Edge computing paradigm for 5G architecture has been considered as one of the most effective ways to realize low latency and highly reliable communication,which brings computing tasks and network resources to the edge of *** deployment of edge computing nodes is a key factor affecting the service performance of edge computing *** this paper,we propose a method for deploying edge computing nodes based on user *** the combination of Simulation of Urban Mobility(SUMO)and Network Simulator-3(NS-3),a simulation platform is built to generate data of hotspot areas in Io T *** effectively using the data generated by the communication between users in Io T scenario,the location area of the user terminal can be *** this basis,the deployment problem is expressed as a mixed integer linear problem,which can be solved by Simulated Annealing(SA)*** analysis of the results shows that,compared with the traditional method,the proposed method has faster convergence speed and better performance.

Fast neutron flux measurements with high count rates and high time resolution have important applications in equipment such as *** this study,real-time neutron and gamma discrimination was implemented on a self-developed 500-Msps,12-bit digitizer,and the neutron and gamma spectra were calculated directly on an FPGA.A fast neutron flux measurement system with BC-501A and EJ-309 liquid scintillator detectors was developed and a fast neutron measurement experiment was successfully performed on the HL-2 M tokamak at the Southwestern Institute of Physics,*** experimental results demonstrated that the system obtained the neutron and gamma spectra with a time accuracy of 1 *** count rates of up to 1 Mcps,the figure of merit was greater than 1.05 for energies between 50 keV and 2.8 MeV.

Under China’s“Dual Carbon”target(DCT),“clean replacement”on the energy supply side and“electric energy replacement”on the energy consumption side are the ways to achieve energy ***,energy projects have a long construction period,complex technology categories,and investment risks that greatly affect the development of energy *** judging the effect of investment changes on primary energy production is of great practical significance to the realization of the *** on this,NARDL and TVP-SV-VAR models are innovatively used to reveal the nonlinear effect of fixed-asset investment on China’s primary energy *** results show that the marginal effect of investment growth on coal production is about 1.44 times that of investment ***,the marginal effect of oil and gas investment growth is about 1.21times that of investment *** to the influence of resource constraints,China’s traditional fossil energy still has varying degrees of path dependence on the investment-driven development *** non-fossil energy,investment in hydropower and nuclear power has an inverse correlation with the change in *** marginal efficiency and diseconomies of scale have hindered the development of the hydropower and nuclear power *** addition,the asymmetric effect is not yet significant for the short development time and technical constraints of wind and solar *** the impulse response results,the impact curves of investment in wind and solar power are generally positive,and investment has different degrees of time-delay and time-varying effects on various energy production,which verifies the heterogeneity of investment adjustment mechanisms in different energy industries.

Alkane-based biodiesel is considered the next generation of biodiesel owing to its potential environmental benefits and the fact that it exhibits much higher specific caloric values than traditional ***,the formidable obstacle impeding the commercialization of this cutting-edge fuel alternative lies in the cost associated with its *** this study,an engineered strain Escherichia coli(***)showcasing harmonized coexpression of a lipase(from Thermomyces lanuginosus lipase,TLL)and a fatty acid photodecarboxylase(from Chlorella variabilis,CvFAP)was first constructed to transform triglycerides into *** potential of *** BL21(DE3)/pRSFDuet-1-TLL-CvFAP for alkane synthesis was evaluated with tripalmitin as a model substrate under various process *** a comprehensive examination of the reaction parameters,the scope of the biotransformation was expanded to‘real’substrates(vegetable oils).The results showed that bioderived oils can be transformed into alkanes with high yields(0.80-10.20 mmol·L^(-1))under mild conditions(35℃,pH 8.0,and 36 h)and blue light *** selected processes were performed on an increased lab scale(up to 100 ml)with up to 24.77 mmol·L^(-1) tripalmitin,leading to a yield of 18.89 mmol·L^(-1) *** the employment of a method for efficiently producing alkanes under mild conditions and a simple procedure to isolate alkanes from the reaction system,the utilization of sustainable biomass as a fundamental feedstock emerges as the primary solution to lower the cost of alkane-based ***,this study proposes a readily implementable and highly effective approach for alkane-based biodiesel production.

High-performance carbon dots(CDs)allowing the application in high-end display devices are highly desirable and usually limited by the absence of simple and easy synthesis *** this work,we exploited an easy-to-implement strategy for the one-step synthesis of green-emitting CDs(G-CDs)with superb optical *** G-CDs were synthesized using m-phenylenediamine(m-PD)as a single precursor,and the reaction reacted at 180℃for 12 h The resultant G-CDs exhibit high-purity and excitationindependent green fluorescence with the photoluminescence(PL)peak located at 516 nm,full width at half maximum(FWHM)of 46 nm,and PL quantum yield(QY)of∼80%under the 470nm excitation *** G-CDs and corresponding composite film prepared with polyvinyl butyral(G-CDs@PVB)exhibit good PL stability after undergoing long-time storage for one year and 360 h exposure under 460nm blue *** G-CDs@PVB film was used as color-conversion materials in green-emitting light-emitting diode(LED)application,exhibiting a Commission internationale de l’Eclairage(CIE)chromaticity coordinate of(0.21,0.44).The film was also used in CD-based liquid crystal display(CD-LCD)application,achieving a color gamut value of 85%.This work will offer a working basis for the synthesis of high-performance CDs as well as their application in displays.

BACKGROUND: Melatonin exerts complex physiological and pharmacological effects on multiple systems and organs. We hypothesized that melatonin might abate ischemia/ reperfusion (I/R) injury in the liver by inhibiting excessive oxidative stress and keeping nitric oxide (NO) from being scavenged by free radicals. The aim of the present study was to investigate whether melatonin protects the liver from I/R injury and, if so, by what underlying mechanism. METHODS: Under anesthesia, Wistar rats were intraperi- toneally injected with 20 mg/kg melatonin (dissolved in physiological saline containing 4% ethanol, Mel group), 4% alcohol (Alc group), or physiological saline (NS group). The artery, portal vein and bile duct of the left lobe of the liver were clamped for 60 minutes and then released. At different time points after I/R, the rats were sacrificed and blood samples were collected to measure the levels of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), lactic dehydrogenase (LDH), and NO. Hepatic tissue samples were collected for measuring endothelin expression by immunohistochemical staining and for routine morphological and histological examination. RESULTS: The levels of both ALT and LDH in the Mel group were significantly reduced for up to 24 hours after I/R compared with the Alc and NS groups (P<0.05). The levels of NO in the Mel group were significantly elevated for up to 12 hours after I/R relative to the NS group (P<0.05). The NO levels were also elevated at 0.5 and 6 hours after I/R in the Alc group (P<0.05). The immunohistochemical staining of hepatic tissue showedthat endothelin-positive cells were significantly fewer in the Mel group than in the Alc and NS groups at 6 hours after I/R (P<0.01). The necrosis of hepatocytes and the destruction of hepatic cords in the Alc and NS groups were greatly improved in Mel-treated rats, which is in concert with our functional data. Objective:To investigate whether the combination of chemotherapy with staged Chinese herbal medicine(CHM) therapy could enhance health-related quality of life(QoL) in non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients and prolong the time before deterioration of lung cancer symptoms,in comparison to chemotherapy ***:A prospective,double-blind,randomized,controlled trial was conducted from December 14,2017 to August 28,2020.A total of 180 patients with stage ⅠB-ⅢA NSCLC from 5 hospitals in Shanghai were randomly divided into chemotherapy combined with CHM(chemo+CHM) group(120 cases) or chemotherapy combined with placebo(chemo+placebo) group(60 cases) using stratified blocking *** European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer(EORTC) Quality-of-Life-Core 30 Scale(QLQ-C30) was used to evaluate the patient-reported outcomes(PROs) during postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with early-stage *** events(AEs) were assessed in the safety ***:Out of the total 180 patients,173 patients(116in the chemo+CHM group and 57 in the chemo+placebo group) were included in the PRO *** initial mean QLQ-C30 Global Health Status(GHS)/QoL scores at baseline were 57.16±1.64 and 57.67±2.25 for the two respective groups(P>0.05).Compared with baseline,the chemo+CHM group had an improvement in QLQ-C30GHS/QoL score at week 18 [least squares mean(LSM) change 17.83,95% confidence interval(CI) 14.29 to 21.38].Conversely,the chemo+placebo group had a decrease in the score(LSM change-13.67,95% CI-22.70 to-4.63).A significant between-group difference in the LSM GHS/QoL score was observed,amounting to 31.63 points(95% CI25.61 to 37.64,P<0.001).The similar trends were observed in physical functioning,fatigue and appetite *** week 18,patients in the chemo+CHM group had a higher proportion of improvement or stabilization in GHS/QoL functional and symptom scores compared to chemo+placebo group(P<0.001).The median time to deterioration
