Impact of residential building heating on natural gas consumption in the south of China:Taking Wuhan city as example

With the development of social economy,heating in the south of China has been concerned *** one of the energy sources of decentralized heating,natural gas(NG)has been used more and more *** paper aimed to study the impact of residential building heating on NG consumption,and took Wuhan city,the representative city needing heating in winter of the south of China due to its location and climate,as an ***,a typical residential building model was established through DeST *** heating load was simulated,and the corresponding NG consumption index was ***,appropriate methods were used to forecast the basic data of Wuhan city in 2020,including households and per capita gross national product(GDP),***,the NG consumption of residential buildings with and without heating were ***,the impact of residential building heating on NG consumption was *** results showed that the average annual household heating consumption of residential building in Wuhan city in 2020 was 2100 kWh/household,and the NG consumption using for residential building heating was 295 Nm 3/*** addition,the NG consumption of residential building generated by space heating with 100%heating rate was 2.82 times the NG consumption generated by the stove and water heater,showing that residential building heating had a large impact on NG *** study can contribute to choosing appropriate heating method in the southern cities of China,and further planning the gas pipe network in these cities.

Solvent extraction and separation of light rare earths from chloride media using HDEHP-P350 system

Dynamics and roles of phragmoplast microfilaments in cell plate formation during cytokinesis of tobacco BY-2 cells

The phragmoplast is a special apparatus that functions in establishing a cell plate in dividing plant cells. It is known that microfilaments (MFs) are involved in constituting phragmoplast structure, but the dynamic distribution and role of phragmoplast MFs are far from being understood. In this study, the precise structure and dynamics of MFs during the initiation and the late lateral expansion of the phragmoplast were observed by using a tobacco BY-2 cell line stably expressing the microfilament reporter construct GFP-fABD2. Three-dimensional imaging showed that the phragmoplast MFs were initiated by two populations of MFs emerging between the reconstituting daughter nuclei at anaphase, which migrated to the mid-zone and gave rise to two layers of microfilament arrays. FM4-64 stained vesicles accumulated and fused with the cell plate between the two populations of MFs. The two layers of microfilament arrays of phragmoplast with ends overlapped always surrounded the centrifugally expanding cell plate. Partial disruption of MFs at metaphase by low concentration of latrunculin B resulted in the inhibition of the cell plate consolidation and the blockage of cell plate lateral expansion, whereas high concentration of latrunculin B restrained the progression of the cell cycle. Treating the cell after the initiation of phragmoplast led to the cease of the expansion of the cell plate. Our observations provide new insights into the precise structure and dynamics of phragmoplast MFs during cytokinesis and suggest that dynamic phragmoplast MFs are important in cell plate formation.

Advanced covalent-organic framework materials for sodium-ion battery

Rechargeable sodium-ion batteries(SIBs), being one of the most prominent electrochemical energy storage devices, have garnered significant attention owing to their abundant metal Na resources, cost-effectiveness, and high safety coefficient. Recently, advanced covalent organic frameworks(COFs) have emerged as popular electrode materials in SIBs due to their superior energy-storage performance, including high energy density and long cycle stability, etc. In this review, the recent advancements and obstacles in the field of COFs-based SIBs have been comprehensively summarized. Then, the advantages and working mechanisms of COF electrodes in SIB materials are particularly analyzed. Additionally, a range of modification strategies for COFs are provided to enhance the performance of SIB cells. Finally, the range of rechargeable batteries based on novel COF materials has also been extended to include some other types. This work not only provides a novel entry point for organic energy-storage electrode materials, but also offers an in-depth analysis of the structure-property relationship to facilitate the advancement of COFs-related SIBs.

Numerical modeling and prediction of future response of permafrost to different climate change scenarios on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Projecting the future distribution of permafrost under different climate change scenarios is essential,especially for the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau(QTP).The altitude-response model is used to estimate future permafrost changes on the QTP for the four RCPs(RCP2.6,RCP4.5,RCP6.0,and RCP8.5).The simulation results show the following:(1)from now until 2070,the permafrost will experience different degrees of significant degradation under the four RCP *** will affect 25.68%,40.54%,45.95%,and 62.84%of the current permafrost area,respectively.(2)The permafrost changes occur at different rates during the periods 2030–2050 and 2050–2070 for the four different RCPs.(1)In RCP2.6,the permafrost area decreases a little during the period 2030–2050 but shows a small increase from 2050 to 2070.(2)In RCP4.5,the rate of permafrost loss during the period 2030–2050(about 12.73%)is higher than between 2050 and 2070(about 8.33%).(3)In RCP6.0,the permafrost loss rate for the period 2030–2050(about 16.52%)is similar to that for 2050–2070(about 16.67%).(4)In RCP8.5,there is a significant discrepancy in the rate of permafrost decrease for the periods 2030–2050 and 2050–2070:the rate is only about 3.70%for the first period but about 29.49%during the second.

Gravimetric analysis for PM_(2.5) mass concentration based on year-round monitoring at an urban site in Beijing

Daily PM_（2.5）（particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of below 2.5 μm） mass concentrations were measured by gravimetric analysis in Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences（CRAES）, in the northern part of the Beijing urban area, from December 2013 to April 2015. Two pairs of Teflon（T1/T2） and Quartz（Q1/Q2） samples were obtained, for a total number of 1352 valid filters. Results showed elevated pollution in Beijing,with an annual mean PM_（2.5）mass concentration of 102 μg/m^3. According to the calculated PM_（2.5）mass concentration, 50% of our sampling days were acceptable（PM_（2.5）〈 75 μg/m^3）, 30% had slight/medium pollution（75–150 μg/m^3）, and 7% had severe pollution（〉 250 μg/m^3）. Sampling interruption occurred frequently for the Teflon filter group（75%） in severe pollution periods,resulting in important data being missing. Further analysis showed that high PM_（2.5）combined with high relative humidity（RH） gave rise to the interruptions. The seasonal variation of PM_（2.5）was presented, with higher monthly average mass concentrations in winter（peak value in February, 422 μg/m^3）, and lower in summer（7 μg/m^3 in June）. From May to August, the typical summer period, least severe pollution events were observed, with high precipitation levels accelerating the process of wet deposition to remove PM_（2.5）. The case of February presented the most serious pollution, with monthly averaged PM_（2.5）of 181 μg/m^3 and 32% of days with severe pollution. The abundance of PM_（2.5）in winter could be related to increased coal consumption for heating needs.

Robust prediction of hourly PM2.5 from meteorological data using LightGBM

Retrieving historical fine particulate matter(PM2.5) data is key for evaluating the long-term impacts of PM2.5on the environment, human health and climate change. Satellite-based aerosol optical depth has been used to estimate PM2.5, but estimations have largely been undermined by massive missing values, low sampling frequency and weak predictive capability. Here, using a novel feature engineering approach to incorporate spatial effects from meteorological data, we developed a robust Light GBM model that predicts PM2.5at an unprecedented predictive capacity on hourly（R2= 0.75）, daily（R2= 0.84）, monthly（R2= 0.88） and annual（R2= 0.87） timescales. By taking advantage of spatial features, our model can also construct hourly gridded networks of PM2.5. This capability would be further enhanced if meteorological observations from regional stations were incorporated. Our results show that this model has great potential in reconstructing historical PM2.5datasets and real-time gridded networks at high spatial-temporal resolutions. The resulting datasets can be assimilated into models to produce long-term re-analysis that incorporates interactions between aerosols and physical processes.

A green environmental protection and enhanced leaching process was proposed to recover all elements from spent lithium iron phosphate(LiFePO_(4)) lithium *** order to reduce the influence of Al impurity in the recovery process,NaOH was used to remove *** impurity removal,the spent LiFePO_(4) cathode material was used as raw material under the H_(2)SO_(4) system,and the pressure oxidation leaching process was adopted to achieve the preferential leaching of *** E-pH diagram of the Fe-P-Al-H_(2)O system can determine the stable region of each element in the recovery process of spent LiFePO_(4)*** the optimal conditions(500 r·min^(-1),15 h,363.15 K,0.4 MPa,the liquid-solid ratio was 4:1 ml·g^(-1)and the acid-material ratio was 0.29),the leaching rate of Li was 99.24%,Fe,Al,and Ti were 0.10%,2.07%,and 0.03%,*** Fe and P were precipitated and recovered as FePO_(4)·2H_(2)*** kinetic analysis shows that the process of high-pressure acid leaching of spent LiFePO_(4) materials depends on the surface chemical *** the life cycle assessment(LCA)of the spent LiFePO_(4) whole recovery process,eight midpoint impact categories were selected to assess the impact of recovery *** results can provide basic environmental information on production process for recycling industry.

Nanocrystals provide a variety of size and shape-dependent properties with applications in a wide range of areas, gaining much attention in the past few years. However, due to the nature of the kinetic nanocrystal growth, the procedures often require strict experimental conditions and the shape and size of nanocrystals are difficult to control. In such context, organic templates, which are artificially modified or synthesized, can direct inorganic nanocrystal nucleation and growth to achieve desired shape, size and ultimately properties. In this review article, two general categories of organic templates used for making inorganic nanomaterials are discussed:biotemplates(e.g., peptide, lipid, DNA, and capsid) and block copolymer templates(e.g., block copolymer micelles, star-like block copolymer unimicelles). The goal of this review is to bridge these gaps and help foster a greater awareness of the range and applicability of different organic templating techniques within the field of nanotechnology.

Friction Coefficient Calibration of Sunflower Seeds for Discrete Element Modeling Simulation

Sunflower(Helianthus annuus L.)is one of the four major oil crops in the world and has high economic ***,the lack of discrete element method(DEM)models and parameters for sunflower seeds hinders the application of DEM for computer simulation in the key working processes of sunflower seed sowing and *** present study was conducted on two varieties of sunflower,and the DEM model of sunflower seeds was established by using 3D scanning technology based on the distribution of triaxial dimensions and volumes of the geometric model of sunflower ***,the physical characteristics parameters of sunflower seeds were determined by physical tests and the simulation parameters were screened for significance based on the Plackett-Burman *** results show that the coefficient of static friction between sunflower seeds and the coefficient of rolling friction have significant effects on the repose angle of the simulation ***,the optimal range of the significance parameters was further determined by the steepest climb test,and the second-order regression model of the significance parameters and the repose angle was obtained according to the Box-Behnken design test and Response Surface Methodology(RSM),with the repose angle measured by the physical test as the optimized target value to obtain the optimal parameter ***,a two-sample t-test for the repose angle of the physical test and the repose angle of the simulation test yielded P>*** results confirms that the repose angle obtained from simulation is not significantly different from the physical test value,and the relative errors between the repose angle of the simulation test and the physical test are 1.43%and 0.40%,respectively,for the optimal combination of *** on these results it can be concluded that the optimal parameters obtained from the calibration can be used for DEM simulation experiments related to the sunflower seed sowing and harvesting pr
