Effect of bending and tension deformation on the texture evolution and stretch formability of Mg-Zn-RE-Zr alloy

Bending and tension deformations were performed on Mg-1.3 wt%Zn-0.2 wt%RE-0.3 wt%Zr(ZEK100)alloy sheets that initially had a transverse direction(TD)-split *** effects of bending and tension deformations on the texture formation and room-temperature formability of specimens were *** specimen subjected to 3-pass bending and tension deformations exhibited an excellent Erichsen value of 9.6 ***,the Erichsen value deterioration was observed in the specimen subjected to 7-pass *** rolling direction-split texture developed on the surface with an increasing pass number of ***,the clear TD-split texture remained at the central *** a result,a quadrupole texture was macroscopically developed with an increasing pass number of *** reduction in anisotropy by the formation of the quadrupole texture is suggested to be the main reason for the improvement in stretch *** contrast,the generation of coarse grains near the surface is suggested to be the direct cause for the deterioration of the stretch formability of the specimen subjected to 7-pass deformations.

This paper describes attitude dynamics properties of spinning,momentum-biased and zero-momentum solar sail *** model called“Generalized Sail Dynamics Model”(GSDM)is introduced,which can deal with general and practical sail configurations,such as arbitrary optical property distribution,shape and surface *** stability criteria and other key dynamical characteristics are derived and compared by compact analytical equations induced from the *** newly derived zero-momentum sail dynamics is compared with that of spinning and momentum-biased *** is shown that the spinning and momentum sails have an advantage in terms of dynamical stability whereas zero-momentum sails are only statically *** this special property,angular momentum-stabilized sails can realize a sun-pointing stable attitude with almost zero-fuel,which are discussed with actual space flight experience of the JAXA’s two interplanetary missions,IKAROS and Hayabusa2.

目的:建立一种人血清伏立康唑(VRC)血药浓度高效液相测定法,能快速、准确、稳定为儿童血液疾病患者监测伏立康唑血药浓度,为指导临床用药奠定基础。方法:采用反相-HPLC法,色谱柱为Eclipse XDB-C18柱,4.6 mm×150 mm,5μm。流动相:甲酸铵水溶液(pH 4.0)∶乙腈=66:34;流速:1.0 mL/min;波长:256 nm;Waters Sep-Pak C18固相萃取小柱对血样进行预处理。结果:VRC和内标峰保留时间分别为9.7 min和11.0 min,分离良好,血样中内源性物质无干扰;回归方程Y=0.295 3X-0.004 3,R2=0.999,血清中VRC线性范围为0.10~19.87μg/mL,定量下限为0.10μg/mL;准确度、精密度、稳定性RSD均<5%。对6名患者进行了血样监测。结论:伏立康唑血药浓度在儿童中个体差异大,对儿童血液疾病患者开展治疗药物监测,有助于提高临床疗效,减少不良反应的发生风险。本方法操作简便,结果准确,适用于临床中伏立康唑的治疗药物监测。

A preliminary study on the effects of line and selective thinning on bird communities in Hokkaido, northern Japan

In Japan, selective thinning is a common thinning method, though line thinning receives much attention because of its economic merits. In this study, we examined effects of the two thinning methods on bird communities in Todo fir （Abies sachalinensis） plantations in Hok- kaido, Japan. We surveyed bird species in forests under four different management types - unthinned, selectively thinned, line-thinned planta- tion, and naturally regenerated forest （here after referred to as natural forest） stands - using a line-transect method. We also investigated vege- tation structure （canopy tree and understory） of these stands. Bird species richness did not differ between natural forests and plantations, while bird total abundance was greater in plantations than in natural forests. Bird species richness and total abundance were comparable among the three management types for plantations. Abundances of 10 bird species were different among the four management types, and five species were more abundant in line-thinned plantations. However, two species were more abundant in selectively thinned stands than in line-thinned stands, and they frequently appeared in natural forests. There were no distinct differ- ences in vegetation structure among the management types for planta- tions. Our results suggest that line thinning could be beneficial for some bird species in plantations.

This paper presents the optical navigation results of the asteroid explorer Hayabusa2 during the final rendezvous approach phase with the asteroid *** orbit determination of Hayabusa2 during the cruising phase uses a triangulation-based method that estimates the probe and asteroid orbits using the directions from which they are ***,the asteroid size is available as optical information just prior to *** size information allows us to estimate the relative distance between the probe and the asteroid with high accuracy,that is strongly related to the success or failure of the *** this study,the relative distance and asteroid size in real space are simultaneously estimated in real time by focusing on the rate of change of the asteroid size observed in sequential *** real-time estimation results coincided with those of precise analyses performed after arrival.

Holographic quantitative structure activity relationship(HQSAR) is an emerging QSAR technique with the combined application of molecular hologram, which encoded the frequency of occurrence of various molecular fragment types, and the subsequent partial least squares(PLS) regression analysis. In this paper, the acute toxicity data to the guppy( poecilia reticulata) for a series of 56 substituted benzenes, phenols, aromatic amines and nitro aromatics were subjected and this resulted in a model with a high predictive ability. The influence of fragment size and fragment distinction parameters on the quality of HQSAR model was investigated. The robustness and predictive ability of the model were also validated by leave one out (LOO) cross validation procedure and external testing data set.

Nurses' and students' perception of risk from medical practices

Objectives: To determine the risk perceptions of a series of medical practices in non-expert (un-dergraduates) and expert (nurses) ***: Four hundred and forty-seven nurses and 246 undergraduate students participated in this study. They all answered questionnaires about the risk dimensions and acceptance for medical practices. Results: An exploratory factor analysis on participants' answers to various dimensions of risk yielded a two-factor structure for risk perception in both samples: for nurses, the factors were"Unknown"and"Dread,"while for students, they were"Dread"and"Lack of Independence."For both nurses and stu-dents, the factor scores of Dread negatively related to individual risk acceptance of medical practices. Furthermore, nurses tended to be more accepting of practices that they knew well (i.e., low Unknown scale scores). For students, the subscale scores of the Lack of Independence factor negatively related to individual risk acceptance only for health examination practices. Nurses conceived risks more correctly and concretely compared to students. This was especially pronounced for practices related to medication use. Conclusions: Although both nurses and students conceived various risk contents from medical practices, their conceptions still differed. Knowledge of these differences in the structure of risk perception and conceived risk contents of various medical practices between nurses and students could be utilized to improve risk communication in clinical practice.

Enrichment of volatile organic compounds(VOC) and semi-volatility organic compounds(SVOC) in surface microlayer(SM) of three drinking water sources were studied. The enrichment factor( EF s) were 0.67 to 13.37 and 0.16 to 136, respectively. The results showed some VOC and most SVOC could enrich in SM. Some EF s of SVOC was quite high. Suspension and temperature could affect EF s of SVOC, slim wind and water movement do not destroy enrichment of organic in SM.

Reflection of ultraviolet （UV） light by the wings of the female Eurasian cabbage butterfly, Pieris rapae, shows a large geographic variation. The wings of the female of the European subspecies, P. rapae rapae, reflect little UV light, while butterflies of the Asian subspecies, P. rapae crucivora, may reflect it strongly or at only intermediate levels. The geographic region where P. rapae originated remains to be determined, Moreover, it is not clear if females with wings that reflect little UV light are ancestral to females with wings that reflect UV strongly or vice versa. In the present study, we aimed to determine the geographic origin and ancestral UV pattern of cabbage butterflies through mitochondrial DNA （mtDNA） sequence analysis and amplified fragment length polymorphism （AFLP） analysis. The results of these investigations suggest that P. rapae is of European origin and that it has expanded its distribution eastward to Asia. It follows that the ancestral subspecies is the type with UV-absorbing wings. Lower nucleotide diversities and haplotype network patterns ofmtDNA derived from East Asian populations suggest that population expansion from Europe to East Asia probably occurred fairly recently and at a rapid rate.
