Chrysene and 1.2-benz.nthracene are successfully doped in a solid wax film and their vibrational spectra in gooo--400cm^-1 are discussed. The harmonic frequencies and relative intensities of both the molecules observed in the film are compared with theoretical values calculated by the density functional theory （DFT） model as well as with the previous experimental data. The effects on spectra due to change of matrix and some additional bands observed in the wax film are also reported. Excellent agreement in the spectral positions and strengths between the experiments and DFT values are found.

For unachievable tracking problems, where the system output cannot precisely track a given reference, achieving the best pos.ible approximation for the reference trajectory becomes the objective. This study aims to inves.igate solutions using the Ptype learning control scheme. initially, we demonstrate the neces.ity of gradient information for achieving the best ***, we propose an input-output-driven learning gain design to handle the imprecise gradients of a class of uncertain systems. However, it is discovered that the desired performance may not be attainable when faced with incomplete *** address this.issue, an extended iterative learning control scheme is.introduced. in this scheme, the tracking errors are modified through output data sampling, which incorporates lowmemory footprints and offers flexibility in learning gain *** input sequence is shown to converge towards the desired input, resulting in an output that is closest to the given reference in the least square sense. Numerical simulations are provided to validate the theoretical findings.

Fires.including wildfires,harm air quality and essential public services like transportation,communication,and *** fires can also influence atmospheric conditions.including temperature and aerosols,potentially affecting severe convective ***,we inves.igate the remote impacts of fires.in the western United states(WUs)on the occurrence of large hail(siz.:≥2.54 cm)in the central Us(CUs)over the 20-year period of 2001–20 using the machine learning(ML),Random Forest(RF),and Extreme Gradient Boos.ing(XGB)*** developed RF and XGB models demonstrate high accuracy(>90%)and F1 scores of up to 0.78 in predicting large hail occurrences when WUs fires and CUs hailstorms coincide,particularly in four states(Wyoming,south Dakota,Nebraska,and Kansas).The key contributing variables.identified from both ML models.include the meteorological variables.in the fire region(temperature and moisture),the westerly wind over the plume transport path,and the fire features.i.e.,the maximum fire power and burned area).The results confirm a linkage between WUs fires and severe weather in the CUs,corroborating the findings of our previous modeling study conducted on case simulations with a detailed physics model.

Pas.ively Q-s.itched ytterbium-doped fiber lasers （YDFLs） incorporating a molybdenum sulfide selenide （Mosse）-based saturable absorber （sA） are demonstrated. The modulation depth and saturation intensity of the Mosse-based sA are measured to be approximately 25.0% and 0.002 MW/cm^2, respectively, using the twin detector technique. The YDFL＇s output has a center wavelength of 1038.5 nm with a top pulse width and energy of 1.2 μs and 18.9 nJ, respectively, at a pump power of 333 mW. The Mosse-based sA has a good linear optical response, providing significant opportunity for use in applications over an ultra-broadband spectrum, particularly spectroscopy and biomedical diagnos.ics.

stroke is a physiological alteration associated with changes.in blood flow that can result in sudden-onset cognitive impairment. it has a heterogenous clinical presentation with varying degrees of severity correlated with specific central nervous system z.nes or areas, and its prognosis.is uncertain. This case study describes a 62-year-old male patient with acquired brain damage of the anterior cingulate cortex as a result of an ischemic event in the territory of the left anterior cerebral artery. Cognitive function was assessed using the neuropsychological executive function and frontal lobe test battery (BANFE-2) as well as other neuropsychological tests. The results show a profile of higher mental functions characteriz.d by the presence of dysexecutive syndrome with marked behavioral alteration and diencephalic amnesia. .

Background: Obesity is currently considered a public health problem. Bariatric procedures have become an important part of obesity management and, consequently, the number of male patients seeking post-bariatric reconstructive procedures have increased. Therefore, the clinical approach and understanding of the body contour of this population have become more relevant. The goal of post-bariatric reconstruction is to enhance the male silhouette through removal of s.in and adipose tissue excess, and abdominal rectus diastasis repair. Material and Methods: We conducted a retrospective study at the Plas.ic and Reconstructive surgery Department of the National Medical Center “20 de Noviembre”. All male patients referred to our department to start a post-bariatric reconstruction protocol from January 2018 to December 2022 were included in this study. Results: in total, 15 patients who underwent corporal contouring procedures were included;median age was 49.2 years with minimum of 33 years, and a maximum of 57 years. Median Body mass.index was 28.4 kg/msup>2sup> with minimum of 22 kg/msup>2sup> and maximum of 38 kg/msup>2sup>. All patients were treated 18 months after their bariatric surgery. All patients underwent an abdominoplasty as a body contouring procedure. 4 (26.7%) patients presented complications related to the surgery. Conclusion: We described a comprehensive and systematic approach to mas.ive weight loss for male patients, sugges.ing an abdominal marking based on the patient’s clinical features and the expected results avoiding feminiz.tion of the abdominal body contour.

introduction: Breech birth has always been a subject of great interest because of its risks of perinatal morbidity and mortality. Aim: The aim of our study was to compare the maternal and perinatal prognosis of breech delivery with that of vertex delivery. Patients and Method: This was a retrospective case-control analytical study carried out in the obstetrics and gynaecology department of ségou hos.ital over a 2-year period from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021, involving 242 breech deliveries compared with 484 top deliveries with a live single foetus without foetal malformation of gestational age ≥ 35 sA. The statis.ical tests used were: chi² (p Results: The frequency of breech delivery was 3.3%, with a predominance of caesarean section for breech presentation (64.88%) compared with 32.85% for vertex (P: 0.00;Ci: (0.191 - 0.367). The perinatal prognosis of fetuses with breech presentations was marked by a higher rate of neonatal asphyxia (Apgar score Conclusion: Breech birth is relatively rare in our department. it carries a higher risk of maternal morbidity and neonatal morbidity than breech delivery. However, the vital prognosis for the mother was.identical in both groups.
