Background:Newly diagnosed breast cancer patients experience symptoms that may affect their quality of life,treatment outcomes,and *** and managing breast cancer-related symptoms soon after diagnosis.is *** purpose of this study was to inves.igate the associations between health-related fitness(HRF)and patient-reported symptoms.in newly diagnosed breast cancer ***:This study utiliz.d baseline data from the Alberta Moving Beyond Breast Cancer Cohort study that were collected within 90 days of *** measures.included peak cardiopulmonary fitness(peak volume of oxygen consumption(VO_(2peak))),maximal muscular strength and endurance,flexibility,and body *** measures.included depres.ion,sleep quality,and *** multivariable logis.ic regres.ion was performed for ***:Of 1458 participants,51.5%reported poor sleep quality,26.5%reported significant fatigue,and 10.4%reported moderate *** multivariable-adjusted models,lower relative VO_(2peak)was.independently associated with a greater likelihood of all symptom measures.including moderate depres.ion(psleep quality(p=0.009),significant fatigue(p=0.008),any symptom(piple symptoms(pstrated threshold associations with all symptom measures such that all 3 lower quartiles exhibited similar elevated risk compared to the highest *** strength of the threshold associations varied by the symptom measure with odds ratios ranging from-1.5 for poor sleep quality to-3.0 for moderate depres.ion and multiple ***,lower relative upper body muscular endurance was also independently associated with fatigue in a dose-response manner(p=0.001),and higher body weight was.independently associated with poor sleep quality in an inverted U pattern(p=0.021).Conclusion:Relative VO_(2peak)appears to be a critical HRF component associated with multiple patient-reported symptoms.in newly diag

in the present study, the Volterra series theory is adopted to theoretically inves.igate the force trans.is.ibility of multiple degrees of freedom （MDOF） structures, in which an isolator with nonlinear anti-symmetric viscous damping is assembled. The results reveal that the anti-symmetric nonlinear viscous damping can significantly reduce the force trans- mis.ibility over all resonance regions for MDOF structures with little effect on the trans.is.ibility over non-resonant and isolation regions. The results.indicate that the vibration isolators with an anti-symmetric damping characteris.ic have great potential to solve the dilemma occurring in the design of linear viscously damped vibration isolators where an increase of the damping level reduces the force trans.is.ibility over resonant frequencies but increases the trans.is.ibility over non-resonant frequency regions. This work is an extension of a previous study in which MDOF structures.installed on the mount through an isolator with cubic nonlinear damping are considered. The theoretical analysis results are also verified by simulation studies.

The plane elas.ic problem for a semi-strip with a transverse crack is.inves- tigated. The initial problem is reduced to a one-dimensional continuous problem by use of an integral transformation method with a generaliz.d scheme. The one-dimensional problem is first formulated as a vector boundary problem, and then reduced to a system of three singular integral equations （siEs）. The system is solved by use of an orthogonal polynomial method and a special generaliz.d method. The contribution of this work is the consideration of kernel fixed singularities.in solving the system. The crack length and its location relative to the semi-strip＇s lateral sides are inves.igated to simplify the problem＇s statement. This simplification reduces the initial problem to a system of two siEs.

The present study aims to inves.igate the salient features of incompres.ible, hydromagnetic, three-dimensional flow of viscous fluid subject to the os.illatory motion of a disk. The rotating disk is contained in a porous medium. Furthermore, a time-invariant version of the Maxwell-Cattaneo law is.implemented in the energy equation. The flow problem is normaliz.d by obtaining similarity variables. The resulting nonlinear system is solved numerically using the succes.ive over-relaxation method. The main results are discussed through graphical representations and tables. it is perceived that the thermal relaxation time parameter decreases the temperature curves and increases the heat trans- fer rate. The os.illatory curves for the velocity field demonstrate a decreasing tendency with the increasing porosity parameter values. Two- and three-dimensional flow phenom- ena are also shown through graphical results.

The integration of sustainable development challenges and opportunities.into the decision making process during the design and/or implementation of multi-dis.iplinary mining projects.is generally not supported by decision support systems(Dss). A new hybrid decision support tool, which features an integrated assessment of sustainable development issues as they apply to mining projects, is hereby proposed. The proposed Dss framework, named ‘‘Acropolis Dss", can be used to as.ist involved stakeholders.in critical decisions, especially when addres.ing issues such as stakeholder participation, transparency,and trade-offs. The proposed Dss.is based on a multi-criteria decision analysis combined with the multi-attribute utility theory.
