Objective:To evaluate the combination therapy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate against Babesia in vitro and in ***:Bioinformatic analysis was performed using atom pair *** in vitro combination test was performed against Babesia bovis and Theileria ***,the in vivo chemotherapeutic efficacy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate in combination with diminazene aceturate was investigated against the growth of Babesia microti in mice using a fluorescence inhibitory ***:Pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate exhibited nearly similar molecular *** in vitro combination of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate was synergistic on Babesia bovis and additive on Theileria *** addition,5 mg/kg pyronaridine tetraphosphate combined with 10 mg/kg diminazene aceturate inhibited Babesia microti growth significantly compared with those observed after treatment with 25 mg/kg diminazene aceturate alone from day 6 post treatment to day 12 post *** combination therapy also normalized the hematological parameters of infected ***:An oral dose of pyronaridine tetraphosphate combined with a subcutaneous dose of diminazene aceturate inhibits Babesia in vitro and in mice,suggesting it might be a new paradigm for the treatment of babesiosis.

Theγ-ray emission from the W51 complex is widely acknowledged to be attributed to the interaction between the cosmic rays(CRs)accelerated by the shock of supernova remnant(SNR)W51C and the dense molecular clouds in the adjacent star-forming region,***,the maximum acceleration capability of W51C for CRs remains *** on observations conducted with the Large high Altitude Air Shower Observatory(LhAASO),we report a significant detection ofγrays emanating from the W51 complex,with energies from 2 to 200 *** LhAASO measurements,for the first time,extend theγ-ray emission from the W51 complex beyond 100 TeV and reveal a significant spectrum bending at tens of *** combining the"π^(0)-decay bump"featured data from Fermi-LAT,the broadbandγ-ray spectrum of the W51 region can be well-characterized by a simple pp-collision *** observed spectral bending feature suggests an exponential cutoff at~400 TeV or a power-law break at~200 TeV in the CR proton spectrum,most likely providing the first evidence of SNRs serving as CR accelerators approaching the PeV ***,two young star clusters within W51B could also be theoretically viable to produce the most energeticγrays observed by *** findings strongly support the presence of extreme CR accelerators within the W51 complex and provide new insights into the origin of Galactic CRs.

An experiment was conducted to test the efficacy of a mechanical barrier around the tree trunk with one spray of Cypermethrin @ 1 ml/l and turmeric powder extract @ 15 g/500ml of water applied in integrated approaches against mango mealybug on mango tree. There were 7 treatments including a control. The treatments were Mechanical barrier, Cypermethrin spray @ 1 ml/l, Turmeric powder spray @ 15 g/500ml of water, Cypermethrin spray + Turmeric spray, Cypermethrin spray + Mechanical barrier, Turmeric + Mechanical barrier and untreated control. Three-year-old mango plants grafted from a 5-year-old mango tree (Variety Amropali) and planted in pots were used in the experiment. The treatment, Cypermethrin spray + Mechanical barrier gave the highest reduction of mango mealybug population 87.06% to 93.90% followed by Turmeric spray + Mechanical barrier and showed 81.13. to 86.04% and Mechanical barrier alone showed 81.13. to 84.59% population reduction. Turmeric powder extract showed only (8.42% to 23.77%) population reduction of mango mealybug which was lowest compared to other treatments.

Background:The mobilization and redistribution of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)specific T-cells and neutralizing antibodies(nAbs)during exercise is purported to increase immune surveillance and protect against severe coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).We sought to determine if COVID-19 vaccination would elicit exercise-responsive SARS-CoV-2 T-cells and transiently alter nAb ***:Eighteen healthy participants completed a 20-min bout of graded cycling exercise before and/or after receiving a COVID-19 *** major leukocyte subtypes were enumerated before,during,and after exercise by flow cytometry,and immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 were determined using whole blood peptide stimulation assays,T-cell receptor(TCR)-βsequencing,and SARS-CoV-2 nAb ***:COVID-19 vaccination had no effect on the mobilization or egress of major leukocyte subsets in response to intensity-controlled graded ***,non-infected participants had a significantly reduced mobilization of CD4+and CD8+naive T-cells,as well as CD4+central memory T-cells,after vaccination(synthetic immunity group);this was not seen after vaccination in those with prior SARS-CoV-2 infection(hybrid immunity group).Acute exercise after vaccination robustly mobilized SARS-CoV-2 specific T-cells to blood in an intensity-dependent *** groups mobilized T-cells that reacted to spike protein;however,only the hybrid immunity group mobilized T-cells that reacted to membrane and nucleocapsid *** increased significantly during exercise only in the hybrid immunity ***:These data indicate that acute exercise mobilizes SARS-CoV-2 specific T-cells that recognize spike protein and increases the redistribution of nAbs in individuals with hybrid immunity.

Micrometer-sized Fe3.4 particles and nano-sized gold particles were first synthesized by methods of self-aggregation of surface-chemically modified Fe3.4 nanoparticles and citrate reduction of the Au3. to Au0, respectively. Interaction between these two types of particles resulted in the assembly of nano-sized gold particles on the surface of the micrometer-sized Fe3.4 particles, forming an assembled structure with the Fe3.4 core particles around which are attached nano-sized gold parti- cles. The Fe3.4/Au structure is named GoldMag particles with assembled structure. The synthetic process, structure, and magnetic property of the GoldMag particles were analyzed. GoldMag particles with assembled structure have an irregular shape, rough surface with a diameter of 2―3.μm. These particles exhibit the superparamagnetic property with saturated magnetization of 41 A·m2/kg. In a single step, antibodies could be readily immobilized onto the surface of the particles with a high binding capacity. The GoldMag particles can be used as a novel carrier in immunoassays. The maximum quantity of human IgG immobilized onto GoldMag particles was 3.0 μg/mg. In order to validate the quality of the GoldMag particles as immunoassay carriers, an immunoassay system was used. The relative amount of immobilized human IgG was measured by hRP-labeled anti human IgG. The coefficient of variation within parallel samples of each group was below 6% and the coefficient of variation of means between five groups carried out separately was below 7%. Based on the sandwich method, the hepatitis B surface antigen (hBsAg) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) were also analyzed by qualitative and quantitative detection, respectively. The result indicated that the GoldMag particles with assembled structure were an ideal carrier in immunoassay.

Ecological restoration and reconstruction refers to how to prevent the main factors and processes from further degrading the ecosystem, as well as how to regulate and optimize the exchanging process and the space-time cycling system of substance, energy and information through man force, in order to restore the structure, function and eco-potentiality back to the original level or even higher, with the help of certain biological, ecological and engineering techniques. Ecological restoration and reconstruction involves problems of different levels and different fields, with the focus on the ecosystem （species communities）, the landscape and certain areas. Problems in the process of road-area ecosystem construction are as follows： attention is paid to the conditions of the road itself and the short-term effects, not to the natural propagation of species within the whole road-area or the ecological safety area; the importance of biological diversity in ecological restoration is neglected; the property of heterogeneity necessary for a sound ecosystem is ignored; the ecological interaction among species doesn＇t earn enough attention; properties like localization and adaptability in different districts are not paid enough attention. Landscape ecology can guide the work of road-area ecosystem restoration, through the space pattern.

二叠纪是青藏高原各块体演化的关键时段,发生了一系列重大地质和生物事件,当时横跨南北半球统一的泛大陆演化到了鼎盛阶段,阻断了全球东西向的赤道暖流的同时,在泛大陆的东侧形成了一个半封闭的、具有重要历史意义的特提斯洋暖池,是古-中生代之交生物与环境演变的引擎.青藏高原二叠纪地层分布广泛、化石丰富,从南到北由于跨越不同的纬度带体现出不同的特点.雅鲁藏布江以南的喜马拉雅特提斯带当时位于冈瓦纳大陆印度板块北缘,整个二叠纪沉积含有典型的冈瓦纳冷水型生物群;雅鲁藏布江缝合带内的灰岩外来体时代集中在瓜德鲁普世(Guadalupian,中二叠世)中、晚期至早三叠世,古生物地理与喜马拉雅特提斯带有显著差异,最有可能为新特提斯洋中的海山型沉积.基墨里(Cimmerian)微地块群在乌拉尔世(Cisuralian,早二叠世)早期阿瑟尔期-萨克马尔期(Asselian-Sakmarian)全部位于冈瓦纳大陆北缘,均发育冰海相沉积及冈瓦纳型冷水生物群.乌拉尔世中期(约290~280Ma)基墨里微地块群由于印度板块北缘Panjal Traps等大火成岩省岩浆活动与冈瓦纳大陆裂解,并以不同的速度向北漂移.可以分为两个条带,由南羌塘、保山和Sibuma地块组成的北基墨里微地块群漂移速度较快,在亚丁斯克期(Artinskian)就已经出现大量碳酸盐岩沉积和暖水生物群,因此,它们最先从冈瓦纳大陆裂解并进入低纬度暖水区域;而由拉萨、腾冲和Irrawaddy地块组成的南基墨里微地块群,漂移速度相对较慢,在空谷(Kungurian)晚期才开始出现大规模碳酸盐岩沉积,并延续至乐平世(Lopingian,晚二叠世),瓜德鲁普世和乐平世地层中含暖水生物为主的动物群,因此,这些地块至少在空谷晚期已经从冈瓦纳大陆北缘分离,裂解时间稍晚于北基墨里微地块群;这种沉积和古生物地理的时空演变差异性表明乌拉尔世的裂解事件造成了中特提斯洋和新特提斯洋的开启和形成.更北的北羌塘地块由于整个二叠纪地层中均含有典型的暖水生物群,与华南地区、思茅地块和印支地块等可以比较,属于古特提斯洋北部的块体.因此,二叠纪中、晚期特提斯域形成了古、中、新特提斯多岛洋共存的局面,是当时构造活动最活跃的地区和全球生物多样性的中心.此外,青藏高原多个块体在二叠纪位于南半球中高纬度地区,完整记录了晚古生代大冰期、亚丁斯克期全球变暖和二叠纪末快速变暖等重大古气候事件,对于阐明板块运动和全球气候演变对生物群时空分布的影响具有举足轻重的作用.

Comparison of Semi-Parametric Shared Frailty Models for Bees’Survival

Survival analysis is a fundamental tool in medical science for time-to-event data. however, its application to colony organisms like bees poses challenges due to their social nature. Traditional survival models may not accurately capture the interdependence among individuals within a colony. Frailty models, accounting for shared risks within groups, offer a promising alternative. This study evaluates the performance of semi-parametric shared frailty models (gamma, inverse normal, and positive stable-in comparison to the traditional Cox model using bees’ survival data). We examined the effect of misspecification of the frailty distribution on regression and heterogeneity parameters using simulation and concluded that the heterogeneity parameter was more sensitive to misspecification of the frailty distribution and choice of initial parameters (cluster size and true heterogeneity parameter) compared to the regression parameter. From the data, parameter estimates for covariates were close for the four models but slightly higher for the Cox model. The shared gamma frailty model provided a better fit to the data in comparison with the other models. Therefore, when focusing on regression parameters, the gamma frailty model is recommended. This research underscores the importance of tailored survival methodologies for accurately analyzing time-to-event data in social organisms.

The lithium potential in the Aïr massif is represented by mineral index of spodumene pegmatites and, lepidolite pegmatites. The mineral deposits of lithium occur in cluster or veins that cut the host rock or are located near the contact between the greenstone belt and granitic massif. The evidence of lithium is in the form of clusters or disseminated and stockwerk. Mineralogical characteristics show similarities between the Air Massif pegmatites and indicate the same homogenous source during the magma-generation process. The pegmatite rocks attracted the attention due to their wide exposure and composition, well appearance, and economically hosting of significant rare earth metals such as Sn and W. The mineralogical and petrographical investigations on the eight pegmatites rocks samples observed have a relative similarity, while a little difference in the shapes attributed to the ratio in the pegmatite rocks of the minerals. The occurrence of the kink band indicates the influence of the tectonic processes which affected the Aïr massif after the emplacement of late magmatic or post-magmatic pegmatites by injection into fractured rocks in the upper part of the crust. The Air Massif pegmatite has higher concentrations Li and of all trace elements except hf and occasionally zr, Ti, Sn and Mg of for the economic exploration.
