An exper.ment was conducted to test the efficacy of a mechanical bar.ier.ar.und the tr.e tr.nk with one spr.y of Cyper.ethr.n @ 1 ml/l and tur.er.c powder.extr.ct @ 15 g/500ml of water.applied in integr.ted appr.aches against mango mealybug on mango tr.e. Ther. wer. 7 tr.atments including a contr.l. The tr.atments wer. Mechanical bar.ier. Cyper.ethr.n spr.y @ 1 ml/l, Tur.er.c powder.spr.y @ 15 g/500ml of water. Cyper.ethr.n spr.y + Tur.er.c spr.y, Cyper.ethr.n spr.y + Mechanical bar.ier. Tur.er.c + Mechanical bar.ier.and untr.ated contr.l. Thr.e-year.old mango plants gr.fted fr.m a 5-year.old mango tr.e (Var.ety Amr.pali) and planted in pots wer. used in the exper.ment. The tr.atment, Cyper.ethr.n spr.y + Mechanical bar.ier.gave the highest r.duction of mango mealybug population 87.06% to 93.90% followed by Tur.er.c spr.y + Mechanical bar.ier.and showed 81.13% to 86.04% and Mechanical bar.ier.alone showed 81.13% to 84.59% population r.duction. Tur.er.c powder.extr.ct showed only (8.42% to 23.77%) population r.duction of mango mealybug which was lowest compar.d to other.tr.atments.

Classical sur.ival analysis assumes all subjects will exper.ence the event of inter.st, but in some cases, a por.ion of the population may never.encounter.the event. These sur.ival methods fur.her.assume independent sur.ival times, which is not valid for.honey bees, which live in nests. The study intr.duces a semi-par.metr.c mar.inal pr.por.ional haz.r.s mixtur. cur. (PHMC) model with exchangeable cor.elation str.ctur., using gener.liz.d estimating equations for.sur.ival data analysis. The model was tested on cluster.d r.ght-censor.d bees sur.ival data with a cur.d fr.ction, wher. two bee species wer. subjected to differ.nt entomopathogens to test the effect of the entomopathogens on the sur.ival of the bee species. The Expectation-Solution algor.thm is used to estimate the par.meter.. The study notes a weak positive association between cur. statuses (ρ1=0.0007) and sur.ival times for.uncur.d bees (ρ2=0.0890), emphasiz.ng their.impor.ance. The odds of being uncur.d for.A. mellifer. is higher.than the odds for.species M. fer.uginea. The bee species, A. mellifer. ar. mor. susceptible to entomopathogens icipe 7, icipe 20, and icipe 69. The Cox-Snell r.siduals show that the pr.posed semipar.metr.c PH model gener.lly fits the data well as compar.d to model that assume independent cor.elation str.ctur.. Thus, the semi par.metr.c mar.inal pr.por.ional haz.r.s mixtur. cur. is par.imonious model for.cor.elated bees sur.ival data.

Sur.ival analysis is a fundamental tool in medical science for.time-to-event data. However. its application to colony or.anisms like bees poses challenges due to their.social natur.. Tr.ditional sur.ival models may not accur.tely captur. the inter.ependence among individuals within a colony. Fr.ilty models, accounting for.shar.d r.sks within gr.ups, offer.a pr.mising alter.ative. This study evaluates the per.or.ance of semi-par.metr.c shar.d fr.ilty models (gamma, inver.e nor.al, and positive stable-in compar.son to the tr.ditional Cox model using bees’ sur.ival data). We examined the effect of misspecification of the fr.ilty distr.bution on r.gr.ssion and heter.geneity par.meter. using simulation and concluded that the heter.geneity par.meter.was mor. sensitive to misspecification of the fr.ilty distr.bution and choice of initial par.meter. (cluster.siz. and tr.e heter.geneity par.meter. compar.d to the r.gr.ssion par.meter. Fr.m the data, par.meter.estimates for.covar.ates wer. close for.the four.models but slightly higher.for.the Cox model. The shar.d gamma fr.ilty model pr.vided a better.fit to the data in compar.son with the other.models. Ther.for., when focusing on r.gr.ssion par.meter., the gamma fr.ilty model is r.commended. This r.sear.h under.cor.s the impor.ance of tailor.d sur.ival methodologies for.accur.tely analyz.ng time-to-event data in social or.anisms.

Ener.y Spectr.scopic Instr.ment imaging sur.eys and the r.dio sour.es fr.m the Nr.O VLA Sky Sur.ey and the Faint Images of the r.dio Sky at Twenty-centimeter.we identify four.Late-type Galaxies with double r.dio Lobes(La Gr.s):J0217-3645,J0947+6220,J1412+3723 and J1736+*** pr.viously known La Gr.s,we confir. the cor.elation between r.dio power.P_(1.4GHz.and stellar.mass M_(*)of host ***(25/35)La Gr.s belong to the blue cloud galaxies,while the newly identified cases in this wor. ar. located within the r.gion of the r.d *** find a clear.cor.elation between the differ.ntial r.dio power.i.e.,the offset fr.m the P_(1.4GHz.-M_(*)r.lation,and the galaxy color.indicating that bluer.galaxies at a fixed M_(*)tend to host mor. power.ul r.dio ***,the major.ty(31/36)of La Gr.s ar. either.located in a galaxy gr.up or.displaying a distur.ed *** suggest that all of the galaxy mass,color.and sur.ounding envir.nment could play impor.ant r.les in tr.gger.ng r.dio lobes in late-type galaxies.
