The surface integrity of metal micro-hole structures produced by electrochemical discharge machining is unsatisfactory owing to the insufficient reaction area and strength of electrolysis action.A novel ultrahigh-speed Rotary Electrochemical Discharge Machining(R-ECDM)using non-water-based electrolyte is proposed to improve surface integrity by changing the breakdown medium of spark discharge and increasing the reaction area and strength of electrolysis.A mathematical model was developed to establish the relationship between rotational speed and forces acting on the *** on the magnitude of forces,controlling rotational speed changed the behavior and departure radius of bubbles on the cathode ***-speed photographs validate that,in the mathematical model,the number and departure radius of bubbles on the cathode surface gradually decrease with the increase of rotational *** experimental results show that the roughness(Ra)of the micro-hole sidewall decreases from 2.54μm to 0.20μm when the rotational speed increases from 500 r/min to 40000 r/*** length loss and wear ratio of the cathode are only 9.75μm and 6.5%,***,the micro-holes array with recast-free and surface roughness of 0.20μm is fabricated,demonstrating that the proposed approach contributes to improving surface integrity of metal micro-holes.

Superthin galaxies are observed to have stellar disks with extremely small minor-to-major axis *** this work,we investigate the formation of superthin galaxies in the TNG100 *** trace the merger history and investigate the evolution of galaxy properties of a selected sample of superthin galaxies and a control sample of galaxies that share the same joint probability distribution in the stellar-mass and color *** making comparisons between the two galaxy samples,we find that present-day superthin galaxies had similar morphologies as the control sample counterparts at higher redshifts,but have developed extended flat“superthin”morphologies since z~*** this latter evolution stage,superthin galaxies undergo an overwhelmingly higher frequency of prograde mergers(with orbit-spin angleθ_(orb)≤40°).Accordingly the spins of their dark matter halos have grown significantly and become noticeably higher than those of their normal disk *** further results in the buildup of their stellar disks at larger distances much beyond the regimes of normal disk *** also discuss the formation scenario of those superthin galaxies that live in larger dark matter halos as satellite galaxies therein.

As an important spice species in Rutaceae, the Sichuan pepper (zanthoxylum armatum) can provide pungent and numbing taste, as well as aroma in its mature fruit. Here we assembled a chromosome-level genome of green prickly ash which was widely cultivated in a major production area including Chongqing and Sichuan province, China. We generated 712 Gb (~112×) PacBio long reads and 511 Gb (~82×) Hi-C data, and yielded an assembly of 99 pseudochromosomes with total size of 5.32 Gb and contig N50 of 796 kb. The genomic analyses and cytogenetic experiments both indicated that the cultivarzhuye Huajiao’ was a triploid. We identified a zanthoxylum-specific whole genome duplication event emerging about 24.8 million years ago (Mya). We also detected a transposition burst event (0.3-0.4 Mya) responsible for the large genome size of z. armatum. Metabolomic analysis of the zanthoxylum fruits during development stages revealed profiles of39 volatile aroma compounds and 528 secondary metabolites, from which six types of sanshools were identified. Based on metabolomic and transcriptomic network analysis, we screened candidate genes encoding long chain acyl-CoA synthetase, fatty acid desaturase,branched-chain amino acid aminotransferase involved in sanshool biosynthesis and three genes encoding terpene synthase during fruit development. The multi-omics data provide insights into the evolution of zanthoxylum and molecular basis of numbing and aroma flavor of Sichuan pepper.

Jasmonates(JAs)are essential hormones that regulate plant responses to biotic and abiotic stresses and are involved in various developmental processes,including flowering time control,floral organ development,and fertility of male and female gametes(Howe et al.,2018).However,our understanding of the mechanisms by which JAs integrate multiple signals to regulate diverse physiological processes remains *** the canonical JA signaling pathway,activated JAs are perceived by the F-box protein receptor CORONATINE INSENSITIVE 1(COl1),which induces the interaction between COl1 and the Jas domain of the repressor proteins JASMONATE-zIM DOMAIN PROTEINs(JAzs),leading to the ubiquitination and degradation of JAz *** proteolytic destruction of the JAz repressors is a crucial step that releases the inhibition of JAzs on the JA response transcription factor MYC2,allowing MYC2 to activate the expression of downstream genes(Howe et al.,2018).Therefore,the stability and specific spatiotemporal expression pattern of the JAz proteins are critical for the regulation of JA signaling output,as they determine the activation and repression of JA responses.

The off-stoichiometric iron-based phosphate(Na_(3.12)Fe_(2.44)(P_(2)O_(7))_(2),denoted as Na3.12)as a low cost and high structure stability cathode material has been widely studied for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs).However,the lower theoretical specific capacity(117 mAh·g^(-1))has seriously limited its practical *** this work,we incorporate varying proportion of sodium-iron phosphate(NaFePO_(4))into the Na3.12 to form a series of new high specific capacity mixed-phosphates Na_(3.12+x)Fe_(2.44+x)(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)(PO_(4))x cathode materials for *** optimizing the introduction amount of NaFePO_(4)into Na_(3.12),the practical reversible of Na_(3.12+x)Fe_(2.44+x)(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)(PO_(4))_(x) increased from 92 to 125.2 mAh·g^(-1).The nano-size Na5.12Fe4.44(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)(PO_(4))_(2) cathode material shows a reversible specific capacity of 125.2 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1 C in *** at 60 C,it still exhibits a reversible specific capacity of 93.3 mAh·g^(-1)and keeps a capacity retention ratio of 87%after 3000 cycles at 20 ***,we present a novel approach to design a series of off-stoichiometric mixed-phosphates cathode materials for SIBs.
