Background Prenatal bisphenol exposure has been reported to be associated with lower birth weight and obesity-related indicators in early *** findings warrant an investigation of the relationship between prenatal bisphenol exposure and the dynamic growth of *** study aimed to evaluate the relationship of maternal bisphenol concentration in urine with the body mass index(BMI)growth trajectory of children aged up to two years and to identify the critical exposure *** A total of 82. mother–offspring pairs were recruited from Wuhan Children’s Hospital between November 2.13 and March *** urine samples collected during the first,second,and third trimesters were analyzed for bisphenol A(BPA),bisphenol S,and bisphenol F(BPF)*** of length and weight were taken at 0,1,3,6,8,12.18,and 2. ***'s BMI was standardized using the World Health Organization reference,and group-based trajectory modeling was used to identify BMI growth *** associations between prenatal bisphenol exposure and BMI growth trajectory patterns were assessed using multinomial logistic regression *** The BMI growth trajectories of the 82. children were categorized into four patterns:low-stable(n=134,16.2.),low-increasing(n=142.17.2.),moderate-stable(n=350,42.4%),and moderate-increasing(n=2.0,2..2.).After adjusting for potential confounders,we observed that prenatal exposure to BPA during the second trimester[odds ratio(OR)=2.2.,95%confidence interval(CI)=1.09–4.43]and BPF during the third trimester(OR=3.2.,95%CI=1.55–6.95)at the highest quartile concentration were associated with an increased likelihood of the low-increasing BMI ***,in the subgroup analysis by infant sex,the positive association between the highest quartile of prenatal average urinary BPF concentration during the whole pregnancy and the low-increasing BMI trajectory was found only in girls(OR=2.82.95%CI=1.04–7.68).Conclus

The study of nuclide production and its properties in the N=12. neutron-rich region is prevalent in nuclear physics and astrophysics *** upcoming High-energy FRagment Separator(HFRS)at the High-Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility(HIAF),an in-flight separator at relativistic energies,is characterized by high beam intensity,large ion-optical acceptance,high magnetic rigidity,and high momentum resolution *** provides an opportunity to study the production and properties of neutron-rich nuclei around N=*** this paper,an experimental scheme is proposed to produce neutron-rich nuclei around N=12. and simultaneously measure their mass and lifetime based on the HFRS separator;the feasibility of this scheme is evaluated through *** results show that under the high-resolution optical mode,many new neutron-rich nuclei approaching the r-process abundance peak around A=195 can be produced for the first time,and many nuclei with unknown masses and lifetimes can be produced with high *** the time-of-flight corrected by the measured dispersive position and energy loss information,the cocktails produced from 2.8 Pb fragmentation can be unambiguously ***,the masses of some neutron-rich nuclei near N=12. can be measured with high precision using the time-of-flight magnetic rigidity *** indicates that the HIAF-HFRS facility has the potential for the production and property research of neutron-rich nuclei around N=12.,which is of great significance for expanding the chart of nuclides,developing nuclear theories,and understanding the origin of heavy elements in the universe.

Neutron-sensitive microchannel plates(nMCPs)have applications in neutron detection,including energy spectrum measurements,neutron-induced cross sections,and neutron imaging.10B-doped MCPs(B-MCPs)have attracted significant attention owing to their potential for exhibiting a high neutron detection efficiency over a large neutron energy *** spatial and temporal resolutions are useful for neutron energy-resolved ***,their practical applications still face many technical *** this study,a B-MCP with 10 mol%10B was tested for its response to wide-energy neutrons from eV to MeV at the Back-n white neutron source at the China Spallation Neutron *** neutron detection efficiency was calibrated at 1 eV,which is approximately 300 times that of an ordinary MCP and indicates the success of 10 B *** factors that caused the reduction in the detection efficiency were simulated and *** neutron energy spectrum obtained using B-MCP was compared with that obtained by other measurement methods,and showed very good consistency for neutron energies below tens of *** response is more complicated at higher neutron energy,at which point the elastic and nonelastic reactions of all nuclides of B-MCP gradually become *** is beneficial for the detection of neutrons,as it compensates for the detection efficiency of B-MCP for high-energy neutrons.

Post-synthetic installation strategy is an effective approach to improve the functions of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs).Herein,a pair of chiral MOFs is successfully constructed through solvothermal subcomponent self-assembly and exhibit circularly polarized luminescence(CPL).These MOFs contain coordinatively unsaturated Zn sites and channels,which allow the installation of pyridyl-terminated pillars into the original *** a post-synthetic installation process reinforces the MOFs'rigidity and increases the photoluminescence quantum yields(PLQYs).Furthermore,the luminescence dissymmetry factors(glum)of these post-modified MOFs are amplified after installing the *** work provides an appealing strategy for boosting the CPL performance of chiral MOFs.

BACKGROUND Accumulating evidence suggests that the inflammatory cytokine interleukin-6(IL-6)contributes to the pathophysiology of psychiatric ***,there was no study concerning the relationship between IL-6 concentrations and clinical features in the chronic phase of early-onset schizophrenia(EOS).AIM To investigate the relationship between serum IL-6 concentration and the clinical features of *** We measured serum IL-6 Levels from 74 patients with chronic schizophrenia,including 33 with age at onset2. years(EOS group)and 41 with onset≥2. years in[adult-onset schizophrenia(AOS)group],and from 41 healthy *** severities were evaluated using the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS).RESULTS Serum IL-6 concentrations were higher in both EOS and AOS groups than healthy controls(F=2..32.P1),but did not differ significantly between EOS and AOS groups(P>0.05)after controlling for age,body mass index,and other *** symptom scores were higher in the EOS group than the AOS group(F=6.199,P=0.015).Serum IL-6 concentrations in the EOS group were negatively correlated with both total PANSS-negative symptom score(r=-0.389,P=0.032.and avolition/asociality subscore(r=-0.387,P=0.02.).CONCLUSION Patients with EOS may have more severe negative symptoms than those with adult-onset schizophrenia during the chronic phase of the ***-6 signaling may regulate negative symptoms and its avolition/asociality subsymptoms among the early-onset chronic schizophrenic patients.

Coxsackievirus B3(CVB3)is the pathogen causing hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD),which manifests across a spectrum of clinical severity from mild to ***,CVB3-infected mouse models mainly demonstrate viral myocarditis and pancreatitis,failing to replicate human HFMD *** several enteroviruses have been evaluated in Syrian hamsters and rhesus monkeys,there is no comprehensive data on *** this study,we have first tested the susceptibility of Syrian hamsters to CVB3 infection via different *** results showed that Syrian hamsters were successfully infected with CVB3 by intraperitoneal injection or nasal drip,leading to nasopharyngeal colonization,acute severe pathological injury,and typical HFMD ***,the nasal drip group exhibited a longer viral excretion cycle and more severe pathological *** the subsequent study,rhesus monkeys infected with CVB3 through nasal drips also presented signs of HFMD symptoms,viral excretion,serum antibody conversion,viral nucleic acids and antigens,and the specific organ damages,particularly in the ***,there were no significant differences in myocardial enzyme levels,and the clinical symptoms resembled those often associated with common,mild *** summary,the study successfully developed severe Syrian hamsters and mild rhesus monkey models for CVB3-induced *** models could serve as a basis for understanding the disease pathogenesis,conducting pre-trial prevention and evaluation,and implementing post-exposure intervention.

Various SARS-CoV-2.related coronaviruses have been increasingly identified in pangolins,showing a potential threat to *** we report the infectivity and pathogenicity of the SARS-CoV-2.related virus,PCoV-GX/P2.,which was isolated from a Malayan pangolin(Manis javanica).PCoV-GX/P2. could grow in human hepatoma,colorectal adenocarcinoma cells,and human primary nasal epithelial *** replicated more efficiently in cells expressing human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2.hACE2.as SARS-CoV-2.*** intranasal inoculation to the hACE2.transgenic mice,PCoV-GX/P2. not only replicated in nasal turbinate and lungs,but also caused interstitial pneumonia,characterized by infiltration of mixed inflammatory cells and multifocal alveolar *** population immunity established by SARS-CoV-2.infection and vaccination may not protect people from PCoV-GX/P2. *** findings further verify the hACE2.utility of PCoV-GX/P2. by in vivo experiments using authentic viruses and highlight the importance for intensive surveillance to prevent possible cross-species transmission.
