Purpose-The purpose of this paper is to make an overview of 6,618 publications of Apache Hadoop from 2008 to 2020 in order to provide a conclusive and comprehensive analysis for researchers in this field,as well as a preliminary knowledge of Apache Hadoop for interested ***/methodology/approach-This paper employs the bibliometric analysis and visual analysis approaches to systematically study and analyze publications about Apache Hadoop in the Web of Science *** study aims to investigate the topic of Apache Hadoop by means of bibliometric analysis with the aid of visualization *** the bibliometric analysis of the collected documents,this paper analyzes the main statistical characteristics and cooperation *** themes,research hotspots and future development trends are also investigated through the keyword ***-The research on Apache Hadoop is still the top priority in the future,and how to improve the performance of Apache Hadoop in the era of big data is one of the research *** limitations/implications-This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of Apache Hadoop with methods of bibliometrics,and it is valuable for researchers can quickly grasp the hot topics in this ***/value-This paper draws the structural characteristics of the publications in this field and summarizes the research hotspots and trends in this field in recent years,aiming to understand the development status and trends in this field and inspire new ideas for researchers.

Graph sampling is a very effective method to deal with scalability issues when analyzing largescale graphs. Lots of sampling algorithms have been proposed, and sampling qualities have been quantified using explicit properties(e.g., degree distribution) of the sample. However, the existing sampling techniques are inadequate for the current sampling task: sampling the clustering structure, which is a crucial property of the current networks. In this paper, using different expansion strategies, two novel top-leader sampling methods(i.e., TLS-e and TLS-i) are proposed to obtain representative samples, and they are capable of effectively preserving the clustering structure. The rationale behind them is to select top-leader nodes of most clusters into the sample and then heuristically incorporate peripheral nodes into the sample using specific expansion strategies. Extensive experiments are conducted to investigate how well sampling techniques preserve the clustering structure of graphs. Our empirical results show that the proposed sampling algorithms can preserve the population’s clustering structure well and provide feasible solutions to sample the clustering structure from large-scale graphs.

Airborne laser scanning(ALS)and terrestrial laser scanning(TLS)has attracted attention due to their forest parameter investigation and research *** is limited to obtaining fi ne structure information below the forest canopy due to the occlusion of trees in natural *** contrast,TLS is unable to gather fi ne structure information about the upper *** address the problem of incomplete acquisition of natural forest point cloud data by ALS and TLS on a single platform,this study proposes data registration without control *** ALS and TLS original data were cropped according to sample plot size,and the ALS point cloud data was converted into relative coordinates with the center of the cropped data as the *** same feature point pairs of the ALS and TLS point cloud data were then selected to register the point cloud *** initial registered point cloud data was fi nely and optimally registered via the iterative closest point(ICP)*** results show that the proposed method achieved highprecision registration of ALS and TLS point cloud data from two natural forest plots of Pinus yunnanensis *** Picea asperata *** included diff erent species and *** average registration accuracy of 0.06 m and 0.09 m were obtained for *** and ***,respectively.

The spiral forces of phase singularities are demonstrated experimentally and numerically by presenting the generation and propagation dynamics of multiple optical vortices embedded in a Gaussian *** results reveal that the energy flow established by certain phase singularity will perform the characteristics of force on other singularities whose direction is determined by the sign of the topological *** force is confirmed by the fluid-like motions of multi-vortex beams,*** undergo rotation(annihilation) with each other when they involve identical(opposite) topological *** force mechanism may help develop an intuitive understanding of multi-vortex motion and presents a new viewpoint from which to study the dynamics of singularities.

Forest resource management and ecological assessment have been recently supported by emerging *** laser scanning(TLS)is one that can be quickly and accurately used to obtain three-dimensional forest information,and create good representations of forest vertical *** data can be exploited for highly significant tasks,particularly the segmentation and information extraction for individual ***,the existing single-tree segmentation methods suffer from low segmentation accuracy and poor robustness,and hence do not lead to satisfactory results for natural forests in complex *** this paper,we propose a trunk-growth(TG)method for single-tree point-cloud segmentation,and apply this method to the natural forest scenes of Shangri-La City in Northwest Yunnan,***,the point normal vector and its Z-axis component are used as trunk-growth ***,the points surrounding the trunk are searched to account for ***,the nearest distributed branch and leaf points are used to complete the individual tree *** results show that the TG method can effectively segment individual trees with an average F-score of *** proposed method applies to many types of trees with various growth shapes,and can effectively identify shrubs and herbs in complex scenes of natural *** promising outcomes of the TG method demonstrate the key advantages of combining plant morphology theory and LiDAR technology for advancing and optimizing forestry systems.

In this work,we propose porous fluororubber/thermoplastic urethane nanocomposites(PFTNs)and explore their intrinsic piezoresistive sensitivity to *** experiments reveal that the intrinsic sensitivity of the PFTN-based sensor to pressure up to 10 kPa increases up to 900%compared to the porous thermoplastic urethane nanocomposite(PTN)counterpart and up to 275%compared to the porous fluororubber nanocomposite(PFN)*** pressures exceeding 10 kPa,the resistance-pressure relationship of PFTN follows a logarithmic function,and the sensitivity is 221%and 125%higher than that of PTN and PFN,*** the excellent intrinsic sensitivity of the thick PFTN film,a single sensing unit with integrated electrode design can imitate human skin for touch detection,pressure perception and traction *** sensing range of our multimodal tactile sensor reaches~150 Pa,and it exhibits a linear fit over 97%for both normal pressure and shear *** also demonstrate that an electronic skin,made of an array of sensing units,is capable of accurately recognizing complex tactile interactions including pinch,spread,and tweak motions.

The present study experimentally investigated the near-field flow mixing characteristics of two turbulent jets issuing from equilateral triangular and circular orifice plates into effectively unbounded surroundings,*** particle image velocimetry(PIV) was applied to measure the velocity field at the same Reynolds number of Re=50,000,where Re = UeDe /with Ue being the exit bulk velocity and the kinematic viscosity of fluid,D e the equivalent *** instantaneous velocity,mean velocity,Reynolds stresses were *** the mean velocity field,the centreline velocity decay rate and half-velocity width were *** the mixing characteristics of the two jets,it is found that the triangular jet has a faster mixing rate than the circular *** triangular jet entrainments with the ambient fluid at a higher rate in the near *** is evidenced by a shorter unmixed core,faster Reynolds stress and centreline turbulence intensity *** primary coherent structures in the near field are found to break down more rapidly in the triangular jet as compared to the circular *** the entire measurement region,the triangular jet maintained a higher rate of decay and ***,all components of Reynolds stress of the triangular jet appear to reach their peaks earlier,and then decay more rapidly than those of the circular *** addition,the axis-switching phenomenon is observed in the triangular jet.

Gansu province,considered as one of the poorest provinces in China,faces great challenges in fighting against *** study highlights the importance of studying multidimensional poverty in Gansu *** Multidimensional Poverty Indices of 75 poverty-stricken counties in Gansu province are measured quantita*** main driving factors of poverty are identified through the construction and application of a multidimensional poverty measurement system,classifying the impoverished counties into several *** study provides a scientific basis for formulating effective policies to achieve sustainable poverty reduction and highquality development in the region after *** results show that:(1)more than half of the poverty-stricken counties in Gansu province have a degree of multidimensional poverty that is below the median poverty level,with regional variations;(2)the main factors driving poverty in these counties include shortages in water and land resources,educational disruptions,undesirable medical conditions,and the underutilisation of labour,which show spatial variations;and(3)these poverty-stricken counties are categorised into four types:counties with fragile ecological environments and insufficient natural resources,counties with undesirable socio-economic conditions,counties with unfavourable conditions in development,and counties with relatively balanced development ***,this paper proposes policy recommendations to achieve stable poverty alleviation based on different types of impoverished counties.
