Agricultural heritage systems have the characteristics of ecological fragility and cultural *** a long time,the conservation and sustainable development of agricultural heritage systems have received attention from all ***,there are few measurements of tourism disturbance(TD)and community resilience(CR)in agricultural heritage sites,and research on the relationship between the two is even more *** study selects six villages in the Honghe Hani Rice Terraced System(HHRTS)as examples and constructs an evaluation system for TD and *** questionnaires and in-depth interviews,it explores the response relationship between TD and CR of heritage site,and compares the response relationship of villages in different stages of tourism *** results indicate that the heritage site's current response relationship between TD and CR shows a positive response type,and the development of tourism has brought positive responses and *** are differences in the interactive relationship between TD and CR among communities with different levels of tourism *** communities with poor tourism development,CR is more susceptible to the impact of TD than other *** stability of the relationship between TD and CR response gradually tends to stabilize from poor,good,and moderate tourism development.

This paper introduces an intelligent computational approach for extracting salient objects fromimages and estimatingtheir distance information with PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras. PTZ cameras have found wide applications innumerous public places, serving various purposes such as public securitymanagement, natural disastermonitoring,and crisis alarms, particularly with the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence and global infrastructuralprojects. In this paper, we combine Gauss optical principles with the PTZ camera’s capabilities of horizontal andpitch rotation, as well as optical zoom, to estimate the distance of the *** present a novel monocular objectdistance estimation model based on the Focal Length-Target Pixel Size (FLTPS) relationship, achieving an accuracyrate of over 95% for objects within a 5 km range. The salient object extraction is achieved through a simplifiedconvolution kernel and the utilization of the object’s RGB features, which offer significantly faster computingspeeds compared to Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Additionally, we introduce the dark channel beforethe fog removal algorithm, resulting in a 20 dB increase in image definition, which significantly benefits distanceestimation. Our system offers the advantages of stability and low device load, making it an asset for public securityaffairs and providing a reference point for future developments in surveillance hardware.

在医学教育领域,人工智能技术的应用前景广阔,但其在特定知识领域的准确性和可靠性尚须提高,这限制了其在医学教学辅助智能问答系统中的应用普及。为了解决这一问题,本研究尝试探索一种结合检索增强生成(retrieval augmented generation,RAG)技术和临床医学专业教科书知识库的方法,以提高智能问答系统的准确性和可靠性,并减少人工智能幻觉的产生。结果显示,该系统能够为医学生提供丰富、准确且可靠的医学知识资源;在准确性和可靠性方面也显著优于仅依赖大语言模型的智能平台;能为学生提供智能化的学习支持。这表明,通过整合先进的人工智能技术和专业的医学知识库,可以有效提升医学教育的质量和效率。

Selective liquid directional steering enabled by dual-scale reentrant ratchets

Achieving well-controlled directional steering of liquids is of great significance for both fundamental study and practical applications, such as microfluidics, biomedicine, and heat management. Recent advances allow liquids with different surface tensions to select their spreading directions on a same surface composed of macro ratchets with dual reentrant curvatures. Nevertheless, such intriguing directional steering function relies on 3D printed sophisticated structures and additional polishing process to eliminate the inevitable microgrooves-like surface deficiency generated from printing process, which increases the manufacturing complexity and severally hinders practical applications. Herein, we developed a simplified dual-scale structure that enables directional liquid steering via a straightforward 3D printing process without the need of any physical and chemical post-treatment. The dual-scale structure consists of macroscale tilt ratchet equipped with a reentrant tip and microscale grooves that decorated on the whole surface along a specific orientation. Distinct from conventional design requiring the elimination of microgrooves-like surface deficiency, we demonstrated that the microgrooves of dual-scale structure play a key role in delaying or promoting the local flow of liquids, tuning of which could even enable liquids select different spreading pathways. This study provides a new insight for developing surfaces with tunable multi-scale structures, and also advances our fundamental understanding of the interaction between liquid spreading dynamics and surface topography.

The past several years have witnessed the rapid development in effectively transforming randomly distributed water kinetic energy into electrical energy,especially triggered by the emergence of droplet‐based electricity generators(DEG).Despite this,it still suffers from relatively low average power density,which is also achieved at the cost of long charging time,the time to reach stable and saturated surface charge density either through continuous droplet impingement or *** the harvested energy per droplet in DEG remains as the dominant metric,ultrahigh instantaneous output and short charging time are equally important in some specialized applications such as instantaneous ***,we conduct systematical modeling and optimization to build the link between the hydrodynamic and electrical systems,which enables us to determine ultrahigh instantaneous output and short charging time by tailoring parameters such as dielectric layer thickness,droplet ion concentration,and external *** envision that this strategy in achieving ultrahigh instantaneous output as well as shortening charging time would provide insights and design routes for water energy harvesting.

The involvement of the endoplasmic reticulum(ER)-localized adenylate transporter1(ER-ANT1)in photorespiratory metabolism has been established,yet its precise physiological function remains *** er-ant1 mutant plants grown in ambient air exhibited stunted growth and substantial alterations in amino acid metabolites,but recovery in a high CO_(2) condition(1.5%).We show that the absence of ERANT1 hindered the breakdown of glycine without affecting its synthesis,leading to a substantial accumulation of glycine,diminished levels of serine,and depleted reserves of glutamate and ***,the er-ant1 plants grown in high CO_(2) and later exposed to ambient air displayed reduced serine levels within 12 h,yet they accumulated serine a week after transferring to ambient air due to induced phosphorylated serine synthesis ***,knockout of ER-ANT1 marginally impacted the transcription of genes governing core enzymes in photorespiration,but notably upregulated BOU expression that encodes a putative mitochondrial glutamate transporter and AGAT1 that encodes an alanine:glyoxylate aminotransferase ***,AGAT1,an ER-localized protein,exhibited higher activity that correlates with the decreased alanine levels observed in the er-ant1 *** of ER-ANT1 activity also led to a significantly elevated NADH/NAD+ratio that potentially hinders the glycine-to-serine conversion *** supports the hypothesis that the lack of ER-ANT1-induced limitation of ATP usage might inhibit GDC activity by modulating the NADH/NAD+***,non-proteinogenic amino acids,including β-alanine and γ-aminobutyrate(GABA),underwent significant alterations,even under high CO_(2) conditions in the er-ant mutant,implying additional non-photorespiration roles of *** together,our results indicate that ER-localized ER-ANT1 plays a crucial role in amino acid metabolism during photorespiration.

Extensive work have been done to harvest untapped water energy in formats of raindrops,flows,waves,and ***,attaining stable and efficient electricity generation from these low-frequency water kinetic energies at both individual device and large-scale system level remains challenging,partially owing to the difficulty in designing a unit that possesses stable liquid and charge transfer properties,and also can be seamlessly integrated to achieve preferential collective performances without the introduction of tortuous wiring and redundant node connection with external ***,we report the design of water electricity generators featuring the combination of lubricant layer and transistor-like electrode architecture that endows enhanced electrical performances in different working *** a design is scalable in manufacturing and suitable for facile integration,characterized by significant reduction in the numbers of wiring and nodes and elimination of complex interfacing problems,and represents a significant step toward large-scale,real-life applications.
