A three-dimensional reconstruction of rough fracture surfaces of hydraulically fractured rock outcrops is carried out by casting process,a large-scale experimental setup for visualizing rough fractures is built to perform proppant transport *** typical characteristics of proppant transport and placement in rough fractures and its intrinsic mechanisms are investigated,and the influences of fracture inclination,fracture width and fracturing fluid viscosity on proppant transport and placement in rough fractures are *** results show that the rough fractures cause variations in the shape of the flow channel and the fluid flow pattern,resulting in the bridging buildup during proppant transport to form unfilled zone,the emergence of multiple complex flow patterns such as channeling,reverse flow and bypassing of sand-carrying fluid,and the influence on the stability of the sand *** proppant has a higher placement rate in inclined rough fractures,with a maximum increase of 22.16 percentage points in the experiments compared to vertical fractures,but exhibits poor stability of the sand *** fracture width aggravates the bridging of proppant and induces higher pumping *** the viscosity of the fracturing fluid can weaken the proppant bridging phenomenon caused by the rough fractures.

In order to accelerate the research on the property optimization of titanium alloy based on high-throughput methods,it is necessary to reveal the relationship between hardness and other mechanical properties which is still *** this work,taking Ti20C alloy as research object,almost all the microstructure of dual-phase titanium alloys were covered by traversing over 100 heat treatment ***,massive experiments including microstructure characterization and performance test were conducted,obtaining 51,590 pieces of microstructure data and 3591 pieces of mechanical property ***,based on large-scale data-driven technology,the quantitative mapping relationship between hardness and other mechanical properties was deeply *** results of random forest models showed that the correlation between hardness(H)and Charpy impact energy(A_(k))(or elongation,A)was hardly dependent on the microstructure types,while the relationship between H and tensile strength(R_(m))(or yield strength,R_(p0.2))was highly dependent on microstructure ***,combined with statistical analysis,it was found that the relationship between H and Ak(or A)were negatively ***,the relationship between H and strength was positively linear for equiaxed microstructure,and strength was linked to d^(−1/2)(d,equivalent circle diameter)ofα-grains in the form of classical Hall–Petch formula;but for other microstructures,the relationships were ***,the above rules were nearly the same in the rolling direction and transverse ***,a"four-quadrant partition map"between H and R_(p0.2)/R_(m) was established as a versatile material-screening tool,which can provide guidance for on-demand selection of titanium alloys.

Phase behavior of gas condensate in porous media using real-time computed tomography scanning

The phase behavior of gas condensate in reservoir formations differs from that in pressure-volume-temperature(PVT)cells because it is influenced by porous media in the reservoir *** was used as a sample to investigate the influence of porous media on the phase behavior of the gas *** pore structure was first analyzed using computed tomography(CT)scanning,digital core technology,and a pore network *** sandstone core sample was then saturated with gas condensate for the pressure depletion *** each pressure-depletion state was stable,realtime CT scanning was performed on the *** scanning results of the sample were reconstructed into three-dimensional grayscale images,and the gas condensate and condensate liquid were segmented based on gray value discrepancy to dynamically characterize the phase behavior of the gas condensate in porous *** network models of the condensate liquid ganglia under different pressures were built to calculate the characteristic parameters,including the average radius,coordination number,and tortuosity,and to analyze the changing mechanism caused by the phase behavior change of the gas *** types of condensate liquid(clustered,branched,membranous,and droplet ganglia)were then classified by shape factor and Euler number to investigate their morphological changes dynamically and *** results show that the dew point pressure of the gas condensate in porous media is 12.7 MPa,which is 0.7 MPa higher than 12.0 MPa in PVT *** average radius,volume,and coordination number of the condensate liquid ganglia increased when the system pressure was between the dew point pressure(12.7 MPa)and the pressure for the maximum liquid dropout,Pmax(10.0 MPa),and decreased when it was below *** volume proportion of clustered ganglia was the highest,followed by branched,membranous,and droplet *** study provides crucial experimental evidence for the phase behavior chan

The balancing of the electrochemical performance,mechanical stability,and processing technology for applying supercapacitors to flexible and wearable electronics continues to encounter severe ***,we prepare Ni-Co-Mn hydroxide electrodes with a threedimensional multichannel structure via a simple hydrothermal *** are constructed using vertically contiguous nano sheets with a uniform thickness and rough *** electrodes can provide numerous electroactive sites and accelerate the transmission of electrolyte *** relationship between the structure and electrochemical performances is verified by experiments and theoretical ***-dimensional(2D)planar and one-dimensional(1D)fiber electrodes are prepared using a flexible carbon cloth(CC)and carbon fiber(CF),respectively,as *** assembled quasi-solid-state flexible asymmetric supercapacitor(FASC)with a twodimensional sandwich structure using NiCoMn-OH/CC as the electrode achieves a remarkable energy density of73.8 Wh·kg^(-1)at a power density of 1.03 kW·kg^(-1).The quasi-solid-state FASC with a 1D linear structure using NiCoMn-OH/CF as the electrode also attains a high energy density(12.9 Wh·kg^(-1)at a power density of0.75 W·kg^(-1)).Moreover,the electrochemical performances of the NiCoMn/CC//AC/CC and NiCoMn/CF//AC/CF FASCs are not disturbed at different bending angles(0°,45°,90°,135°and 180°),This indicates the superior flexibility of the *** also assemble a self-powered energy-harvesting storage system by integrating FASCs and commercial solar cells to verify its *** displays sustainable development potential for energy storage.

Novel Pt(IV) complex OAP2 induces STINg activation and pyroptosis via mitochondrial membrane remodeling for synergistic chemo-immunotherapy

Mitochondrial membrane remodeling can trigger the release of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), leading to the activation of cellular oxidative stress and immune responses. While the role of mitochondrial membrane remodeling in promoting inflammation in hepatocytes is well-established, its effects on tumors have remained unclear. In this study, we designed a novel Pt(IV) complex, OAP2, which is composed of oxaliplatin (Oxa) and acetaminophen (APAP), to enhance its anti-tumor effects and amplify the immune response. Our findings demonstrate that OAP2 induces nuclear DNA damage, resulting in the production of nuclear DNA. Additionally, OAP2 downregulates the expression of mitochondrial Sam50, to promote mitochondrial membrane remodeling and trigger mtDNA secretion, leading to double-stranded DNA accumulation and ultimately synergistically activating the intracellular cgAS-STINg pathway. The mitochondrial membrane remodeling induced by OAP2 overcomes the limitations of Oxa in activating the STINg pathway and simultaneously promotes gasdermin-D-mediated cell pyroptosis. OAP2 also promotes dendritic cell maturation and enhances the quantity and efficacy of cytotoxic T cells, thereby inhibiting cancer cell proliferation and metastasis. Briefly, our study introduces the first novel small-molecule inhibitor that regulates mitochondrial membrane remodeling for active immunotherapy in anti-tumor research, which may provide a creative idea for targeting organelle in anti-tumor therapy.

Passive neutron multiplicity device for^(240)Pu measurement based on FPgA

A passive neutron multiplicity measurement device,FH-NCM/S1,based on field-programmable gate arrays(FPgAs),is developed specifically for measuring the mass of plutonium-240(^(240)Pu)in mixed oxide ***-NCM/S1 adopts an inte-grated approach,combining the shift register analysis mode with the pulse-position timestamp mode using an *** optimal effective length of the^(3)He neutron detector was determined to be 30 cm,and the thickness of the graphite reflector was ascertained to be 15 cm through MCNP *** fabricating the device,calibration measurements were per-formed using a^(252)Cf neutron source;a detection efficiency of 43.07%and detector die-away time of 55.79μs were *** samples of plutonium oxide were measured under identical conditions using the FH-NCM/S1 in shift register analysis mode and a plutonium waste multiplicity *** obtained double rates underwent corrections for detection efficiency(ε)and double gate fraction(f_(d)),resulting in corrected double rates(D_(c)),which were used to validate the accuracy of the shift register analysis ***,the device exhibited fluctuations in the measurement results,and within a single 20 s measurement,these fluctuations remained below 10%.After 30 cycles,the relative error in the mass of^(240)Pu was less than 5%.Finally,correlation calculations confirmed the robust consistency of both measurement *** study holds specific significance for the subsequent design and development of neutron multiplicity devices.
