One of the bottlenecks in the clinical treatment of small cell lung cancer(SCLC)is its susceptibility to multidrug resistance.While SCLC is sensitive to platinum-based chemotherapy at the initial stage of treatment,it can rapidly become drug-resistant,allowing tumor growth to accelerate.A significant decrease in drug sensitivity after recurrence and multidrug resistance can seriously interfere with the effectiveness of treatment,making sensitivity maintenance one of the urgent challenges to be solved.Therefore,discovering prognostic markers for cisplatin chemotherapy and understanding the mechanisms of cisplatin resistance have great practical significance for improving the outcomes of sCLC patients.

In this study,a Ni-Fe metal-organic framework modified by-NH_(2)and-SH was synthesized using a sim-ple hydrothermal process for enhancing photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction.As expected,the N2S-NiFe(NH_(2)-BDC/H_(4)DSBDC,2:1)displayed excellent photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction activity and high CO selectivity(12,412.23μmol g^(−1)h^(−1))under visible light irradiation(λ≥420 nm),which is 5 times that of NiFe-MOF.Notably,the excellent photocatalytic performance of N2S-NiFe can benefit from the rich defect trap site caused by the introduction of amino and sulfhydryl groups,accelerating charge transfer and promoting space charge separation,as supported by the photo-electrochemical properties.To better understand the CO_(2)adsorption mechanism,density functional theory calculations were performed,which revealed that the Niov site has more negative adsorption energy compared with the Feov site.This study provides a simple strategy to establish efficient photocatalysts for CO_(2)reduction through the modification of organic ligands.

Achieving highly efficient long-wavelength phosphorescence emission of large singlet-triplet energy gap materials by host-guest doping

High-efficiency long-wavelength phosphorescence emissions of large singlet-triplet energy gap(ΔE_(ST))materials are essential for applications in biology and display.However,few long-wavelength phosphorescence emissions of largeΔE_(ST)materials have been reported due to the weak spin-orbit coupling(SOC)and strong non-radiative transitions.Herein,we develop a strategy to achieve highly efficient long-wavelength room temperature phosphorescence(RTP)emission of largeΔE_(ST)materials,which display bright red RTP emission with above 400μs lifetime and 6.5%phosphorescent quantum efficiency.Our experiments and theoretical calculations reveal that the fishbone-like packing and the zig-zag interactions provide favorable conditions for suppressing the non-radiative transitions of triplet state excitons,and heavy atoms effectively promote the intersystem crossing(ISC)process for highly efficient long-wavelength phosphorescence emission.The universality of the method for highly efficient long-wavelength RTP emission of largeΔE_(ST)materials was further investigated in various guests.Moreover,these materials with largeΔE_(ST)manifest the advantages of large color contrast on the display and utilization potentiality in information encryption.This strategy paves the way for the high contrast display and development of information encryption with RTP emission.

The urban water system theory is an extension of the basin water system science on an urban scale, providing a new systematic solution for the unbalanced human-water relationship and severe water challenges, such as waterlogging, black and odorous water, and ecological degradation caused by urbanization. Most existing studies on urban water systems have focused on individual water cycle processes linked with water supply and sewage treatment plants, but mutual feedback between the water cycle and its associated material circulation and water ecology, as well as human processes, still needs further exploration. In this paper, the concept, theory, and technical methodology of the urban water system were developed based on the water cycle and basin water system science. The Urban Water System 5.0(UWS 5.0) model was developed by integrating the Time Variant Gain rainfall-runoff Model with Urban water system(TVGM_Urban) in different underlying surface conditions for analyzing the natural-social water cycle processes and their associated water environmental and ecological processes and the influence of multiscale sponge measures. Herein, five major simulation functions were realized: rainfall-runoff-nonpoint source pollutant load,water and pollutant transportations through the drainage network system, terminal regulation and purification, socioeconomic water cycle, and water system assessment and regulation. The location for the case study used in this paper was Wuhan City. The findings showed that the entire urban water system should consider the built-up area and its associated rivers and lakes as the research object and explore the integrations among the urban natural-social water cycle and river regulations inside and outside of the city as well as the effects of socioeconomic development and sponge measures on the water quantity-quality-ecology processes. A Gray code based gradient-free optimization(GCO)algorithm is proposed to update the parameters of parameterized quantum circuits(PQCs)in this work.Each parameter of PQCs is encoded as a binary string,named as a gene,and a genetic-based method is adopted to select the offsprings.The individuals in the offspring are decoded in Gray code way to keep Hamming distance,and then are evaluated to obtain the best one with the lowest cost value in each iteration.The algorithm is performed iteratively for all parameters one by one until the cost value satisfies the stop condition or the number of iterations is reached.The GCO algorithm is demonstrated for classification tasks in Iris and MNIST datasets,and their performance are compared by those with the Bayesian optimization algorithm and binary code based optimization algorithm.The simulation results show that the GCO algorithm can reach high accuracies steadily for quantum classification tasks.Importantly,the GCO algorithm has a robust performance in the noise environment.

The effective modeling of urban growth is crucial for urban planning and analyzing the causes of land-use dynamics.As urbanization has slowed down in most megacities,improved urban growth modeling with minor changes has become a crucial open issue for these cities.Most existing models are based on stationary factors and spatial proximity,which are unlikely to depict spatial connectivity between regions.This research attempts to leverage the power of real-world human mobility and consider intra-city spatial interaction as an imperative driver in the context of urban growth simulation.Specifically,the gravity model,which considers both the scale and distance effects of geographical locations within cities,is employed to characterize the connection between land areas using individual trajectory data from a macro perspective.It then becomes possible to integrate human mobility factors into a neural-network-based cellular automata(ANN-CA)for urban growth modeling in Beijing from 2013 to 2016.The results indicate that the proposed model outperforms traditional models in terms of the overall accuracy with a 0.60%improvement in Cohen’s Kappa coefficient and a 0.41%improvement in the figure of merit.In addition,the improvements are even more significant in districts with strong relationships with the central area of Beijing.For example,we find that the Kappa coefficients in three districts(Chaoyang,Daxing,and Shunyi)are considerably higher by more than 2.00%,suggesting the possible existence of a positive link between intense human interaction and urban growth.This paper provides valuable insights into how fine-grained human mobility data can be integrated into urban growth simulation,helping us to better understand the human-land relationship.

Soybean(Glycine max)stands as a globally significant agricultural crop,and the comprehensive assembly of its genome is of paramount importance for unraveling its biological characteristics and evolutionary history.Nevertheless,previous soybean genome assemblies have harbored gaps and incompleteness,which have constrained in-depth investigations into soybean.Here,we present Telomere-to-Telomere(T2T)assembly of the Chinese soybean cultivar Zhonghuang 13(ZH13)genome,termed ZH13-T2T,utilizing PacBio Hifi and ONT ultralong reads.We employed a multi-assembler approach,integrating Hifiasm,NextDenovo,and Canu,to minimize biases and enhance assembly accuracy.The assembly spans 1,015,024,879 bp,effectively resolving all 393 gaps that previously plagued the reference genome.Our annotation efforts identified 50,564 high-confidence protein-coding genes,707 of which are novel.ZH13-T2T revealed longer chromosomes,421 not-aligned regions(NARs),112 structure variations(SVs),and a substantial expansion of repetitive element compared to earlier assemblies.Specifically,we identified 25.67 Mb of tandem repeats,an enrichment of 5S and 48S rDNAs,and characterized their genotypic diversity.In summary,we deliver the first complete Chinese soybean cultivar T2T genome.The comprehensive annotation,along with precise centromere and telomere characterization,as well as insights into structural variations,further enhance our understanding of soybean genetics and evolution.

为利用频域介电谱准确评估高压交联聚乙烯(XLPE)海缆的绝缘状态,建立考虑直流电导率的修正分数Poynting-Thomson模型(分数P-T模型)以解析高压XLPE海缆的介电特性。首先,通过加速老化试验制备不同老化程度的高压XLPE海缆试样,并测得各组老化试样的力学、理化和介电数据。然后,应用修正分数P-T模型对实测介电曲线进行拟合,对比修正前后分数P-T模型表征实测介电曲线的效果。最后,通过仿真探究模型参数对介电曲线的影响规律,构建模型参数与绝缘程度之间的联系,将提出的老化特征参数与断裂伸长率(EAB)进行量化研究。研究结果表明,修正分数P-T模型能够准确拟合出不同老化程度高压XLPE海缆试样的介电曲线,提出的老化特征参数α、ε_(a)、ε_(b)和σ_(dc)可实现对高压XLPE海缆绝缘状态的量化评估。

Lithospermum erythrorhizon(LE)is a plant of which the root has a long medicinal use history.Modern researches have confirmed the positive effects of LE root extract on human.Also,many effective compositions of this extract have been identified.The benefits brought by LE root extract,such as anti-oxidation and antiinflammation,on human makes it a great additive in cosmetic formula.The composition,benefits,and extracting method were reviewed in this work based on the consideration of applying LE root extract as a cosmetic additive.
