Discovering more and new geometrically frustrated systems remains an active point of inquiry in fundamental physics for the existence of unusual states of ***,we report spin-liquid-like behavior in a two-dimensional(2D)rhombic lattice Fe-metal-organic framework(Fe-MOF)with frustrated *** Fe-MOF exhibits a high frustration factor f=|θCW|/TN≥315,and its long-range magnetic order is suppressed down to 180 *** theoretical calculations demonstrate strong antiferromagnetic coupling between adjacent Fe3+ions,indicating the potential of a classical spin-liquid-like ***,a T-linear heat capacity parameter,γ,originating from electronic contributions and with magnetic field independence up to 8 T,can be observed in the specific heat capacity measurements at low-temperature,providing further proof for the spin-liquid-like *** work highlights the potential of MOF materials in geometrically frustrated systems,and will promote the research of exotic quantum physics phenomena.

Under high relative humidity(RH)conditions,the release of volatile components(such as acetate)has a significant impact on the aerosol *** this work,one surface plasmon resonance microscopy(SPRM)measurement system was introduced to determine the hygroscopic growth factors(GFs)of three acetate aerosols separately or mixed with glucose at different *** Ca(CH_(3)COO)_(2) or Mg(CH_(3)COO)_(2) aerosols,the hygroscopic growth trend of each time was lower than that of the previous time in three cyclic humidification from 70% RH to 90% RH,which may be due to the volatility of acetic acid leading to the formation of insoluble hydroxide(Ca(OH)_(2) or Mg(OH)_(2))under high RH *** the third calculated GF(using the zdanovskii-Stokes-Robinson method)for Ca(CH_(3)COO)_(2) or Mg(CH_(3)COO)_(2) in bicomponent aerosols with 1:1 mass ratio were 3.20% or 5.33% lower than that of the first calculated GF at 90% *** calculated results also showed that the hygroscopicity change of bicomponent aerosol was negatively correlated with glucose content,especially when the mass ratio of Mg(CH_(3)COO)_(2) to glucose was 1:2,the GF at 90% RH only decreased by4.67% after three cyclic *** coupled plasma atomic emission spectrum(ICP-AES)based measurements also indicated that the changes of Mg^(2+)concentration in bicomponent was lower than that of the *** results of this study reveal thatduring the efflorescence transitions of atmospheric nanoparticles,the organic acids diffusion rate may be inhibited by the coating effect of neutral organic components,and the particles aging cycle will be prolonged.

In today’s society,there is a wide demand for high-precision and high-stability time service in the fields of electric power,communication,transportation and *** present,the time standard in various countries is mainly based on atomic clocks,but the frequency drift of atomic clocks will affect the long-term stability *** with atomic clocks,millisecond pulsars have better long-term stability and can complement with the excellent short-term stability of atomic *** order to improve the long-term stability of the atomic timescale,and then improve the timing accuracy,this paper proposes an algorithm for steering the atomic clock ensemble(ACE)by ensemble pulsar time(EPT)based on digital phase locked loop(DPLL).First,the ACE and EPT are generated by the ALGOS algorithm,then the ACE is steered by EPT based on DPLL to calibrate the long-term frequency drift of the atomic clock,so that the generated steered atomic time follows both the short-term stability characteristics of ACE and the long-term stability characteristics of EPT,and finally,the steered atomic time is used to calibrate the local cesium *** experimental results show that the long-term stability of atomic time after steering is improved by 2 orders of magnitude compared with that before steering,and the daily drift of a local cesium clock after calibration is less than 9.47 ns in 3 yr,3 orders of magnitude higher than that before calibration on accuracy.

Photoelectrochemical NO_(3)^(-)reduction(PEC NITRR)not only provides a promising solution for promoting the global nitrogen cycle,but also converts NO_(3)^(-)to the important chemicals(NH_(3)).However,it is still a great challenge to prepare catalysts with excellent NO_(3)^(-)adsorption/activation capacity to achieve high ***,we designed a novel Fe^(2+)~Cu^(2+)Fe^(3+)LDH/BiVO_(4)(FCF-LDH/BVO)catalyst with synergistic effect of chemical adsorption and physical ***^(2+)in FCF-LDH/BVO provides the rich Lewis acid sites for the adsorption of NO_(3)^(-),and the appropriate layer spacing of FCF-LDH further promotes the physical enrichment of NO_(3)^(-)in its interior,thus realizing the effective contact between NO_(3)^(-)and active sites(Fe^(2+)).FCF-LDH/BVO showed excellent NH_(3)production performance(FE_(NH_(3))=66.1%,r_(NH_(3))=13.8μg h^(-1)cm^(-2))and selectivity(FE_(NO_(2)^(-))=2.5%,r_(NO_(2)^(-))=4.9μg h^(-1)cm^(-2))in 0.5 mol L^(-1)Na_(2)SO_(4)*** addition,FCF-LDH/BVO maintains the desirable PEC stability for six cycle experiments,showing great potential for practical ***^(14)NO_(3)^(-)and^(15)NO_(3)^(-)isotope test provides strong evidence for further verification of the origin of N in the generated NH_(3).This LDH catalyst has a great potential in PEC removal of NO_(3)^(-)from groundwater.

Effects of two silicone resin coatings on performance of FeSiAl magnetic powder cores

Two silicon resins with excellent thermal stability,JH1123 and JH7102,are used as the insulated agents and binders for the gas-atomized FeSiAl powder,and corresponding magnetic powder cores(MPCs)are *** insulation capability and application prospects of the two silicon resins are evaluated by comparing the magnetic properties of the coated powder and *** scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy results show that uniform insulation layers are both formed on the powder ***1123 has stronger binding ability,and the JH1123-coated powder exhibits severe agglomeration,with d50(average particle size)approximately twice that of the JH7102-coated *** as-prepared MPCs exhibit outstanding soft magnetic ***,the permeability of FeSiAl@JH1123 is up to 74.0,which is 35.5%higher than that of FeSiAl@JH7102 because JH1123 can further improve the density of the *** for FeSiAl@JH7102,it has better direct current bias and lower core loss of 716.9 mW cm^(−3) at 20 mT and 1000 kHz due to its lower coercivity and greater anti-magnetic saturation ability.A comprehensive comparison shows that FeSiAl@JH1123 is suitable for medium and high frequency applications,while FeSiAl@JH7102 is more suitable for high frequency *** indicates that the use of JH1123 and JH7102 silicon resins for binding and insulated coating not only simplifies the preparation process of MPCs,but also enables the controlled production of MPCs for different applications.

The poor reversibility of zn anodes induced by dendrite growth,surface passivation,and corrosion,severely hinders the practical applicability of zn metal *** address these issues,a plasmaassisted aerogel(PAG)interface engineering was proposed as efficient ion transport modulator that can simultaneously regulate uniform zn^(2+)flux and desolvation behavior during battery *** PAG with ordered mesopores acted as an ion sieve to homogenize zn deposition and accelerate zn^(2+)flux,which is favorable for corrosion resistance and dendrite ***,the plasma-assisted aerogel with abundant hydrophilic groups can facilitate the desolvation kinetics of zn^(2+)due to the multiple hydrogen-bonding interaction with the activated water molecules,thus accelerating the zn^(2+)migration ***,the zn/zn cell assembled with PAG-modified separator demonstrates stable plating and stripping behavior(over 1400 h at 1 mA cm^(-2))and high Coulombic efficiency(99.8%at1 mA cm^(-2)after 1100 cycles),and the zn‖MnO_(2)full cell shows excellent long-term cycling stability and maintains a high capacity of 154.9 mA h g^(-1)after 1000 cycles at 1 A g^(-1).This study provides a feasible approach for the large-scale fabrication of aerogel functionalized separators to realize ultra-stable zn metal batteries.

Recently great effort s have been focused on designing high-performance microwave absorbers using sustainable biomass resources,but there remains a lack of green and efficient fabrication ***,inspired by natural porous character of biomass waste,we demonstrated a green one-step route to convert waste coffee grounds into porous C/Fe hybrids,and further explored their potential applications for broadband and high-efficiency microwave *** this design,the WCG-20-750(incorporated 20 wt%Fe(C_(5)H_(7)O_(2))_(3)catalyst and carbonized at 750℃)exhibited porous microstructure with the highest char yield of 55.45 wt%.Furthermore,the as-prepared C/Fe hybrids from WCG-20-750 displayed excellent microwave absorption ***,the minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))reached to-52.86 dB and the widest effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)was 6.40 GHz at the thickness of 3.0 *** work provides an economically viable and environmentally friendly strategy to convert biomass wastes into value-added microwave absorbers,ultimately making contributions to the upcycling of renewable biomass resources and the fostering of sustainable environment.

Research on the quasi-isentropic driving model of aluminized explosives in the detonation wave propagation direction

Taking CL-20(Hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane)-based aluminized explosives with high gurney energy as the research object, this research experimentally investigates the work capability of different aluminized explosive formulations when driving metal flyer plates in the denotation wave propagation *** research results showed that the formulations with 43 μm aluminum(Al) powder particles(The particle sizes of Al powder were in the range of 2~43 μm) exhibited the optimal performance in driving flyer plates along the denotation wave propagation direction. Compared to the formulations with Al powder 13 μm, the formulations with Al powder 2 μm delivered better performance in accelerating metal flyer plates in the early stage, which, however, turned to be poor in the later stage. The CL-20-based explosives containing 25% Al far under-performed those containing 15% Al. Based on the proposed quasi-isentropic hypothesis, relevant isentropy theories, and the functional relationship between detonation parameters and entropy as well as Al reaction degree, the characteristic lines of aluminized explosives in accelerating flyer plates were theoretically studied, a quasi-isentropic theoretical model for the aluminized explosive driving the flyer plate was built and the calculation methods for the variations of flyer plate velocity, Al reaction degree, and detonation product parameters with time and axial positions were developed. The theoretical model built is verified by the experimental results of the CL-20-based aluminized explosive driving flyer plate. It was found that the model built could accurately calculate the variations of flyer plate velocity and Al reaction degree over time. In addition, how physical parameters including detonation product pressure and temperature varied with time and axial positions was identified. The increase to the proportion of fluxed pellets in the blast furnace burden is a useful way to reduce the carbon emissions in the ironmaking *** this study,the interaction between calcium carbonate and iron ore powder and the mineralization mechanism of fluxed iron ore pellet in the roasting process were investigated through diffusion couple *** electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy was used to study the elements’diffusion and phase transformation during the roasting *** results indicated that limestone decomposed into calcium oxide,and magnetite was oxidized to hematite at the early stage of *** the increase in roasting temperature,the diffusion rate of Fe and Ca was obviously accelerated,while the diffusion rate of Si was relatively *** order of magnitude of interdiffusion coefficient of Fe_(2)O_(3)-CaO diffusion couple was 10^(−10) m^(2)·s^(−1) at a roasting temperature of 1200℃for 9 ***_(2)Fe_(2)O_(5) was the initial product in the Fe_(2)O_(3)-CaO-SiO_(2) diffusion interface,and then Ca_(2)Fe_(2)O_(5) continued to react with Fe_(2)O_(3) to form CaFe_(2)O_(4).With the expansion of the diffusion region,the sillico-ferrite of calcium liquid phase was produced due to the melting of SiO_(2) into CaFe_(2)O_(4),which can strengthen the consolidation of fluxed ***,andradite would be formed around a small part of quartz particles,which is also conducive to the consolidation of fluxed *** addition,the principle diagram of limestone and quartz diffusion reaction in the process of fluxed pellet roasting was discussed.
