Evolution of the elastic properties of lacustrine organic shales under different thermal maturity conditions

Research on the elastic responses of organic-rich shales during thermal evolution has predominantly focused on North American marine shales. However, the rock physics properties of lacustrine(continental) organic-rich shales with varying maturities, particularly under the unique geological conditions in China, have not yet been comprehensively explored. Therefore,characterizing the elastic properties of lacustrine organic-rich shales across various maturity stages is crucial for understanding their seismic rock physics responses and for enabling the identification of sweet spots in continental shale reservoirs using logging and seismic data, as well as facilitating geophysical monitoring of the in-situ conversion of oil shales. In this study,hydrous pyrolysis experiments were conducted on immature shales from the Chang 7 member of the Yanchang Formation in the Ordos Basin and the Jijuntun Formation in the Fushun Basin. Compressional and shear wave velocities, along with elastic anisotropy, were measured at various stages of thermal maturity to observe the evolution of the elastic properties. For the Chang7 shale(compacted shale), both P-and S-wave velocities perpendicular to the bedding decreased significantly during the oil and gas generation stages, with the S-wave velocity perpendicular to the bedding decreasing by over 40%. Meanwhile, the elastic anisotropy increased significantly, likely because of microcracks formed by hydrocarbon expulsion from the bedding-parallel organic matter. In contrast, the Jijuntun Formation shale(cemented shale) exhibited an increase in both P-and S-wave velocities during the oil generation stage. This trend could be attributed to early-stage cementation, which suppressed microcrack formation, while the increase in the elastic modulus of the organic matter became dominant. Constraints on triggered seismicity and its control on permeability evolution

Triggered seismicity is a key hazard where fluids are injected or withdrawn from the subsurface and may impact permeability. Understanding the mechanisms that control fluid injection-triggered seismicity allows its mitigation. Key controls on seismicity are defined in terms of fault and fracture strength, second-order frictional response and stability, and competing fluid-driven mechanisms for arrest. We desire to constrain maximum event magnitudes in triggered earthquakes by relating pre-existing critical stresses to fluid injection volume to explain why some recorded events are significantly larger than anticipated seismic moment thresholds. This formalism is consistent with several uncharacteristically large fluid injection-triggered earthquakes. Such methods of reactivating fractures and faults by hydraulic stimulation in shear or tensile fracturing are routinely used to create permeability in the subsurface. Microearthquakes (MEQs) generated by such stimulations can be used to diagnose permeability evolution. Although high-fidelity data sets are scarce, the EGS-Collab and Utah FORGE hydraulic stimulation field demonstration projects provide high-fidelity data sets that concurrently track permeability evolution and triggered seismicity. Machine learning deciphers the principal features of MEQs and the resulting permeability evolution that best track permeability changes – with transfer learning methods allowing robust predictions across multiple eological settings. Changes in permeability at reactivated fractures in both shear and extensional modes suggest that permeability change (Δk) scales with the seismic moment (M) of individual MEQs as Δk∝M. This scaling relation is exact at early times but degrades with successive MEQs, but provides a method for characterizing crustal permeability evolution using MEQs, alone. 利用Skyrme HF+BCS理论以及自洽的QRPA方法研究了镍同位素链原子核的第一个2+态以及矮四极态的性质随中子数增加的演化情况.研究中分别采用了SGII,SLy5以及SkM*三种能量密度泛函以及密度依赖的零程对相互作用.计算得到的镍同位素链原子核第一个2+态的激发能以及电磁跃迁强度能较好地再现实验值.发现70-76Ni的同位旋标量矮四极态共振能量(跃迁强度)随着中子数增加而降低(增加).这是由,于中子1g9/2态的占有概率的增加,由该中子态产生的准粒子激发组态占比增加,组态激发由质子主导渐变为由中子主导产生.并发现镍同位素链原子核矮四极态对壳结构的改变比较敏感,可以为丰中子核的壳演化提供信息.

合成新核素、拓展核素版图是核物理的前沿研究领域。随着重离子加速器的发展,目前已合成到118号元素,但探索更重的区域仍面临严峻挑战。熔合反应是合成超重新元素的传统方法,多核子转移反应是通往“超重稳定岛”的唯一途径,也是将来大规模合成超重新元素最可能的方法。在这两种反应中,锕系核作为靶核发挥着重要作用。本文介绍了合成锕系核的中子俘获反应;总结了国际上用于合成超重元素锕系靶的产生、性质和研究现状;回顾了基于锕系核合成超镄元素的研究以及119、120号新元素的最新进展;对目前国际上反应堆产生重锕系核的现状做了比较,并针对近年来合成原子序数Z>118超重元素面临的困难进行了评述,为将来的新元素合成提出建议。

针对长周期服役P91钢管出现低硬度的材质劣化问题进行了性能恢复热处理试验,利用光学显微镜、扫描电镜及能谱分析对比P91钢性能恢复热处理前后的微观组织及微区成分差异,并测试了其常温及高温力学性能。结果表明:低硬度P91钢性能恢复热处理后常温及短时高温力学性能均达到相关标准要求;长周期服役P91钢硬度大幅降低的主要原因为马氏体的再结晶、碳化物及拉弗斯相的析出长大,通过性能恢复热处理能够将P91钢组织调整为均匀的回火马氏体,粗大的Cr_(23)C_(6)及拉弗斯相回溶,P91钢的综合力学性能得到有效提高。

为探究磨削后残余应力沿层深的变化规律,对弧齿锥齿轮磨削过程进行分析,采用虚拟格子法建立随机分布的多磨粒磨削弧齿锥齿轮模型,并设计单因素仿真方案。首先,设计三因素四水平的正交试验;其次,利用灰色关联分析法深入研究磨削参数对残余应力的影响,获得最优磨削参数组合;最后,建立关联度与磨削参数的预测模型,并验证其准确性。研究结果表明,磨削后的齿面呈现残余压应力状态,最大压应力位于次表层,随深度增加逐渐过渡为拉应力并最终趋于零;磨削参数对残余应力的影响排序为a_(p)(磨削深度)>v_(s)(磨削速度)>v_(w)(进给速度)。随着磨削参数的增大,齿面残余应力均有不同程度的增大。

An improved isospin dependent Boltzmann Langevin model,in which the inelastic channels and momentum dependent interactions are incorporated,is used to investigate the high-density behavior of nuclear symmetry *** taking several forms of nuclear symmetry energy,we calculate the time evolutions of neutron over proton ratio,π multiplicity and π-/π+ ratio,and the kinetic energy and transverse momentum spectra of π-/π+ ratio in the heavy ion collisions at 400A *** is found that the neutron over proton ratio and π-/π+ ratio are very sensitive to the nuclear symmetry energy,and the π-is more sensitive to the nuclear symmetry energy than the π+.A supersoft symmetry energy results in a larger π-/π+ ratio.

Thermo-hydro-mechanical (THM) coupled simulation of the land subsidence due to aquifer thermal energy storage (ATES) system in soft soils

Aquifer thermal energy storage(ATES)system has received attention for heating or cooling ***,it is well known that land subsidence becomes a major environmental concern for ATES ***,the effect of temperature on land subsidence has received practically no attention in the *** paper presents a thermo-hydro-mechanical(THM)coupled numerical study on an ATES system in Shanghai,*** water wells were installed for seasonal heating and cooling of an agriculture *** target aquifer at a depth of 74e104.5 m consisted of alternating layers of sand and silty sand and was covered with *** level,temperature,and land subsidence data from 2015 to 2017 were collected using field monitoring *** by data,we constructed a field scale three-dimensional(3D)model using TOUGH(Transport of Unsaturated Groundwater and Heat)and FLAC3D(Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua)equipped with a thermo-elastoplastic constitutive *** effectiveness of the numerical model was validated by field *** model was used to reproduce groundwater flow,heat transfer,and mechanical responses in porous media over three years and capture the thermo-and pressure-induced land *** results show that the maximum thermoinduced land subsidence accounts for about 60%of the total *** thermo-induced subsidence is slightly greater in winter than that in summer,and more pronounced near the cold well area than the hot well *** study provides some valuable guidelines for controlling land subsidence caused by ATES systems installed in soft soils.

This paper experimentally explores the frictional sliding behavior of two simulated gouges:one,a series of quartz–smectite mixtures,and the other,powdered natural rocks,aiming to evaluate and codify the effect of mineralogy on gouge dilation and frictional strength,stability,and ***,velocity-stepping and slide-hold-slide experiments were performed in a double direct shear configuration to analyze frictional constitutive parameters at room temperature,under normal stresses of 10,20,and 40 *** dilation was measured based on the applied step-wise changes in shear *** frictional response of the quartz–smectite mixtures and powdered natural rocks are affected by their phyllosilicate *** strength and healing rates decrease with increasing phyllosilicate content,and at 20 wt.%a transition from velocity-weakening to velocity-strengthening behavior was *** both suites of gouges,dilation is positively correlated with frictional strength and healing rates,and negatively correlated with frictional *** in the permeability of gouge-filled faults were estimated from changes in mean porosity,indexed through measured magnitudes of gouge *** combined analysis implies that the reactivation of caprock faults filled with phyllosilicaterich gouges may have a strong influence on permeability evolution in caprock faults.

为了解决复杂背景下条形码不易定位识别的难题,提出一种基于Hough变换和深度学习相结合的方法对条形码进行校正定位。首先对待检测图像进行灰度化、高斯模糊以及边缘检测等预处理;然后利用Hough变换检测条形码图像中的线段,进行旋转校正,校正后的图像经Yolov5对条形码进行识别和提取,完成条形码的识别分割。文中方法对不同样式条形码均有较好的识别效果,旋转校正的精确度达到99.31%,识别平均精确度达到99.40%,召回率达到99.79%,推理时间为10.5 ms。提出的方法可对任意角度倾斜进行校正,识别条码具有较高的准确率,对条形码定位识别具有一定的应用价值。
