrich particles in the scaled single particles （0.2-2 μm） and water-soluble K＋ in PM2.s also increased in the episodes. All the available information suggests that the biomass or fuel burning sources in or around Beijing may have had a huge impact on the last two episodes.

CoMnMgAl Hydrotalcite-like Compounds and their Complex Oxides: Facile Synthesis and FCC SO_x Removal

The X-CoMnMgAl hydrotalcite-like precursors(X-LDHs) were first synthesized by the coprecipitation method using Cl-, CO32-, NO3- and SO4.- as the corresponding guest anions, which were further used to prepare X-CoMnMgAl complex oxides(X-LDOs) through calcination. The structure and the surface morphology of the as-prepared samples were characterized by FT–IR, XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption and SEM. These as-prepared X-LDOs could act as sulfur-transfer catalysts for desulfurization. The activity of SOx adsorption and regeneration was evaluated via a self-assembled fixed-bed reactor simulating the conditions found in the fluid catalytic cracking units. These four types of sulfur-transfer catalysts with the same phase but different structure displayed the following order of desulfurization efficiency: CO3-LDO >Cl-LDO >NO3-LDO > SO4.LDO.
