The macroscopically localized deformation behaviors of Ni–Co-based superalloys with differentγ’precipitate content were investigated at 500?C and 1×10-4 s-1 via an in situ method namely,digital image correlation(DIC).The DIC results showed that the serrated flow of the stress–strain curves was accompanied by localized deformation of the *** fracture morphology was characterized mainly by transgranular fracture with numerous dimples in the lowγ’content alloy,and intergranular fracture with large fracture section in the highγ’content *** Portevin–Le Chatelier(PLC)effect occurred in the investigated Ni–Co-based ***,the localized deformation of the highγ’content alloy was more severe than that of the lowγ’content alloy,and the band width was slightly ***,for the first-time ever,a special propagation feature,namely±60?zigzag bands characterized by head-to-tail connections,was observed in the highγ’content alloy.

A Diesel Particulate Filter(DPF)is a critical device for diesel engine exhaust products *** using active-regeneration purification methods,on the one hand,a spatially irregular gas flow can produce relatively high local temperatures,potentially resulting in damage to the carrier;On the other hand,the internal temperature field can also undergo significant changes contributing to increase this *** study explores the gas flow uniformity in a DPF carrier and the related temperature behavior under drop-to-idle(DTI)condition by means of bench *** is shown that the considered silicon carbide carrier exhibits good flow uniformity,with a temperature deviation of no more than 2%with respect to the same radius measurement point at the outlet during the regeneration *** the DTI test,the temperature is relatively high within r/2 near the outlet end,where the maximum temperature peak occurs,and the maximum radial temperature gradient is located between r/2 and the *** these quantities grow as the soot load increases,thereby making the risk of carrier burnout ***,it is shown that the soot load limit of the silicon carbide DPF can be extended to 11 g/L,which reduces the frequency of active regeneration by approximately 40%compared to a cordierite DPF.

Using natural product-based antifouling coatings has proven to be an effective strategy to combat ***,their antifouling mechanisms are still *** this study,the antifouling mechanism of natural product-based coatings consisting of bio-sourced poly(lactic acid)-based polyurethane and ecofriendly antifoulant(butenolide)derived from marine bacteria was revealed by observing 3D bacterial motions utilizing a 3D tracking technique-digital holographic microscopy(DHM).As butenolide content increases,the density of planktonic marine bacteria(Pseudomonas sp.)near the surface decreases and thus leads to a reduced adhesion,indicating that butenolide elicits the adaptive response of Pseudomonas *** escape from the ***,among these remained cells,an increased percentage is found to undergo subdiffusive motions compared with the case of smaller dose of *** experiments show that butenolide can accelerate their swimming velocity and reduce flick *** assay confirms that butenolide-based coating shows high efficacy of antifouling performance against Pseudomonas *** without killing them like 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one(DCOIT).

Graphene has been successfully modified with palladium nanoparticles in a facile manner by reducing palladium acetate [Pd(OAc)2] in the present of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), which is used as both surfactant and the reducing agent. The palladium nanoparticle-graphene hybrids (Pd-graphene hybrids) are characterized by high- resolution transmission electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. We demonstrate that the Pd-graphene hybrids can act as an efficient catalyst for the Suzuki reaction under aqueous and aerobic conditions, with the reaction reaching completion in as little as 5 min. The influence of the preparation conditions on the catalytic activities of the hybrids is also investigated.

We have chosen the Large Scale Atomic/Molecular Massively Parallel Simulator (LAMMPS) code to calculate the coalescence of silicon carbide (SiC),silicon oxide dust (SiO) in the AGB stellar *** is a classica molecular dynamics simulation *** the same time,we consider the effect of temperature on the evolution of molecular *** also calculated the temperature change of non-spherical SiC,SiO dust *** condensation temperature range of SiC dust in the AGB stellar wind is[300–500]k and[900–1100]k for SiO Finally,the infrared spectrum of SiC was calculated using Gaussian 16 *** 77SiC,70Si_(3)C_(3),and 121Si_(3)C_(3) models have clear characteristic peaks of infrared spectra responding at 5,8.6,11.3,15,19,and 37μm.

The recretohalophyte Limonium bicolor thrives in high-salinity environments because salt glands on the above-ground parts of the plant help to expel excess ***,we characterize a nucleus-localized C3HC4(RING-HC)-type zinc finger protein of *** named RING ZINC FINGER PROTEIN 1(LbRZF1).LbRZF1 was expressed in salt glands and in response to NaCl ***1 showed no E3 ubiquitin ligase *** phenotypes of overexpression and knockout lines for LbRZF1 indicated that LbRZF1 positively regulated salt gland development and salt tolerance in ***1 mutants had fewer salt glands and secreted less salt than did the wild-type,whereas LbRZF1-overexpressing lines had opposite phenotypes,in keeping with the overall salt tolerance of these plants.A yeast two-hybrid screen revealed that LbRZF1 interacted with LbCATALASE2(LbCAT2)and the transcription factor LbMYB113,leading to their *** of LbCAT2 or LbMYB113 decreased salt gland density and salt *** heterologous expression of LbRZF1 in Arabidopsis thaliana conferred salt tolerance to this *** also identified the transcription factor LbMYB48 as an upstream regulator of LbRZF1 *** study of LbRZF1 in the regulation network of salt gland development also provides a good foundation for transforming crops and improving their salt resistance.

Influence of N doping and the functional groups of graphene on a RGO/TiO2 composite photocatalyst

Reduced graphene oxide(RGO)assisted TiO2 composite photocatalysts have attracted increased attention because of their high photocatalytic performance under both UV-and visible-light ***,the corresponding properties under the long wavelength irradiation is far from *** this study,a series of RGO samples with well-designed N impurity and optimized surface functional groups are prepared and employed during hybridization with TiO2(named N-RGO/TiO2).The coupling between the doped N atoms and surface functional groups is analyzed based on the resulting photocatalytic performances,and the specific mechanism is revealed by the EPR,IR and lifetime of the photoinduced *** comparing the corresponding performances of the RGO/TiO2 and RGO/N-TiO2 specimens,the results show that the surface functional groups of the RGO serve as a precondition to achieveπ-d coupling between the graphene basal plane and TiO2 nanoparticles,while N atoms in the RGO enhance the resulting photoactivity under a long wavelength range(>510 nm).The findings provide a potential approach to promote the photocatalytic properties of graphene-based composite photocatalysts with the low-energy incident photons.

Periodical mixing of MORB magmas near East Pacific Rise 13°N: Evidence from modeling and zoned plagioclase phenocrysts

Thirty-six basalt samples from near East Pacific Rise 13°N are analyzed for major and trace elements. Different types of zoned plagioclase phenocrysts in basalts are also backscatter imaged, and major element profiles scanned and analyzed for microprobe. Basalts dredged from a restricted area have evolved to different extents (MgO=9.38wt%—6.76wt%). High MgO basalts are modeled for crystalliza-tion to MgO of about 7wt%, and resulted in the Ni contents (≈28 ppm) that are generally lower than that in observed basalts (>60 ppm). It suggests that low MgO basalts may have experienced more intensive magma mixing. High MgO (9.38wt%) basalt is modeled for self-"mixing-crystallization", and the high Ni contents in low MgO basalts can be generated in small scale and periodical self-mixing of new magma (high MgO). "Mixing-crystallization" processes that low MgO magmas experienced accord with recent 226Ra/230Th disequilibria studies for magma residence time, in which low MgO magmas have experi-enced more circles of "mixing-crystallization" in relatively longer residence time. Magma mixing is not homogeneous in magma chamber, however, low MgO magmas are closer to stable composition pro-duced by periodical "mixing-crystallization", which is also an important reason for magma diversity in East Pacific Rise. Zoned plagioclase phenocrysts can be divided into two types: with and without high An# cores, both of which have multiple reversed An# zones, suggesting periodical mixing of their host magmas. Cores of zoned plagioclase in low MgO (7.45wt%) basalt differ significantly with their mantle in An#, but are similar in An# with microlite cores (products of equilibrium crystallization) in high MgO (9.38wt%) basalt, which further shows that plagioclase phenocryst cores in low MgO basalts may have formed in their parental magmas before entering into the magma chamber.

Deep Fractionation of Clinopyroxene in the East Pacific Rise 13°N:Evidence from High MgO MORB and Melt Inclusions

Mid-ocean ridge basalts （MORBs） from East Pacific Rise （EPR） 13°N are analysed for major and trace elements, both of which show a continuous evolving trend. Positive MgO-Al2O3 and negative MgO-Sc relationships manifest the cotectic crystallization of plagioclase and olivine, which exist with the presence of plagioclase and olivine phenocrysts and the absence of clinopyroxene phenoerysts. However, the fractionation of clinopyroxene is proven by the positive correlation of MgO and CaO. Thus, MORB samples are believed to show a “clinopyroxene paradox”. The highest magnesium-bearing MORB sample E13-3B （MGO=9.52%） is modelled for isobaric crystallization with COMAGMAT at different pressures. Observed CaO/Al2O3 ratios can be derived from E13-3B only by fractional crystallization at pressure 〉4±1 kbar, which necessitates clinopyroxene crystallization and is not consistent with cotectic crystallization of olivine plus plagioclase in the magma chamber （at pressure -1 kbar）. The initial compositions of the melt inclusions, which could represent potential parental magmas, are reconstructed by correcting for post-entrapment crystallization （PEC）. The simulated crystallization of initial melt inclusions also produce observed CaO/Al2O3 ratios only at 〉4±1 kbar, in which clinopyroxene takes part in crystallization. It is suggested that MORB magmas have experienced clinopyroxene fractionation in the lower crust, in and below the Moho transition zone. The MORB magmas have experienced transition from clinopyroxene＋plagioclase＋olivine crystallization at 〉4±1 kbar to mainly olivine＋plagioclase crystallization at 〈1 kbar, which contributes to the explanation of the “clinopyroxene paradox”.

A Prior Information Enhanced Extraction Framework for Document-level Financial Event Extraction

Document-level financial event extraction(DFEE) is the task of detecting events and extracting the corresponding event arguments in financial documents, which plays an important role in information extraction in the financial domain. This task is challenging as the financial documents are generally long text and event arguments of one event may be scattered in different sentences. To address this issue, we proposed a novel Prior Information Enhanced Extraction framework(PIEE) for DFEE, leveraging prior information from both event types and pre-trained language models. Specifically, PIEE consists of three components: event detection, event argument extraction, and event table filling. In event detection, we identify the event type. Then, the event type is explicitly used for event argument extraction. Meanwhile, the implicit information within language models also provides considerable cues for event arguments localization. Finally, all the event arguments are filled in an event table by a set of predefined heuristic rules. To demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed framework, we participated in the share task of CCKS2020 Task 4-2: Documentlevel Event Arguments Extraction. On both Leaderboard A and Leaderboard B, PIEE took the first place and significantly outperformed the other systems.
