Coal-tar pitch(CP)is a promising carbon raw material for producing needle coke,carbon fiber *** processing,the h/C ratio,ash content,and quinoline insoluble(QI)in the CP are the key factors that influence the material *** this study,NMP was selected to extract CP first;then[BMIM]Cl/NMP mixed solvent was used;and finally a series of ionic liquids(ILs)mixtures with NMP were developed for the extraction of CP to obtain the refined *** extracts were analyzed via elemental analysis,TGA,FT-IR,and *** indicate that different NMP/IL mass ratios or different kinds of ILs have impact on the extraction *** relationship of the hydrogen to carbon(h/C)ratio changed with different solvents and QI extracts were *** showed that the h/C ratios changed little between NMP extracts and could be adjusted by changing the NMP/ILs mass ratio or using different *** extracts are suitable for preparation mesophase pitch because of no ash content,low QI,and appropriate h/C *** a result,NMP can be used to refine *** addition,[BMIM]Cl is good mixed with NMP for CP extraction,because it can obtain a relatively high yield under the same extraction conditions.

Due to its harmful nature,any incident associated with hazardous material(hazmat)may cause tremendous impacts on the surrounding people and the *** on the incident involving this specific type of good,we develop a reliable and robust emergency logistics network that considers both demand uncertainty and possible unavailability of particular links.A time-based risk measure is carefully designed upon the traditional risk assessment to reflect the stakeholder’s sensitivity to risk over response *** disruption and uncertainty are modeled as two sets of scenarios which are integrated into a bi-objective robust model to evaluate the trade-offs between risk and *** effectiveness of the emergency response can be assured by expenditures that add extra capacities to certain links or establish additional facilities that aid recovery from *** apply our model and approach to a real-world network in Guangdong *** results reveal the necessity of embedding consideration of uncertainty and unreliability into emergency network design problems;outline the importance of hedging against unpredictability by system redundancies;and indicate the impact of stakeholder’s orientation towards cost and risk on the location,allocation,and routing decisions in hazmat emergency response.

A new geological section recognized in Baishantou of Jiayin,heilongjiang Province,China,was studied preliminarily in searching for the K/T *** early Paleocene florule characrerized by abundant Tiliaephyllum tsagajanicum leaves and its associated plants,was collected from the Baishantou Member(new member representing the lower part of the Paleocene Wuyun Formation)overlying the possible K/T boundary.A tuff bed was found from the upper part of the Furao Formation(uppermost Cretaceous)in this *** new findings imply that the K/T boundary is probable lying in the interval between the base of the Baishantou Member and the tuff bed,based on the correlation of the present strata with the stratotype of the Tsagajan Group spanning the K/T boundary in"Belaya Gara"of the Bureya Basin,*** early Paleocene florule from the Baishantou Member and the early-middle Maastrichtian dinosaurs found from the Yuliangzi Formation underlying the Furao Formation suggest that the Baishantou section is more promising for searching for the K/T boundary in this *** studies of the section is needed,integrating paleontological,biostratigraphic,geochemical,paleomagnetic,and sedimentary research would benefit our understanding the mass extinction event and biotic recovery in the heilongjiang River area,China,and even all of northeast Asia during the K/T boundary interval.

We summarize the clinical manifestations, risk factors for severe and fatal cases, pathologic findings and treatment of this disease in this paper based on current reports from different regions of the world.

The intestinal mucosal barrier serves as a vital guardian of the gut health,maintaining a delicate equilibrium between gut microbiota and host immune *** D(GSDMD),a key executioner of pyroptosis downstream of the inflammasome,has been found to play intricate roles in modulating colitis by influencing intestinal macrophages and regulating mucus secretion from goblet ***,the exact nature of the regulatory function of GSDMD in maintaining intestinal immune homeostasis and defending against pathogens remains to be *** the current study,by using the Citrobacter rodentium infection model,we found that GSDMD played a key role in the defense against intestinal Citrobacter rodentium infection,with high expression levels in intestinal epithelial and lamina propria myeloid *** results showed that GSDMD acted specifically in intestinal epithelial cells to combat the infection,independently of its effects on antimicrobial peptides or mucin ***,the resistance was mediated by the N-terminal fragment of GSDMD,highlighting its importance in intestinal ***,the specific mechanism underlying the N-terminal activity of GSDMD in protecting against intestinal bacterial infections requires future investigation.

Background： Percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） causes endothelial damage, resulting in an inflammatory response with elevation of markers such as high-sensitive C-reactive protein （hs-CRP） and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1（VCAM-1）, which are associated with restenosis after PCI. Evidence suggests that microRNA-126 （miR-126） plays an important role in vascular inflammation, but its correlation with PCl-mediated inflammation has not been investigated. In this study, we investigated the effect of PCI on circulating miR-126 and inflammation markers such as hs-CRP and VCAM-1. Methods： We enrolled 130 patients with coronary artery disease （CAD） in the Second hospital of Jilin University from October 2015 to December 2015. Among them, 82 patients with CAD, defined as at least one major epicardial vessel with 〉70% stenosis who planned to undergo PCI, were divided into acute coronary syndrome （ACS） group （46 patients） and stable angina （SA） group （36 patients）. Forty-eight patients confirmed by coronary angiography without PCI were used as controls. The plasmas of all patients were collected prior to PCI and at 30 min, 24 h, and 72 h after PCI. The plasma VCAM-1 and hs-CRP were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and the miR-126 was evaluated by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. Results： Plasma concentrations of hs-CRP and VCAM-I in patients with either ACS （n = 46） or SA （n = 36） were significantly higher than in controls （n = 48）（P 〈 0.01） prior to PCI, and increased further at 24 h and 72 h after PCI, compared with prior PCI. Moreover, VCAM-1 was positively correlated with balloon time and pressure. In contrast, the plasma concentration of miR-126 was significantly lower in patients with CAD than in controls, and further decreased with time post-PCl. The biological behavior of gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs)are highly *** invest-igate the biological behavior of GIST,we collected 83 cases of gastric and 62 cases of small intestinal GIST from the Department of Pathology of the Chinese PLA General *** parameters include age,primary tumor location,tumor diameter,mitotic index,tumor necrosis,risk assessment,clinical stage and the c-kit exon 11 *** these were analyzed in 105 cases along with the follow-up data and tested by log rank and COX hazard proportional *** find that the average age of gast-ric GIST was 55.4 *** the 62 cases that were fol-lowed up,17 cases had metastasis or recurrence and the 5-year survival rate was(66.51±17.06)%.For the small intestinal GIST,the average age was 50.6 years and 43 cases were followed *** these,22 cases had meta-stasis or recurrence and the 5-year survival rate was(61.76±18.30)%.Small intestinal GIST was more fre-quently associated with metastasis and tumor relapse than gastric GIST(x^(2)=56.131,P=0.013).For gastric GIST,patients younger than 50 years(P=0.046),the advanced clinical stage(P=0.0001),the large tumor diameter(P=0.0001),a high mitotic index(P=0.0001),necrosis(P=0.0001)and a high risk grade(P=0.004)were all correlated with a lower survival *** COX hazard proportional model revealed that advanced clinical stage(P=0.001),large tumor size(P=0.001),a high mitotic index(P=0.002)and the high risk grade(P=0.018)indi-cated a poorer prognosis in gastric *** small intest-inal GIST,necrosis(P=0.036)and advanced clinical stage(P=0.010)were associated with lower survival rates and the clinical stage was shown to be an independent prognostic indicator.A total of 25 cases harbored muta-tions in c-kit exon *** frequency of c-kit mutation was 32%and 22.5%for gastric and small intestinal GIST,*** gastric GIST,the mutated c-kit was pre-dominant in patients older than 50 years of *** in the small intestinal GIST,t
