Efficacy and Safety of Bufei Jiedu Granules in Treating Multidrug-Resistant Pulmonary Tuberculosis:A Multi-center,Double-Blinded and Randomized Controlled Trial

Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of Bufei Jiedu(BFJD) Granules as adjuvant therapy for patients with multidrug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis(MDR-PTB). Methods: A large-scale, multi-center, double-blinded, and randomized controlled trial was conducted in 18 sentinel hospitals in China from December 2012 to December 2016. A total of 312 MDR-PTB patients were randomly assigned to BFJD Granules or placebo groups(1:1) using a stratified randomization method, which both received the long-course chemotherapy regimen for 18 months(6 Am-Lfx-P-Z-Pto, 12 Lfx-P-Z-Pto). Meanwhile, patients in both groups also received BFJD Granules or placebo twice a day for a total of 18 months, respectively. The primary outcome was cure rate. The secondary outcomes included time to sputum-culture conversion, changes in lung cavities and quality of life(QoL) of patients. Adverse reactions were monitored during and after the trial. Results: A total of 216 cases completed the trial, 111 in the BFJD Granules group and 105 in the placebo group. BFJD Granules, as adjuvant treatment, increased the cure rate by 13.6% at the end of treatment, compared with the placebo(58.4% vs. 44.8%, P=0.02), and accelerated the median time to sputum-culture conversion(5 months vs. 11 months). The cavity closure rate of the BFJD Granules group(50.6%, 43/85) was higher than that of the placebo group(32.1%, 26/81;P=0.02) in patients who completed the treatment. At the end of the intensive treatment, according to the 36-item Short Form, the BFJD Granules significantly improved physical functioning, general health, and vitality of patients relative to the placebo group(all P<0.01). Overall, the death rates in the two groups were not significantly different;5.1%(8/156) in the BFJD Granules group and 2.6%(4/156) in the placebo group. 目的:探讨吡嗪酰胺联合左氧氟沙星对耐多药肺结核(MDR-TB)的治疗效果。方法:选取2019年6月~2022年12月某院收治的104例MDR-TB患者作为研究对象,采用随机数字表法分为对照组和观察组,每组52例。对照组在常规抗结核治疗基础上给予左氧氟沙星治疗,观察组在对照组基础上加用吡嗪酰胺。比较两组患者临床治疗总有效率、痰菌阴转率、空洞闭合率、氧化应激指标、炎症因子及不良反应。结果:治疗后,观察组临床治疗总有效率高于对照组(P0.05)。结论:吡嗪酰胺联合左氧氟沙星治疗MDR-TB,可有效改善患者肺部炎症损伤,提高结核分枝杆菌清除率,临床疗效明显,且不增加不良反应的发生风险。

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs) combine the benefits of metallic Zn anodes with those of aqueous electrolytes and are well suited for large-scale energy storage because of their inherent high safety, cost-effectiveness, and eco-friendliness. Currently, the practical application of such batteries is hindered by the poor cycling performance of Zn anodes due to uncontrolled dendrite formation and severe side reactions, although recent reports suggest that these problems can be mitigated through the modification of Zn anodes with metal-based *** that the mechanisms of improving Zn deposition and the structural evolution of metal-based materials have not been systematically reviewed, we herein systematically overview the metal-based materials used to stabilize Zn anodes, starting with a brief summary of the anode working mechanism and the challenges faced by stabilized Zn anodes. Subsequently, the design principles of Zn anodes stabilized by metal-based materials and the related recent progress are reviewed, and the key challenges and perspectives for the future development of such Zn anodes are proposed.

Interface interaction between SiO_(2) and magnetite under high temperature:particle migration and inhibition mechanism

From Liquid to Solid‑State Lithium Metal Batteries:Fundamental Issues and Recent Developments

The widespread adoption of lithium-ion batteries has been driven by the proliferation of portable electronic devices and electric vehicles,which have increasingly stringent energy density *** metal batteries(LMBs),with their ultralow reduction potential and high theoretical capacity,are widely regarded as the most promising technical pathway for achieving high energy density *** this review,we provide a comprehensive overview of fundamental issues related to high reactivity and migrated interfaces in ***,we propose improved strategies involving interface engineering,3D current collector design,electrolyte optimization,separator modification,application of alloyed anodes,and external field regulation to address these *** utilization of solid-state electrolytes can significantly enhance the safety of LMBs and represents the only viable approach for advancing *** review also encompasses the variation in fundamental issues and design strategies for the transition from liquid to solid *** noteworthy is that the introduction of SSEs will exacerbate differences in electrochemical and mechanical properties at the interface,leading to increased interface inhomogeneity—a critical factor contributing to failure in all-solidstate lithium metal *** on recent research works,this perspective highlights the current status of research on developing high-performance LMBs.

Micro defects formation and dynamic response analysis of steel plate of quasi-cracking area subjected to explosive load

As the protective component,steel plate had attracted extensive attention because of frequently threats of explosive *** this paper,the evolution of microstructure and the mechanism of damage in the quasi-cracking area of steel plate subjected to explosive load were discussed and the relationships between micro defects and dynamic mechanical response were *** the explosion experiment,five observation points were selected equidistant from the quasi-cracking area of the section of the steel plate along the thickness direction,and the characteristics of micro defects at the observation points were analyzed by optical microscope(OM),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD).The observation result shows that many slip bands(SBs) appeared,and the grain orientation changed obviously in the steel plate,the two were the main damage types of micro *** addition,cracks,peeling pits,grooves and other lager micro defects were appeared in the lower area of the *** stress parameters of the observation points were obtained through an effective numerical *** mechanism of damage generation and crack propagation in the quasicracking area were clarified by comparing the specific impulse of each observation point with the corresponding micro *** result shows that the generation and expansion of micro defects are related to the stress area(*** upper compression area,the neutral plane area,and the lower tension area).The micro defects gather and expand at the grain boundary,and will become macroscopic damage under the continuous action of tensile ***,the micro defects at the midpoint of the section of the steel plate in the direction away from the explosion center(*** horizontal direction) were also *** was found that the specific impulse at these positions were much smaller than that in the thickness direction,the micro defects were only SBs and a few micro cracks,and the those decrea

Magnetoelastic couplings in giant magnetostrictive materials(GMMs)attract significant interests due to their extensive applications in the fields of spintronics and energy harvesting *** the role of the selection of materials and the response to external fields is essential for attaining desired functionality of a ***,machine learning(ML)models are conducted to predict saturation magnetostrictions(λ_(s))in RFe_(2)-type(R=rare earth)GMMs with different *** to ML-predicted composition–λsrelations,it is discovered that the values ofλshigher than1100×10^(-6)are almost situated in the composition space surrounded by 0.26≤x≤0.60 and 1.90≤y≤2.00 for the ternary compounds of Tb_(x)Dy_(1-x)Fe_(y).Assisted by ML predictions,the compositions are further narrowed down to the space surrounded by 0.26≤x≤0.32 and 1.92≤y≤1.97 for the excellent piezomagnetic(PM)performance in the Tb_(x)Dy_(1-x)Fe_(y)based PM device through our developed high-throughput(HTP)micromagnetic simulation(MMS)***,high sensitivities up to10.22-13.61 m T·MPa^(-1)are observed in the optimized range within which the available experimental data fall *** work not only provides valuable insights toward understanding the mechanism of magnetoelastic couplings,but also paves the way for designing and optimizing highperformance magnetostrictive materials and PM sensing devices.
