The dynamic characteristics of the large scale coherent structures in a forced free shear layer are experi- mentally studied by means of flow visualization. The quantitative measurements are acquired by the use of a LDV. It is shown that the development of the coherent structures can be greatly influenced by upstream artificial perturbations and as a result the mixing in the layer can be controlled. Like vortex merging, vortex splitting is also a common evolu- tion pattern in the development of the coherent structures.

The velocity ratio of a free shear layer has an important influence on the spatial development of the large scale coherent structures in the layer. In this study, numerical simulations are performed to get an insight into this problem. The obtained numerical results agree quite well with those of a linear inviscid stability theory and the available experimental data.

基于井筒环空气液两相流流型的分类及特点,建立适合于直井、斜井的井筒环空段塞流、环状流水动力学模型及环空流型过渡准则。基于井筒环空多相流特性,以液膜区域为控制单元,考虑油管膜、套管膜双层液膜的存在及气芯中液滴对质量、动量传递的影响,推导了环空段塞流、环状流质量、动量守恒方程,得到了段塞流与分散泡状流、泡状流及环状流间的流型过渡准则。根据已发表文献中的实验条件,采用本文模型与校正后的圆管模型预测了不同气、液相表观速度下的流型、持液率及压力梯度。结果表明:采用本文模型可以比较准确地预测环空流型、持液率及压降梯度,且预测持液率、压力梯度的准确性优于校正后的圆管模型。

PH20 is a member of the human hyaluronidase family that degrades hyaluronan in the extracellular matrix and controls tumor *** of DNA methyltransferases(DNMTs)leads to elevated hyaluronan levels;however,whether DNMT inhibitors control PH20 remains ***,we report that the DNMT1 inhibitor,decitabine,suppresses PH20 expression by activating the long non-coding RNA PHACTR2-AS1(PAS1).PAS1 forms a tripartite complex with the RNA-binding protein vigilin and histone methyltransferase *** interaction between PAS1 and vigilin maintains the stability of ***,PAS1 recruits SUV39H1 to trigger the H3K9 methylation of PH20,resulting in its ***,PAS1 inhibits breast cancer growth and metastasis,at least partially,by suppressing *** therapy of decitabine and PAS1-30nt-RNA,which directly binds to SUV39H1,effectively blocked breast cancer growth and metastasis in *** together,DNMT1,PAS1,and PH20 comprise a regulatory axis to control breast cancer growth and *** findings reveal that the DNMT1-PAS1-PH20 axis is a potential therapeutic target for breast cancer.

AlN-SiC whisker composites with Y2O3 and SiO2 additives were heat-treated at 1300 ℃ in air. The phase composition and microstrurture were analyzed using XRD, SEM and HREM techniques to study the effect of heat-treatment on the microstructure and properties of the composites. The results reveal that the mechanical properties and high temperature oxidation resistance of the composite of ivhich additives composition approaches the eutectic point of Y2O3-SiO2 can be improved through the heat-treatment. Glass phase in the grain boundary is observed to react with the surface composition of AlN forming fibrous 2Hδ Sialon, resulting a crossing structure produced by fibrous 2Hδ Sialon and SiC whiskers.

Si2N2O powder was synthesized by car-bothermal reduction and nitridation natural quartz powder. At the same time, the effects of the process parameters such as SiO2/C ratio, temperature and time on the compositions of products were analysed. It is found that the compositions of products depend closely on the parameters mentioned above, and that the product containing higher Si2N2O phase could be obtained by choosing suitable process parameters.

Basal-like breast cancer with a luminal progenitor gene expression profile is an aggressive subtype of breast cancer with a poorer prognosis compared with other ***,genes that specifically promote basal-like breast cancer development remain largely ***,we report that a novel gene C1orf106 plays an important role in maintaining the feature of basal-like/luminal progenitors.C1orf106 is frequently amplified and overexpressed in basal-like breast cancer and is associated with a poor outcome in *** human TCGA database,C1orf106 expression was correlated with upregulation of ELF5 and downregulation of GATA3,two transcription factors that regulate mammary gland stem cell *** expression of C1orf106 promotes tumor progression and expression of basal-like/luminal progenitor marker ELF5;depletion of C1orf106 suppresses tumorigenesis and expression of basal-like/luminal progenitor marker *** findings suggest that C1orf106 maintains the basal-like/luminal progenitor character through balancing the expression of ELF5 and *** together,we demonstrated that C1orf106 is an important regulator for basal-like/luminal progenitors and targeting C1orf106 is of therapeutic value for breast cancer.
