Resolved hyperfine structure and narrow inhomogeneously broadened lines in the optical spectra of a rare-earth-doped crystal are favorable for the implementation of various ***,a well-resolved hyperfine structure in the photoluminescence spectra of LiYF4:Ho single crystals and the anticrossings of hyperfine levels in a magnetic field are demonstrated using a self-made setup based on a Bruker 125HR high-resolution Fourier *** is the first observation of the resolved hyperfine structure and anticrossing hyperfine levels in the luminescence spectra of a *** narrowest spectral linewidth is only 0.0022 *** fact together with a large value of the magnetic g factor of several crystal-field states creates prerequisites for developing magnetic field sensors,which can be in demand in modern quantum information technology devices operating at low *** small random lattice strains characterizing the quality of a crystal can be detected using anticrossing points.

We calculate current correlation functions （CCFs） of dissipative particle dy- namics （DPD） and compare them with results of molecular dynamics （MD） and solutions of linearized hydrodynamic equations. In particular, we consider three versions of DPD, the empirical/classical DPD, coarse-grained （CG） DPD with radial-direction interactions only and full （radial, transversal, and rotational） interactions between particles. To fa- cilitate quantitative discussions, we consider specifically a star-polymer melt system at a moderate density. For bonded molecules, it is straightforward to define the CG variables and to further derive CG force fields for DPD within the framework of the Mori-zwanzig formalism. For both transversal and longitudinal current correlation functions （TCCFs and LCCFs）, we observe that results of MD, DPD, and hydrodynamic solutions agree with each other at the continuum limit. Below the continuum limit to certain length scales, results of MD deviate significantly from hydrodynamic solutions, whereas results of both empirical and CG DPD resemble those of MD. This indicates that the DPD method with Markovian force laws possibly has a larger applicability than the continuum description of a newtonian fluid. This is worth being explored further to represent gen- eralized hydrodynamics.

In this study, we investigate some main electrical parameters of the gold/poly（3-hexylthiophene）：[6,6]-phenyl C61 bu- tyric acid methyl ester：2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane/n-type silicon （Au/P3HT：PCBM：F4-TCnQ/n- Si） metal-polymer-semiconductor （MPS） Schottky barrier diode （SBD） in terms of the effects of F4-TCnQ concentration （0%, 1%, and 2%）. F4-TCnQ-doped P3HT：PCBM is fabricated to figure out the p-type doping effect on the device per- formance. The main electrical parameters, such as ideality factor （n）, barrier height （ФB0）, series resistance （Rs）, shunt resistance （Rsh）, and density of interface states （nss） are determined from the forward and reverse bias current-voltage （l-V） characteristics in the dark and at room temperature. The values of n, Rs, ФB0, and nss are significantly reduced by using the 1% F4-TCnQ doping in P3HT：PCBM：F4-TCnQ organic blend layer, additionally, the carrier mobility and current are increased by the soft （1%） doping. The most ideal values of electrical parameters are obtained for 1% F4-TCnQ used diode. On the other hand, the carrier mobility and current for the hard doping （2%） become far away from the ideal diode values due to the unbalanced generation of holes/electrons and doping-induced disproportion when compared with 1% F4-TCnQ doping. These results show that the electrical properties of MPS SBDs strongly depend on the F4-TCnQ doping and doping concentration of interfacial P3HT：PCBM：F4-TCnQ organic layer. Moreover, the soft F4-TCnQ dop- ing concentration （1%） in P3HT：PCBM：F4-TCnQ organic layer significantly improves the electrical characteristics of the Au/P3HT：PCBM：F4-TCnQ/n-Si （MPS） SBDs which enables the fabricating of high-quality electronic and optoelectronic devices.

High-Speed Friction Stir Welding of T6-Treated B4Cp/6061Al Composite

T6-treated 20 wt% B4 Cp/6061 Al sheets were joined under welding speeds of 400–1200 mm/min by friction stir welding(FSW) with a threaded cermet pin. The macro-defect-free FSW joints could be achieved at high welding speeds up to 1200 mm/min, but larger plunge depth was required at the welding speeds of 800 and 1200 mm/min to eliminate the tunnel defect. In the nugget zone(nz) of the joints, the B4 C particles were broken up and uniformly redistributed. The nz exhibited lower hardness than the base metal(BM), and the hardness value almost did not change with increasing welding speed, attributable to the dissolution of precipitates. Compared with the BM, the joints showed lower tensile strength. As the welding speed increased from 400 to 800 mm/min, the joint efficiencies were nearly the same and up to ~ 73%. When the welding speed increased up to 1200 mm/min, the tensile strength significantly decreased, due to the occurrence of kissing bond defect at the bottom of the nz. With increasing welding speed, the fracture location of the joints transferred gradually from the heat-affected zone to the nz due to the kissing bond defects.

We calculate level densities for ^56,57 Fe nuclei using BCS hamiltonian with inclusion of pairing interaction. The results of calculations show that the step structure observed experimentally has been supported by microscopic theory, Also the S-shaped energy and entropy as function of temperature have been obtained in theoretical calculations. Structures in the curves are interpreted as fingerprints of breaking Cooper pairs and quenching of pairing correlations.

noninvasive low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave treatment(Li-ESWT)has been widely used to treat erection *** is no clear information regarding either the selection of patients for the treatment or the treatment *** this study,we aimed to investigate the efficacy of extracorporeal shockwave therapy in diabetic patients with severe erectile dysfunction(International Index of Erectile Function-5[IIEF-5]scores of 5 to 7).Sixty-three diabetes mellitus patients with erectile dysfunction having IIEF-5 scores of 5 to 7 and not showing a recovery of potency despite phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor therapy for the past 6 months were included in the *** patients were evaluated based on their IIEF-5 scores and Erection Hardness Scale *** IIEF-5 score(mean±standard deviation[s.d.])increased from 5.29±1.67 to 5.56±1.85,with a difference of 0.27±0.18(P>0.05).The Erection Hardness Scale scores(mean±s.d.),on the other hand,increased from 1.46±0.50 to 1.48±0.50,with a difference of 0.02±0(P>0.05).In conclusion,the response to phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors did not change after extracorporeal shockwave treatment in diabetes mellitus patients with severe erectile dysfunction(IIEF-5 scores of 5 to 7).

Human Toxicosis Caused by Moldy Rice Contaminated with Fusarium and T-2 Toxin

This is the first report on human toxicosis in China caused by moldy rice contaminated with Fusarium and T-2 toxin due to heavy rainfall during rice harvest season. One hundred and sixty-five persons ate the moldy rice and ninety-seven persons fall ill of food poisoning. The incidence was 58.8% and latent period was 10-30 min. The chief symptoms were nausea, dizziness, vomiting, chills, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, thoracic stuffiness and diarrhea. The fungi isolated from the moldy rice were predominantly Fusarium heterosporum (F. heterosporum) and F. graminearum. T-2 toxin was found in these moldy rice and the highest level was 420 ppb. The chief causative agent of intoxication was T-2 toxin.
