Delay induced transitions in an asymmetry bistable system and stochastic resonance

The delay Fokker-Planck equation is given for an asymmetry bistable system with correlated Gaussian white noises. The small delay approximation based on the probability density approach is used and the approximate stationary probability density function is obtained. The phenomenon of delay induced transitions is found. When a weak periodic signal is added, the phenomenon of stochastic resonance is investigated. Expression of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is obtained by using the two-state theory. It is shown that the time delay can suppress or promote the stochastic resonance phenomenon.

Two-dimensional(2D)materials that combine ferromagnetic,semiconductor,and piezoelectric properties hold significant potential for both fundamental research and spin electronic ***,the majority of reported 2D ferromagnetic-semiconductor-piezoelectric materials rely on d-electron systems,which limits their practical applications due to a Curie temperature lower than room temperature(RT).Here,we report a high-crystallinity carbon nitride(CCN)material based on sp-electrons using a chemical vapor deposition *** exhibits a band gap of 1.8 eV and has been confirmed to possess substantial in-plane and out-of-plane ***,we acquired clear evidences of ferromagnetic behavior at room *** structural characterizations combined with theoretical calculations reveal that incorporating structural oxygen into the highly ordered heptazine structure causes partial substitution of nitrogen sites,which is primarily responsible for generating room-temperature ferromagnetism and *** a result,the strain in wrinkles can effectively modulate the domain behavior and piezoelectric potential at room *** addition of RT ferromagnetic-semiconductor-piezoelectric material based on sp-electrons to the family of two-dimensional materials opens up numerous possibilities for novel applications in fundamental research and spin electronic devices.

This paper aims to investigate Gaussian colored noise-induced stochastic bifurcations and the influence of correlation time and noise intensity in a bistable Duffing-van der Pol *** using the stochastic averaging method,one can obtain the stationary probability density function of amplitude for the Duffing-van der Pol oscillator theoretically and find rich dynamics under the influence of Gaussian colored *** bifurcations are discussed through a qualitative change of the stationary probability distribution,which indicates that system parameters,noise intensity and noise correlation time can be treated as bifurcation parameters respectively,They also imply that the effects of multiplicative noise are rather different from that of additive *** results of direct numerical simulation verify the effectiveness of the theoretical ***,the largest Lyapunov exponent calculations indicate that the P-bifurcation and D-bifurcation have no direct connection.

Rate-dependent tipping-delay phenomenon in a thermoacoustic system with colored noise

Tipping is a phenomenon in multistable systems where small changes in inputs cause huge changes in *** the parameter varies within a certain time scale,the rate will affect the tipping *** behaviors are undesirable in thermoacoustic systems,which are widely used in aviation,power generation and other ***,this paper aims at considering the tipping behaviors of the thermoacoustic system with the time-varying parameters and the combined excitations of additive and multiplicative colored *** dynamical behaviors for the proposed thermoacoustic model are implemented through the reduced Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov equation derived by a standard stochastic averaging ***,the tipping problems of the rate-dependent thermoacoustic systems with random fluctuations are studied by virtue of the obtained probability density *** results show that the rate delays the value of the tipping parameter compared to the one with the quasi-steady assumption,which is called as a rate-dependent tipping-delay ***,the influences of the initial values,the rate,the changing time of the parameters,and the correlation time of the noises on the rate-dependent tipping-delay phenomenon are analyzed in *** results are of great significance for research in related fields such as aviation and land gas turbines.

The Circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by china,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV Damping Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a Collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The Linac and Damping Ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and Collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super Proton Proton Collider(SPPC).The CEPC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(SR)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34.cm^(-2)s^(-1)per interaction point(IP),resulting in an integrated luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two IPs over a decade,producing 2.6 million Higgs *** the SR power to 50 MW per beam expands the CEPC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceeding the precision expected from the HL-LHC by an order of *** Technical Design Report(TDR)follows the Preliminary Conceptual Design Report(Pre-CDR,2015)and the Conceptual Design Report(CDR,2018),comprehensively detailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical design and analysis,technical systems design,R&D and prototyping efforts,and associated civil engineering ***,it includes a cost estimate and a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering design phase and site selection *** is anticipated to begin around 2027-2028,pending government approval,with an estimated duration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and data collection could potentially be initiated in the mid-2030s.
