s.rong-field mid-infrared pump-terahertz.（THz.probe s.ectros.opy has.been proven as.a powerful tool for light control of different orders.in s.rongly correlated materials. We report the cons.ruction of an ultrafas. broadband infrared pump-THz.probe s.s.em in reflection geometry. A two-output optical parametric amplifier is.us.d for generating mid-infrared puls.s.with Gas. as.the nonlinear crys.al. The s.tup is.capable of pumping bulk materials.at wavelengths.ranging from 1.2 μm to 15 μm and beyond, and detecting the s.btle, trans.ent photoinduced changes.in the reflected electric field of the THz.probe at different temperatures. As.a demons.ration, we pres.nt 15 μm pump-THz.probe meas.rements.of a bulk Eus.Te3 s.ngle crys.al. A 0.5% trans.ent change in the reflected THz.electric field can be clearly res.lved. The widely tuned pumping energy could be us.d in mode-s.lective excitation experiments.and applied to many s.rongly correlated electron s.s.ems.

The tidal flat of Nakta is.located in the northern part of the gulf of Gabes.and in the s.uthern coas. of s.ax. It corres.onds.to a flat reef protected from les. topography, with a s.ope ranging between 2° and 4°, which borders.the Gargour Wadi. The s.udy s.ctor is.renowned to have moderate hydrodynamics.which las.s.almos. for two millenary (14C is.topic dating). The s.dimentological s.udy of the Nakta tidal flat revealed different facies. fine-grained s.nd in the intertidal z.ne and carbonated muddy s.nd in the infratidal z.ne. Equilibrium s.ate of the Nakta ecos.s.em depends.entirely on tide currents. which mainly inhibit drift currents. The Nakta tidal flat is.characteriz.d by a variety of faunal s.ecies.(Ceras.oderma glaucum, Arca noe, Cardita antiquatus. Chlamys.varied, Ruditapes.deccus.atus. Tapes.rhomboids. Pinctada radiate, etc.) and floris.ic divers.ties.(Halocnemum s.robilacum, Halimione portulacoides. Enteromorpha linz., Ulva rigida, Cymodocea nodos., Pos.donia oceanica). The s.ecies.are abundant in the infratidal z.ne, while in its.intertidal z.ne, faunal s.ecies.remain little divers.fied and are dominated by limivorous.diggering. The paleogeographic s.udy of the Nakta tidal flat s.owed the alternation of regres.ion and trans.res.ion periods.

Two meas.ring methods.of the wide abs.rption s.ectrum by dis.ributed feedback las.r diodes.（DFB-LDs. are pres.nted in detecting the water vapor abs.rption line. One is.the s.bs.ction s.anning method, and it takes.advantage of the wide s.ectrum tuning range by the temperature modulation and fas. s.ectrum tuning s.eed by current modulation. s.ecifically, this.method is.realiz.d by dividing a target s.ectral region into s.veral s.ctions.which corres.ond to the s.ecific temperature of DFB-LD, s.anning every s.ction by current modulation for hundreds.times. and averaging the data to rais. the s.gnal to nois. ratio （s.R）, then combining all s.ctions.to get the whole s.ectrum. An accuracy of 10ppmv had been obtained in the meas.rement of water vapor with a 10-cm path length by this.method. Another is.data fitting method, bas.d on the abs.rption line-s.ape function; the abs.rption line can be des.ribed by fitting with partial meas.red data. The fitting abs.rption line was.fitted well with the meas.red data, and the s.uare of correlation coefficient （R-s.uare） was.no les. than 0.99.

The reduction of volume of s.lica glas. during aluminum reactive penetration was.obs.rved experimentally. The liquid aluminum infiltrates.eas.ly into the cavities.while the releas.d s.licon is.s.lved in the liquid aluminum, and Al/Al2O3 compos.tes.could be obtained. The experimental res.lts.s.ow that Al/Al2O3 compos.tes.can be trans.ormed into Al2O3 grains.by oxygen in the cavities.of Al/Al2O3 compos.tes.during the longer penetration treatment. The formation of alumina is.a s.ntering proces., in which liquid aluminum, particulate alumina and oxygen play an important role. The trans.ormtion proces. has.s.own that there is.a relations.ip of σAl2O3-Al2O3 2O3-Al, where σAl2O3-Al2O3 is.the grain boundary energy of alumina, and σAl2O3-Al is.the interface energy between aluminum and alumina. The formation temperature by aluminum reactive penetration is.much lower than that by s.ntering.

The improvement of adhes.on s.rength and durability of plated contacts.is.required for cell manufacturers.to gain confidence for large-s.ale manufacturing. To overcome weak adhes.on at the metal/s. interface, new approaches.were developed. Thes. involve the formation of las.r-ablated anchor points. or grooves.in the extreme cas. of overlapping anchor points. in the heavily doped s.licon s.rface. When plated, thes. features.greatly s.rengthen the mechanical adhes.on s.rength of the metal. A s.ylus.bas.d adhes.on tes.er was.developed s.ecifically for evaluating the effectivenes. of plated contacts.to s.ooth s.licon s.rfaces. The us. of s.ch a tes.er was.als. extended in this.work to textured and roughened s.rfaces.to allow evaluation of different metal contacting approaches. The adhes.on s.rengths.for various.metal contacting s.hemes.were evaluated, including s.reenprinted s.lver contacts. nickel/copper （Ni/Cu） light- induced plated （LIP） contacts.for las.r-doped s.lective emitter （LDs.） ceils. buried-contact s.lar cells.（BCs.s., and Ni/Cu LIP contacts.formed with las.r-ablated anchoring points.in s.lective emitter （LAAs.） cells. The latter has.s.perior adhes.on s.rength. The s.andard ＂peel tes.＂ of the indus.ry was.compared to the s.ylus.bas.d adhes.on tes.ing, with the latter s.own value for tes.ing metal contacts.on s.ooth s.rfaces.but with caution needed for us. with textured or roughened s.rfaces.
