Reducing CO_(2)emissions of the iron and steel industry,a typical heavy CO_(2)-emitting sector is the only way that must be passed to achieve the‘dual-carbon’goal,especially in *** previous studies,however,it is still unknown what is the difference between blast furnace basic oxygen furnace(BF-BOF),scrap-electric furnace(scrap-EF)and hydrogen metallurgy *** quantitative research on the key factors affecting CO_(2)emissions is insufficient There is also a lack of research on the prediction of CO_(2)emissions by adjusting industria *** on material flow analysis,this study establishes carbon flow diagrams o three processes,and then analyze the key factors affecting CO_(2)***_(2)emissions of the iron and steel industry in the future is predicted by adjusting industrial structure The results show that:(1)The CO_(2)emissions of BF-BOF,scrap-EF and hydrogen metallurgy process in a site are 1417.26,542.93 and 1166.52 kg,respectively.(2)By increasing pellet ratio in blast furnace,scrap ratio in electric furnace,etc.,can effectively reduce CO_(2)emissions(3)Reducing the crude steel output is the most effective CO_(2)reduction *** is still 5.15×10^(8)-6.17×10^(8) tons of CO_(2)that needs to be reduced by additional measures.

A sandwich plate with a corrugation and auxetic honeycomb hybrid core is constructed, and its sound insulation and optimization are investigated. First, the motion governing equation of the sandwich plate is established by the third-order shear deformation theory(TSDT), and then combined with the fluid-structure coupling conditions,and the sound insulation is solved. The theoretical results are validated by COMSOL simulation results, and the effects of the structural parameter on the sound insulation are analyzed. Finally, the standard genetic algorithm is adopted to optimize the sound insulation of the sandwich plate.

Lipin proteins including Lipin 1–3 act as transcriptional co-activators and phosphatidic acid phosphohydrolase enzymes,which play crucial roles in lipid ***,little is known about the function of Lipin3 in triglyceride(TG)***,we identified a novel mutation(NM_001301860:p.1835A>T/p.D612V)of Lipin3 in a large family with hypertriglyceridemia(HTG)and obesity through whole-exome sequencing and Sanger *** studies revealed that the novel variant altered the half-life and stability of the Lipin3 ***,we generated Lipin3 heterozygous knockout(Lipin3-heKO)mice and cultured primary hepatocytes to explore the pathophysiological roles of Lipin3 in TG *** found that Lipin3-heKO mice exhibited obvious obesity,HTG,and non-alcoholic fatty liver *** study demonstrated that the haploinsufficiency of Lipin3 in primary hepatocytes may induce the overexpression and abnormal distribution of Lipin1 in cytosol and *** increased expression of Lipin1 in cytosol may contribute to TG anabolism,and the decreased Lipin1 in nucleoplasm can reduce PGC1α,further leading to mitochondrial dysfunction and reduced TG *** study suggested that Lipin3 was a novel disease-causing gene inducing obesity and *** also established a relationship between Lipin3 and mitochondrial dysfunction.

Detecting changes in surface air temperature in mid-and low-altitude mountainous regions is essential for a comprehensive understanding of warming trend with *** use daily surface air temperature data from 64 meteorological stations in Wuyi Mountains and its adjacent regions to analyze the spatio-temporal patterns of temperature *** results show that Wuyi Mountains have experienced significant warming from 1961 to *** warming trend of the mean temperature is 0.20℃/decade,the maximum temperature is 0.17℃/decade,and the minimum temperature is 0.26℃/*** 1961-1990,more than 63%of the stations showed a decreasing trend in annual mean temperature,mainly because the maximum temperature decreased during this ***,in 1971-2000,1981-2010 and 1991-2018,the maximum,minimum and mean temperatures *** fastest increasing trend of mean temperature occurred in the southeastern coastal plains,the quickest increasing trend of maximum temperature occurred in the northwestern mountainous region,and the increase of minimum temperature occurred faster in the southeastern coastal and northwestern mountainous regions than that in the central ***,this study suggests that elevation does not affect warming in the Wuyi *** results are beneficial for understanding climate change in humid subtropical middle and low mountains.

Hyperuricemia is a metabolic disorder caused by abnormal purine metabolism,resulting in abnormally high serum uric *** this study,a novel Levilactobacillus brevis PDD-5 isolated from salty vegetables was verified with the function of alleviating *** relevant effects of *** PDD-5 in lowering uric acid were analyzed by in vitro and in vivo *** results showed that the *** PDD-5 has(68.86±15.46)%of inosine uptake capacity and(95.75±3.30)%of guanosine uptake capacity in *** administration of *** PDD-5 to hyperuricemia rats reduced uric acid,creatinine,and urea nitrogen in serum,as well as decreased inosine and guanosine levels in the intestinal contents of *** of relevant markers in the kidney by ELISA kits revealed that *** PDD-5 alleviated oxidative stress and ***,the gene expression of uric acid transporter 1(URAT1)and glucose transporter 9(GLUT9)was down-regulated,and the gene expression of organic anion transporter 1(OAT1)was up-regulated after treatment with *** *** blot analysis showed that *** PDD-5 alleviated hyperuricemia-induced kidney injury through the NLRP3 *** se findings suggest that *** PDD-5 can lower uric acid,repair kidney damage,and also has the potential to prevent uric acid nephropathy.

A large volume of bacterially produced precipitates are generated during the bio-treatment of heavy metal *** composition of the bacterially produced precipitates and its effects on sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) in copper-containing waste stream were evaluated in this *** elemental composition of the microbial precipitate was studied using electrodispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX),and it was found that the ratio of S:Cu was *** with the results of copper distribution in the SRB metabolism culture,which was analyzed by the sequential extraction procedure,copper in the precipitates was determined as covellite (CuS).The bacterially produced precipitates caused a decrease of the sulfate reduction rate,and the more precipitates were generated,the lower the sulfate reduction rate *** particle sizes of bacterially generated covellite were ranging from 0.03 to 2 m by particles size distribution (PSD) analysis,which was smaller than that of the SRB *** electron microscopy (TEM) analysis showed that the microbial covellite was deposited on the surface of the *** effects of the microbial precipitate on SRB metabolism were found to be weakened by increasing the precipitation time and adding microbial polymeric substances in later *** results provided direct evidence that the SRB activity was inhibited by the bacterially produced covellite,which enveloped the bacterium and thus affected the metabolism of SRB on mass transfer.

Preparation of Tartary Buckwheat Seed Coating Agent and Its Effect on Germination

To mitigate the wastage of seed resources and reduce the usage of pesticides and fertilizers, seed coating agentshave gained popularity. This study employs single-factor and multi-index orthogonal experimental design methodsto investigate the seed coating formula and physical properties of Tartary buckwheat. The specific effects ofeach component on Tartary buckwheat seed germination are analyzed. The findings reveal that the seed coatingagent formulated with 1.5% polyvinyl alcohol, 0.15% sodium alginate, 0.2% op-10, 0.1% polyacrylamide, 8% colorant,3% ammonium sulfate, 1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate, and 0.15% carbendazim exhibits the mosteffective coating. It demonstrates optimal physical properties and promotes seed germination efficiently. The suspensionrate of this seed coating agent reaches 91.12%, with a mere 2.13% coating shedding rate and 2.5% coatingseed rot rate. Furthermore, it achieves a germination percentage of 99.17%, which is 20.84% higher than the lowestgroup. The germination potential and index are also significantly higher than the lowest group, with anincrease of 20.84% and 26.56%, respectively. Additionally, the vitality index is 553.08, a 15.75% increase comparedto the lowest group. The application of seed coating agents helps reduce seed resource loss, increase plant numbers,and ultimately enhance agricultural yields. This finding holds practical significance in agriculturalproduction.

Atherosclerosis is an inflammatory disease that may cause severe heart disease and *** pharmacotherapy for atherosclerosis shows limited *** the progression of atherosclerosis,monocyte adhesions and inflammatory macrophages play vital ***,precise regulations of inflammatory immune microenvironments in pathological tissues remain ***,we report an atherosclerotic plaque-targeted selenopeptide nanomedicine for inhibiting atherosclerosis progression by reducing monocyte adhesions and inflammation of *** targeted nanomedicine has 2.2-fold enhancement in atherosclerotic lesion *** oxidation-responsibility of selenopeptide enables eliminations of reactive oxygen species and specific release of anti-inflammatory drugs,thereby reducing inflammation responses of ***,we find the oxidative metabolite of selenopeptide,octadecyl selenite,can bind to P-selectin in a high affinity with a dissociation constant of 1.5μ*** in situ generated active seleno-species further inhibit monocyte adhesions for anti-inflammation in *** local regulations of monocyte adhesions and inflammations,the selenopeptide nanomedicine achieves 2.6-fold improvement in atherosclerotic plaque inhibition compared with simvastatin in the atherosclerosis mouse ***,the selenopeptide nanomedicine also displays excellent biological safety in both mice and rhesus *** study provides a safe and effective platform for regulating inflammatory immune microenvironments for inflammatory diseases such as atherosclerosis.

Parasitic plants and their hosts communicate through haustorial *** deficiency is a common stress for plants,yet little is known about whether and how host plants and parasites communicate during adaptation to such nutrient *** this study,we used transcriptomics and proteomics to analyze how soybean(Glycine max)and its parasitizing dodder(Cuscuta australis)respond to nitrate and phosphate deficiency(-N and-P).After-N and-P treatment,the soybean and dodder plants exhibited substantial changes of transcriptome and proteome,although soybean plants showed very few transcriptional responses to-P and dodder did not show any transcriptional changes to either-N ***,large-scale interplant transport of mRNAs and proteins was *** the mobile mRNAs only comprised at most 0.2%of the transcriptomes,the foreign mobile proteins could reach 6.8%of the total proteins,suggesting that proteins may be the major forms of interplant ***,the interplant mobility of macromolecules was specifically affected by the nutrient regimes and the transport of these macromolecules was very likely independently *** study provides new insight into the communication between host plants and parasites under stress conditions.

In vitro simulated colonic fermentation studies have shown the prebiotic potential of exopolysaccharides from Lactiplantibacillus plantarum YY-112 (YEPS). Its immunomodulatory effects and related mechanisms were systematically investigated in this study. We observed that YEPS intervene in immune responses and improve intestinal microbial structure in normal mice， including significantly increasing the relative abundance of Enterorhabdus and norank＿f＿＿norank＿o＿＿Clostridia UCG-014 as well as decreasing that of unclassified＿c＿＿Bacilli (P < 0.05). In the immunocompromised mouse model， YEPS decreased IL-6 levels (P < 0.05) and protected the spleen by regulating lymphocyte levels. YEPS preserved the intestinal barrier by improving Mucin 2， Zonula occludens protein 1， and Occludin expression. Moreover， YEPS significantly reduced the relative abundance of Bacillus， unclassified＿c＿＿Bacilli， Lachnoclostridium， Eubacterium＿xylanophilum＿group， and Desulfovibrio (P < 0.05)， potentially enhancing mice immunity by improving the intestinal microbiota associated with immune function. In conclusion， YEPS can be used as a natural functional extract with prebiotic effects that may improve host immunity. This provided the basis for the application of YEPS as a novel potential food additive.
