Highly reduced polyoxometalates(POMs) are predicted to be used as rather high energy density materials;however,it still suffers from the limited cluster species and reduction *** we demonstrate that it is possible to employ the building block strategy to generate a highly reduced polyoxomolybdate(C_(2)H_(8)N)_(14)(NH_(4))_(4)H_(14)[Mo_(48)-ⅤMo_(26)ⅥO_(202)(OH)_(12)(SO_(4))_(6)]·46H_(2)O(Mo_(74)).The fundamental Mo-based{Mo_x}(x=4,5,and 6) building blocks,which are templated by tetra-coordinated anions{MoO_(4)}or{SO_(4)},not only lay foundation for the formation of Mo_(74) featuring an unprecedented reduction ratio of 65%,but also give rise to SBBs-mediated(secondary building blocks) supramolecular dense packing interactions among the isolated Mo_(74) clusters that are favorable for proton ***,high proton conductivity(2.04×10^(-2)S cm^(-1)) had been realized at 50℃ and 90% relative humidity,revealing one of the well-known POMs-based crystalline proton conducting *** result highlights that this building block approach possesses great potential in producing highly reduced POM systems that can achieve controllable reduced ratio and desirable properties.

Dimensional regulation in polyoxometalates is an effective strategy during the design and synthesis of polyoxometalates-based high proton conductors,but it is not available to ***,the precise regulation of dimensionality has been realized in an unprecedented gigantic molybdenum blue wheel family featuring pentagonal{(W)Mo5}motifs through optimizing the molar ratio of Mo/W,including[Gd_(2)Mo_(124)W_(14)O_(422)(H_(2)O)62]38-(0D-{Mo_(124)W_(14)},1),[Mo_(126)W_(14)O441(H_(2)O)51]^(70-)(1D-{Mo_(126)W_(14)}n,2),and[Mo_(124)W_(14)O_(430)(H_(2)O)50]60-(2D-{Mo_(124)W_(14)}n,3).such important{(W)Mo5}structural motif brings new reactivity into gigantic Mo blue *** are different numbers and sites of{Mo2}defects in each wheel-shaped monomer in 1-3,which leads to the monomers of 2 and 3 to form 1D and 2D architectures via Mo-O-Mo covalent bonds driven by{Mo2}-mediated H_(2)O ligands substitution process,respectively,thus achieving the controllable dimensional *** expected,the proton conductivity of 3 is 10 times higher than that of 1 and 1.7 times higher than that of *** continuous proton hopping sites in 2D network are responsible for the enhanced proton conductivity with lower activation *** study highlights that this dimensional regulation approach remains great potential in preparing polyoxometalates-based high proton conductive materials.

The prefrontal cortex and hippocampus may support sequential working memory beyond episodic memory and spatial *** stereoelectroencephalography(SEEG)study investigated how the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex(DLPFC)interacts with the hippocampus in the online processing of sequential *** patients with epilepsy(eight women,age 27.6±8.2 years)completed a line ordering task with SEEG recordings over the DLPFC and the *** showed longer thinking times and more recall errors when asked to arrange random lines clockwise(random trials)than to maintain ordered lines(ordered trials)before recalling the orientation of a particular ***,the ordering-related increase in thinking time and recall error was associated with a transient theta power increase in the hippocampus and a sustained theta power increase in the DLPFC(3–10 Hz).In particular,the hippocampal theta power increase correlated with the memory precision of line ***,theta phase coherences between the DLPFC and hippocampus were enhanced for ordering,especially for more precisely memorized ***,the theta band DLPFC→hippocampus influence was selectively enhanced for ordering,especially for more precisely memorized *** study suggests that theta oscillations may support DLPFC-hippocampal interactions in the online processing of sequential information.

Securing a comfortable, wearable compact frequency beam scanning antenna(FBSA) with robustness to deformation, low specific absorption rate(SAR), and good coverage of the surrounding environment for Internet of Things(IoT) applications, such as on-body navigation and wireless communication is an emerging challenge. In this work, a robust textile-based spoof plasmonic frequency scanning antenna utilizing higher-order modes is presented, which is also robust to deformation caused by the activities of the human body. The innovative design of the element ensures the high-efficiency transmission of the fundamental mode of spoof surface plasmon polaritons(SSPP) structure, providing the potential of being a multifunctional composite device in the compact on-body network. Besides, an artificial magnetic conductor(AMC) is designed underneath the SSPP structure, obtaining a low SAR value(0.113 W/kg), which ensures the safety of users. As a practical realization of this concept, a textile-based spoof plasmonic antenna was fabricated in the microwave regime and the performed experimental results show the proposed antenna has a single-beam radiation characteristic with a 70° beam scanning angle range when the frequency is 4.7–6.0 GHz with a high average realized gain of 13.15 dBi. And it still maintains a steady performance when faced with structure deformation, which proves its robustness. Wireless communication quality experiments are performed to demonstrate the proposed antenna can measure the angles of targets and realize wireless signal transmission to specific targets as the frequency varies, it may find great potential in the field of on-body IoT applications.

The cooling storage ring (CSR) external-target experiment (CEE) is a spectrometer used in construction to study the properties of nuclear matter in high-baryon density regions at the Heavy-Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL). This study presents the design, simulation, manufacturing, and testing of a half-size prototype of a multi-wire drift chamber (MWDC) for the CEE. First, the performance of the MWDC connected to homemade electronics was simulated. The results demonstrated that an energy resolution of 18.5% % for 5.9-keV X-rays and a position resolution of 194 mu m for protons can be achieved by the current design. Because the size of the largest MWDC reached 176 cm x 314 cm, a set of 98 cm x 98 cm prototypes was built using the new techniques. The positioning accuracy of the anode wires in this prototype is better than 20 mu m. After optimization, using commercially available electronics, the prototype can achieved an energy resolution of 19.7% % for a Fe-55 X-ray source. The CEE-MWDC detector and electronics were simultaneously tested. An energy resolution of 22% % was achieved for the Fe-55 source; the track residuals were approximately 330 mu m for the cosmic rays. The results demonstrate that the current design and techniques meet the requirements of the CEE-MWDC array.

The effect of Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) mass ratio and CaO content on the viscosity and structure of the CaO-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-6MgO-1.5ZrO_(2)-1.5CeO_(2) slag was *** results show that with the increase in Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) mass ratio,the viscous flow units within the slag gradually change from Si-O-Si to Al-O-Al and ***,the substitution of Al_(2)O_(3) for SiO_(2) leads to the transformation of Si-O bonds towards weaker Al-O bonds,which weaken the bond strength of the aluminosilicate networks,thus leading to a decrease in the viscosity of *** increase in CaO content effectively promotes the depolymerization of the aluminosilicate networks,resulting in a significant decrease in the viscosity of the *** slag with Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) of 0.7-1.5 and CaO of 30 wt.%shows promise as the reference slag system for the Fe-collection smelting of spent automotive catalysts due to its good comprehensive performance.

This study aimed to develop a pan-genotypic and multifunctional small interfering RNA(siRNA)against hepatitis B virus(HBV)with an efficient delivery system for treating chronic hepatitis B(CHB),and explore combined RNA interference(RNAi)and immune modulatory modalities for better viral *** synthetic siRNAs targeting consensus motifs distributed across the whole HBV genome were designed and *** lipid nanoparticle(LNP)formulation was optimized by adopting HO-PEG_(2000)-DMG lipid and modifying the molar ratio of traditional polyethylene glycol(PEG)lipid in LNP *** efficacy and safety of this formulation in delivering siHBV(tLNP/siHBV)along with the mouse IL-2(mIL-2)mRNA(tLNP/siHBVIL2)were evaluated in the rAAVHBV1.3 mouse model.A siRNA combination(terms“siHBV”)with a genotypic coverage of 98.55%was selected,chemically modified,and encapsulated within an optimized LNP(tLNP)of high efficacy and security to fabricate a therapeutic formulation for *** results revealed that tLNP/siHBV significantly reduced the expression of viral antigens and DNA(up to 3log_(10)reduction;vs PBS)in dose-and time-dependent manners at single-dose or multi-dose frequencies,with satisfactory safety *** studies showed that tLNP/siHBVIL2 enables additive antigenic and immune control of the virus,via introducing potent HBsAg clearance through RNAi and triggering strong HBV-specific CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T cell responses by expressed mIL-2 *** adopting tLNP as nucleic acid nanocarriers,the co-delivery of siHBV and mIL-2 mRNA enables synergistic antigenic and immune control of HBV,thus offering a promising translational therapeutic strategy for treating CHB.

Anaerobic digestion (AD) with thermal hydrolysis (TH) pretreatment is a promising process for excess sludge treatment,while there lacks of the knowledge from full-scale process about the impact of sludge composition and characteristics on microbial community and *** sludge physiochemical indices,microbial community and performance data of four full-scale TH-AD plants were characterized,and their relationships was *** four plants were operated under almost similar total organic loading rate (OLR)but their methanogenesis performance differentiate into two groups,namely superior group(supG) and the inferior group (Inf G).In both groups,TH effectively solubilized particulate organic compounds,meanwhile raised the ammonia nitrogen (NH_(4)^(+)-N) and volatile fatty acid (VFA) *** with the sup G,thermal hydrolyzed sludge of Inf G had higher level of VFAs,NH_(4)^(+)-N and total chemical oxygen demand (t COD),which showed higher inhibition effect on microbes,leading to a community with lower diversity,lower abundance of carbohydrate degrading functional guild,higher protein degrading one,and methanogens that adapted to limited substrates,and further declined the methane production ***,it was recommended that OLR alone was not sufficient for controlling the system in design and operation,the concentration of VFAs,NH_(4)^(+)-N and t COD should be equally *** higher concentration,together with the higher abundance of Defluviitoga and Proteiniphilum were recommended as indicators for inferior running *** results proposed that microbial communities played a role of bridge between environmental factors and performance,provided implications for engineering ecology and operational regulation for full-scale sludge TH-AD process.
