THE altered deformation zone type Au (Ag) deposits share an important part from the precious metallicore deposits in the yunkai area, South{1.. Their formation is a history of poly-stage evolution. Pre- liminary source strata, Calidoniam metamorphism, Indosinian-Yanshanian ductile shear deformation andassociated hydrotheraml alteration all play certain roles in the history. This note discusses the geochemical conditional of the hydrothermal fluids during mineralization. Two representative ore deposits, the Pangxidong Ag(Au) deposit and Hetai Au deposits are selectedfor this study. They are hosted in altered ductile shear zones. Wall-rock hydrothermal alteration is bothspatially and temporally associated with the development of the ductile shear system. Silicification occurred throughout the whole alteration process. Cenxi Permian basalts are the late Palaeozoic island-arc type basalts first found in South china. REE and trace element characteristics and distribution patterns show that this volcanic formation, which has been isotopically dated at 2.1.MaB.P. by the 39Ar/ 40Ar method, is of an active continental marginal island arc type, and that the tectonic environment at that time was an island-arc marginal sea or minor ocean basin related with the paleo-Tethyan tectonic belt in western Guangdong-eastern Guangxi.

The system with one floating rectangular body on the free surface and one submerged rectangular body has been applied to a wave energy conversion device in water of finite depth. The radiation problem by this device on a plane incident wave is solved by the use of an eigenfunction expansion method, and a new analytical expression for the radiation velocity potential is obtained. The wave excitation force is calculated via the known incident wave potential and the radiation potential with a theorem of Haskind employed. To verify the correctness of this method, an example is computed respectively through the bound element method and analytical method. Results show that two numerical methods. are in good agreement, which shows that the present method is applicable. In addition, the trends of hydrodynamic coefficients and wave force are analyzed under different conditions by use of the present analytical method.

In this paper, the authors present the results of a preliminary experimental study on partial melting of fine-grained gabbro, Panzhihua, Sichuan Province, china. Experiments were conducted under (confining) pressure ranging from 450 to 500 MPa and temperature of 900— 1.00℃. The results show that the initial melt is distributed along grain boundaries and triple junctions. Liquid immiscibility phenomena are noted in the melt with two compositional different melt phases, i.e. matrix and sphere phases. The matrix phase is relatively rich in Si, Al and K, and is depleted in Mg, Fe, Ca, Na and Ti, whereas the sphere phase shows opposite trends. The calculation of the melt free energy indicates that the liquid immiscibility is governed by the rule of thermodynamics, as the liquid immiscibility would result in the decrease in free energy of the melt system. The field relationships suggest that the liquid immiscibility may have played an important role in the generation of ore magma of Panzhihua V-Ti magnetite ore deposit. This study thus provides experimental constraints on the mechanism of the formation of V-Ti magnetite deposite.

GOLD mineralization popularly occurs in Funiushan area. Based on the studies on more than 40 gold deposits or ore spots, it is shown that most of them are small in scale except the Pengou gold deposit, whichcan be developed into a medium one. The Pengou is a gold deposit of medium-low temperature hydrothermal type. 1.Geological setting The Funiushan gold mineralization zone lying in the contiguous region of Nanzhao, Fangcheng andLushan Counties, Henan Province, is stituated on the tectonic and geochemical boundary between theNorth china block and Qinling Orogenic belt, and transverses the two first-grade tectonic units. Thehost rocks are mainly the strata of Xionger group （Pt2./sub> ） and the Funiushan granitic batholith. The Penggougold deposit is just located on the large-scale fault of {1.tang-Guihe. A series of metamorphic rocks ofXionger Group outcroped in the north of the deposit. 2.The features of deposit The ore bodies mostly appear in thick plate with sag-and-swell variation. The gold-bearing alterationzone from upper to lower layers can be divided as granite→ pyritization and phyllic alteration→ alteredgranitic porphyry→quartz vein→pyritization and phyllic alteration→cataclastic granite with phyllic alteration, i. e. the upper and lower gold-bearing layers can be separated by the altered granite. The condensates are generally characterized by high maturity,low concentration of steranes and ter-panes biomarkers and low content of non-hydrocarbon fraction. In this case commonly used steranes,terpanes and carbazoles parameters cannot be effectively applied in the reservoir-filling tracing. The hydrogen bond formed by sulfur atom in the dibenzothiophenes (DBTs) results in molecule adsorption and fractionation during oil migration in reservoir. Like carbazoles,total DBTs content decreases with the increasing of oil migration distance. Therefore,a new parameter——total DBTs content is proposed to be used to trace the oil migration orientation and filling pathway. In present study,total DBTs con-tents of condensates and light oils are obtained by adding internal standard——eight deuterium atoms substituted DBT during Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry analysis of aromatic fraction. Except for a few samples with much lower content of non-hydrocarbon fraction,the total DBTs content shows a fine positive correlation with that of carbazoles. Large errors can be caused in the process of pyrrolic nitrogen compounds separation. The application of this new parameter in the Fushan Depression of Beibu Gulf Basin,South china Sea indicates that this parameter is a reliable one to trace filling pathway in condensate reservoirs. Combined with other DBTs-related parameters,such as 4-/1.methydibenzo-thiophene and 2.4-/1.4-dimethyldibenzothiophene,oil migration orientation and filling pathway of the Fushan Depression was determined. The accumulations of Huachang oil field in the Fushan Depres-sion are mainly migrated and charged from northeast to southeast along the Huachang uplift. It can be predicated that the light oil and condensates in the Huachang oil field should be sourced from the source kitchen at the Bailian Sag. It shows that total DBTs content is an effective parameter to tracing oil migration orientation and filling pathway.

Eclogites have been recently reported in the interior of the Tibetan Plateau, including in the central Qiangtang metamorphic belt, in the Basu metamorphic massif of the eastern Bangong-Nujiang suture zone, and at Songdo and Pengco in the eastern Lhasa terrane. Some typical ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) metamorphic phenomena, e.g., garnet exsolution from clinopyroxene, were documented in the Basu and Pengco eclogites. The UHP metamorphism in the interior of the Tibetan Plateau marked by these eclogites generally took place in the Early Mesozoic. Along with exhumation of these eclogites, (post-) collision-related magmatism extensively occurred around the central Qiangtang belt, the eastern Ban-gong-Nujiang suture zone, and the eastern Lhasa terrane. The occurrence of these Early Mesozoic ec-logites manifests an out-of-sequence evolution of the Tethys, and they could be a product of diachro-nous collision between the eastern Qiangtang terrane and the irregular continental margin of the united western Qiangtang-Lhasa plate, along the linked eastern Bangong-Nujiang-central Qiangtang zone. The collision-related magmatic rocks could have been originated from lithospheric thickening, melting, or detachment due to the collision. The presence of UHP metamorphic rocks in central Qiangtang and Basu implies likely continental deep-subduction, and the denudation of these two metamorphic zones could have served as the source of the Triassic turbidites in the Songpan-Garzê complex and the Ju-rassic turbidites in the western Bangong-Nujiang zone, respectively. However, studies of the eclogites in the interior of the Tibetan Plateau just began, and many principal aspects still remain to be explored, such as their distributions, typical lithologies and minerals, temperature-pressure conditions, timing of formation and exhumation, protoliths and tectonic setting, and relationship with the evolution of the Tethys and large-scale basins in Tibet.
