Planetary nebulae （PNe） are good tracers of the stellar populations, chemical composition and dynamics of their host galaxies. This paper reports the discovery of new PNe in the outskirts of the Andromeda Galaxy （M31） with the Guoshoujing Telescope （GSJT, formerly named the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope-LAMOST） during its early commissioning phase. In total, 36 candidates selected from SDSS photometry are confirmed in terms of their PN nature, including 17 new discoveries and another 19 previously known emission line objects. Their positions, spectra, radial velocities and m5007 magnitudes are presented. We discuss the potential for detecting more PNe in M 31 with GSJT＇s multi-object spectroscopy and the related applications in studies of the dynamics and chemistry of M 31 and its assemblage history.

Human embryonic stem（hES）cells have the capability of unlimited undifferentiated proliferation,yet maintain the potential to form perhaps any cell type in the *** on the high efficiency of theEpstein-Barr virus-based episomal vector in introducing exogenous genes of interest into mammalian cells,we applied this system to hES cells,expecting that this would resolve the problem of poor transfectionefficiency existing in current hES cell ***,the first step was to establish EBNAl-positivehES *** the Fugene 6 transfection reagent,we transfected hES cells with the EBNA1 expressionvector and subsequently generated hES cell clones that stably expressed EBNA1 under drug *** were confirmed to express EBNA1 mRNA by RT-PCR and to express EBNA1 protein by ***,luciferase reporter gene analysis was performed on the EBNA1 clones and revealedthat the expressed EBNA1 protein was *** the EBNA 1-positive cells were injected into severecombined immunodeficient（SCID）mice,they formed teratoma tissues containing all tl'ee embryonic germlayers and EBNAI protein was detected in these teratoma tissues by Western *** the results showthat we have successfully created stable EBNAI-hES cells,thus laying a good foundation for further research.

BACKGROUND Acute-on-chronic liver disease(AoCLD)accounts for the majority of patients hospitalized in the Department of Hepatology or Infectious *** To explore the characterization of AoCLD to provide theoretical guidance for the accurate diagnosis and prognosis of *** Patients with AoCLD from the chinese Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure(ACLF)study cohort were included in this *** clinical characteristics and outcomes,and the 90-d survival rate associated with each clinical type of AoCLD were analyzed,using the Kaplan-Meier method and the log-rank *** A total of 3375 patients with AoCLD were enrolled,including 1679(49.7%)patients with liver cirrhosis acute decompensation(LC-AD),850(2..2.)patients with ACLF,577(17.1%)patients with chronic hepatitis acute exacer-bation(CHAE),and 2.9(8.0%)patients with liver cirrhosis active phase(LC-A).The most common cause of chronic liver disease(CLD)was HBV infection(71.4%).The most common precipitants of AoCLD was bacterial infection(2..8%).The 90-d mortality rates of each clinical subtype of AoCLD were 43.4%(2.2.535)for type-C ACLF,36.0%(36/100)for type-B ACLF,2..0%(58/2.5)for type-A ACLF,9.0%(151/1679)for LC-AD,3.0%(8/2.9)for LC-A,and 1.2.(7/577)for *** HBV infection is the main cause of CLD,and bacterial infection is the main precipitant of *** most common clinical type of AoCLD is *** diagnosis and timely intervention are needed to reduce the mortality of patients with LC-AD or ACLF.

We present preliminary analyses of spectra of quasar candidates in two Guoshoujing Telescope （GSJT, formerly named the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope - LAMOST） test fields near M 31 where one is close to the optical center of the disk and the other is towards the northeastern outskirts of the halo, obtained during the early stage of the GSJT commissioning in the last season of 2.09. Both fields contain background low-redshift quasar candidates selected from the SDSS photometry. In total, 14 new quasars with redshifts up to 2.and i magnitudes between 16.7 and 19.2. are discovered, including 7 within the 2.5° central region of M 31. We briefly discuss the potential applications of these newly discovered bright quasars.

Owing to their exceptional properties, high-entropy alloys(HEAs) and high-entropy materials have emerged as promising research areas and shown diverse applications. Here,the recent advances in the field are comprehensively reviewed,organized into five sections. The first section introduces the background of HEAs, covering their definition, significance,application prospects, basic properties, design principles, and microstructure. The subsequent section focuses on cutting-edge high-entropy structural materials, highlighting developments such as nanostructured alloys, grain boundary engineering,eutectic systems, cryogenic alloys, thin films, micro-nano-lattice structures, additive manufacturing, high entropy metallic glasses, nano-precipitate strengthened alloys, composition modulation, alloy fibers, and refractory systems. In the following section, the emphasis shifts to functional materials, exploring HEAs as catalysts, magneto-caloric materials, corrosion-resistant alloys, radiation-resistant alloys, hydrogen storage systems, and materials for biomedicine. Additionally, the review encompasses functional high-entropy materials outside the realm of alloys, including thermoelectric, quantum dots, nanooxide catalysts, energy storage materials, negative thermal expansion ceramics,and high-entropy wave absorption materials. The paper concludes with an outlook, discussing future directions and potential growth areas in the field. Through this comprehensive review,researchers, engineers, and scientists may gain valuable insights into the recent progress and opportunities for further exploration in the exciting domains of high-entropy alloys and functional materials.

Comprehensive Assessment of Eco-environment Vulnerability in Hebei Province Based on ArcGIS

[Objective] This study aimed to assess the vulnerability of ecological environment in Hebei Province.[Method] Based on ArcGIS,by using the dominant factor and maximum limits factor method,we established the sensitivity-reality indicator system and assessment model of the eco-environment vulnerability in Hebei Province to quantitatively evaluate its eco-environment vulnerability,and analyzed its spatial distribution.[Result] The status quo of environmental degradation was inconsistent with the sensitivity of eco-environment in Hebei *** area of severely vulnerable region accounted for only 4.1% of total area in Hebei Province,mainly distributed in nine counties or districts of Baxia region,zhangjiakou,northwestern Hebei,which was covered with mountains and basins,showing bands,which resulted from the vulnerability of soil erosion and land *** addition,the moderately vulnerable region made up 38.4%,having the largest proportion,and mainly distributed in the mountain and basin region in northwestern Hebei,Yanshan mountain and the most regions of Taihang mountain,due to the vulnerability of soil *** the same time,there were also large patches of moderately vulnerable region in Bashang and Baxia of zhangjiakou,owning to the vulnerability of land ***,most plains were mildly vulnerable and slightly vulnerable regions,and their areas accounted for 2..1% and 32.4% respectively of total area.[Conclusion] The research could provide scientific references for safeguarding the ecological security and main functional district planing of Hebei Province.

四川省的耕地粮食安全保障问题及对策

四川省的耕地和粮食安全问题,已初露端倪。本文从四川省的耕地资源状况分析,看出四川省的人均耕地仅有0 048hm2.低于联合国粮农组织提出的人均耕地警戒线(0 05hm2.;四川省的耕地平均每年减少3 68万hm2.至2.02.已累计减少80 9万hm2.耕地数量不容乐观。对四川省耕地质量状况,指出有2.6 7万hm2.低产田土,占四川省总耕地面积的51%。这类耕地类型的土壤质量系数都在0 70以下,属于4～9等的中低质量等级耕地,耕地质量是较差的。四川省的粮食状况,近年来人均粮食占有量也从439 0kg,下降到386 5kg。有较大的下降趋势,从四川省的粮食供需状况分析看出,有粮食供需不平衡的状况。统计分析表明,四川省的粮食生产主要取决于耕地的粮食播种面积。研究结果看出:四川省的粮食供需平衡其总产量应当最少保持在3500万t以上。据此,认为四川省的耕地粮食安全警戒线是确保每年不少于666 7万hm2.粮食播种面积,在此基础上提出了四川省的耕地粮食安全保障对策的几点建议。
