Evolutionary cryptography against multidimensional linear cryptanalysis

The evolutionary cryptosystem is a new cryptosystem proposed by a Chinese researcher recently. This paper studies its security level resisting against multidimensional linear cryptanalysis in this paper. It is shown that the evolutionary cryptosystem possesses higher resistance than its initial fixed cryptosystem does for resisting against multidimensional linear cryptanalysis. Multidimensional generalizations of Matsui's Algorithm 1 and Algorithm 2.based on log-likelihood ratio (LLR) statistics are introduced. By the relationship among the data complexity N , the bit advantage a and the success rate P S of these two multidimensional generalized algorithms, it is proven that more data is needed for attacking the evolutionary cryptosystem than that is needed for attacking its initial fixed cryptosystem when the bit advantage and success rate are identical. Moreover, it is shown that both time complexity and memory complexity for attacking the evolutionary cryptosystem are higher than that of attacking its initial fixed cryptosystem with the same data complexity. The research indicates that the evolutionary cryptosystem is more robust than its initial fixed cryptosystem against the multidimensional linear cryptanalysis.

Advances in quantum computers pose great threats on the currently used public key cryptographic algorithms such as RSA and ECC. As a promising candidate secure against attackers equipped with quantum computational power, multivariate public key cryptosystems (MPKCs) have attracted increasing attention in recently years. Unfortunately, the existing MPKCs can only be used as a multivariate signature scheme, and it remains unknown how to construct an efficient MPKC enabling secure encryption. Furthermore, some multivariate signature schemes have been shown insecure in recent years, and it is also not trivial to build MPKC which can serve as a secure signature scheme. By employing the basic MQ-trapdoors, this paper proposes a novel MPKC and shows how it can be used as a multivariate signature scheme and a multivariate encryption scheme, respectively. The goal is achieved by incorporating our new hash authentication techniques and some modification methods such as the Shamir's minus method. Thorough analysis shows that our schemes are secure and efficient. Our MPKC gives a positive response to the challenges in multivariate public key cryptography.

Using fiberglass bolts to reinforce a tunnel face is a practical auxiliary technology for ensuring tunnel face stability in soft *** reinforcing effect and the economics of this technology are significantly affected by bolt ***,to date,the failure mechanism of bolt-reinforced tunnel faces with different bolt lengths has rarely been *** reveal the failure mechanism of bolt-reinforced shallow tunnel faces,in this study,the stability of bolt-reinforced tunnel faces with different bolt lengths was investigated by using laboratory tests and numerical simulations,and a simplified theoretical model for practical engineering was *** face support pressure and failure pattern for different bolt lengths during the face collapse process were obtained,and the influence of bolt length on face stability was clearly *** specifically,the results show that face stability increases with increasing bolt length,and the reinforcing effect of face bolts is governed by the shear failure at the soil-grout interface first in the stable zone of the tunnel face and then in the failure *** the bolt length in the stable zone is larger than that in the failure zone,face stability will not be improved with increasing bolt length;thus,this bolt length is referred to as the optimal bolt length L_(opt).The L_(opt)value is slightly larger than the initial failure range(in the unreinforced condition)and can be approximately calculated by L_(opt)=(1-0.0133u)D(u is the friction angle of the soil,and D is the tunnel diameter)in practical ***,a simplified theoretical model was established to analyse the stability of reinforced tunnel faces,and the results are in good agreement with both laboratory tests and numerical *** proposed model can be used as an efficient tool for the design of face bolts.

Near-infrared(NIR)transparent inverted all-inorganic perovskite solar cells(PSCs)are excellent top cell candidates in tandem *** essential challenge is the replacement of metal contacts with transparent conductive oxide(TCO)electrodes,which requires the introduction of a buffer layer to prevent sputtering *** this study,we show that the conventional buffers(i.e.,small organic molecules and atomic layer deposited metal oxides)used for organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites are not applicable to all-inorganic perovskites,due to non-uniform coverage of the vulnerable layers underneath,deterioration upon ion bombardment and moisture induced perovskite phase transition,A thin film of metal oxide nanoparticles by the spin-coating method serves as a non-destructive buffer layer for inorganic ***-inorganic inverted near-infrared-transparent PSCs deliver a PCE of 17.46%and an average transmittance of 73.7%between 780 and 12.0 *** combination with an 18.56%Cu(In,Ga)Se_(2. bottom cell,we further demonstrate the first all-inorganic perovskite/CIGS 4-T tandem solar cell with a PCE of 2..75%,which exhibits excellent illumination stability by maintaining 86.7%of its initial efficiency after 1400 *** non-destructive buffer lays the foundation for efficient and stable NIR-transparent inverted inorganic perovskite solar cells and perovskite-based tandems.

Side channel attacks (SCAs) on security software and hardware have become major concerns on computer and system *** existing SCAs generally require the knowledge of the corresponding cryptographic algorithm and implementation adopted in the target; therefore,they are not fully suitable for practical *** this paper,we propose a novel SCA-polar differential power attack (polar DPA).We found that DPA peaks have different biases for different cryptographic algorithms and *** on these biases,we can successfully attack a block cipher,assuming that the cipher algorithm uses a secret key in its first round,without the knowledge of the cipher algorithm or *** rounds can be treated as a black *** present a detailed theoretical analysis and experiment to demonstrate the correctness and efficiency of our ***,our scheme has demonstrated an improvement over the leakage evaluation scheme due to Ichikawa et al.(CHES {2.05).Our evaluation method can be used in electronic design automatic (EDA) flows and can help security circuit designers to understand the data leakage due to SCAs.

The elliptic azimuthal anisotropy coefficient(v_(2.)of the identified particles at midrapidity(|η|lisions at√s_(NN)=5.02.TeV using a multi-phase transport model(AMPT).The calculations of differential v_(2.based on the advanced flow extraction method of light flavor hadrons(pions,kaons,protons,andΛ)in small collision systems were extended to a wider transverse momentum(p_(T))range of up to 8 GeV/c for the first *** string-melting version of the AMPT model provides a good description of the measured p_(T)-differential v_(2.of the mesons but exhibits a slight deviation from the baryon v_(2..In addition,we observed the features of mass ordering at low p_(T)and the approximate number-of-constituentquark(NCQ)scaling at intermediate p_(T).Moreover,we demonstrate that hadronic rescattering does not have a significant impact on v_(2.in p-Pb collisions for different centrality selections,whereas partonic scattering dominates in generating the elliptic anisotropy of the final *** study provides further insight into the origin of collective-like behavior in small collision systems and has referential value for future measurements of azimuthal anisotropy.

Effect of cooling method on TiN precipitation behavior of high-titanium high-strength steel during solidification

Metallographic microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and TiN growth thermodynamic and kinetic equations were used to investigate the morphology,quantity,and size of TiN in the center of high-titanium high-strength steels under different solidification cooling *** results showed that TiN in the center of the experimental steels mainly existed in three forms:single,composite(Al2.3-TiN),and multi-particle *** began precipitating at around 1497℃(solidification fraction of 0.74).From the end of melting to solidification for 180 s,the cooling rates in the center of the experimental steels for furnace cooling,air cooling,refractory mold cooling,and cast iron mold cooling tended to stabilize at 0.17,0.93,1.65,and 2.15℃/s,*** size of TiN in the center of the experimental steel cooled using furnace cooling was mainly concentrated in the 5-15 pm *** contrast,the size of TiN in the center of the experimental steels cooled using air cooling,refractory mold cooling,and cast iron mold cooling were mainly concentrated in the 1-5 pm *** addition,their density of TiN in the center of the experimental steels is signif-icantly higher than that of the furnace-cooled experimental *** and kinetic precipitation models of TiN established predicted the growth size of TiN in a high-titanium high-strength steel when the solidification cooling rates are not below 0.93℃/s.
