Bacteria-responsive programmed self-activating antibacterial hydrogel to remodel regeneration microenvironment for infected wound healing

There is still an urgent need to develop hydrogels with intelligent antibacterial ability to achieve on-demand treatment of infected wounds and accelerate wound healing by improving the regeneration microenvironment. We proposed a strategy of hydrogel wound dressing with bacteria-responsive self-activating antibacterial property and multiple nanozyme activities to remodel the regeneration microenvironment in order to significantly promote infected wound healing. Specifically, p H-responsive H2O2self-supplying composite nanozyme（MSCO） and p H/enzyme-sensitive bacteria-responsive triblock micelles encapsulated with lactate oxidase（PPEL） were prepared and encapsulated in hydrogels composed of L-arginine-modified chitosan（CA） and phenylboronic acid-modified oxidized dextran（ODP） to form a cascade bacteria-responsive self-activating antibacterial composite hydrogel platform. The hydrogels respond to multifactorial changes of the bacterial metabolic microenvironment to achieve on-demand antibacterial and biofilm eradication through transformation of bacterial metabolites, and chemodynamic therapy enhanced by nanozyme activity in conjunction with self-driven nitric oxide（NO） release. The composite hydrogel showed 'self-diagnostic' treatment for changes in the wound microenvironment.Through self-activating antibacterial therapy in the infection stage to self-adaptive oxidative stress relief and angiogenesis in the post-infection stage, it promotes wound closure, accelerates wound collagen deposition and angiogenesis, and completely improves the microenvironment of infected wound regeneration, which provides a new method for the design of intelligent wound dressings.

Tebuconazole exposure has been described as an increasing hazard to human health.An increasing number of recent studies have shown a positive association between tebuconazole exposure and cardiovascular disease risk,which is characterized by the reduction of adenosine triphosphate(ATP)synthesis.However,researches on the damage of tebuconazole exposure to energy metabolism and the related molecular mechanisms are limited.In the present study,male C57BL/6 mice were treated with tebuconazole at different low concentrations for 4 weeks.The results indicated that tebuconazole could accumulate in the heart and further induce the decrease of ATP content in the mouse heart.Importantly,tebuconazole induced an obvious shift in substrate utilization of fatty acid and glucose by disrupting their corresponding transporters(GLUT1,GLUT4,CD36,FABP3 and FATP1)expression,and significantly repressed the expression of mitochondrial biogenesis(Gabpa and Tfam)and oxidative phosphorylation(CS,Ndufa4,Sdhb,Cox5a and Atp5b)related genes in a dosedependent manner.Further investigation revealed that these alterations were related to the IRS1/AKT and PPARγ/RXRαpathways.These findings contribute to a better understanding of triazole fungicide-induced cardiovascular disease by revealing the key indicators associated with this phenomenon.

This study investigated the atomic-scale deformation mechanism of multiphase CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloys(HEAs)at liquid helium,liquid nitrogen,and room temperatures.A million-atom multiphase HEA was prepared using molecular dynamics simulation involving melt and quench processes.The HEA exhibited high-density dislocations and some twins,consistent with experimental observations.Quantitative analysis revealed an inconsistent evolution of the microstructure under tensile deformation.In particular,the elastic and initial plastic stages exhibited an increase in the disordered structure at the expense of the face-centered cubic and hexagonal close-packed structures,followed by a subsequent transformation involving multiple structural rearrangements.Furthermore,through sparse identification,a model depicting microstructural evolution during tension was extracted for the CoCrFeNi HEA at three typical temperatures and three tensile rates.The model highlighted the importance of the body-centered cubic structure in the evolutionary process.

YOLO-Drone:A Scale-Aware Detector for Drone Vision

Object detection is an important task in drone vision. Since the number of objects and their scales always vary greatly in the drone-captured video, small object-oriented feature becomes the bottleneck of model performance, and most existing object detectors tend to underperform in drone-vision scenes. To solve these problems, we propose a novel detector named YOLO-Drone. In the proposed detector, the backbone of YOLO is firstly replaced with ConvNeXt, which is the state-of-the-art one to extract more discriminative features. Then, a novel scale-aware attention(SAA) module is designed in detection head to solve the large disparity scale problem. A scale-sensitive loss(SSL) is also introduced to put more emphasis on object scale to enhance the discriminative ability of the proposed detector. Experimental results on the latest VisDrone 2022 test-challenge dataset(detection track) show that our detector can achieve average precision(AP) of 39.43%, which is tied with the previous state-of-the-art, meanwhile,reducing 39.8% of the computational cost.

Background Water deficit is an important problem in agricultural production in arid regions.With the advent of wholly mechanized technology for cotton planting in Xinjiang,it is important to determine which planting mode could achieve high yield,fiber quality and water use efficiency(WUE).This study aimed to explore if chemical topping affected cotton yield,quality and water use in relation to row configuration and plant densities.Results Experiments were carried out in Xinjiang China,in 2020 and 2021 with two topping method,manual topping and chemical topping,two plant densities,low and high,and two row configurations,i.e.,76 cm equal rows and 10+66 cm narrow-wide rows,which were commonly applied in matching harvest machine.Chemical topping increased seed cotton yield,but did not affect cotton fiber quality comparing to traditional manual topping.Under equal row spacing,the WUE in higher density was 62.4%higher than in the lower one.However,under narrow-wide row spacing,the WUE in lower density was 53.3%higher than in higher one(farmers’practice).For machine-harvest cotton in Xinjiang,the optimal row configuration and plant density for chemical topping was narrow-wide rows with 15 plants m-2 or equal rows with 18 plants m-2.Conclusion The plant density recommended in narrow-wide rows was less than farmers’practice and the density in equal rows was moderate with local practice.Our results provide new knowledge on optimizing agronomic managements of machine-harvested cotton for both high yield and water efficient.

iHypoxia:An Integrative Database of Protein Expression Dynamics in Response to Hypoxia in Animals

Mammals have evolved mechanisms to sense hypoxia and induce hypoxic responses.Recently,high-throughput techniques have greatly promoted global studies of protein expression changes during hypoxia and the identification of candidate genes associated with hypoxiaadaptive evolution,which have contributed to the understanding of the complex regulatory networks of hypoxia.In this study,we developed an integrated resource for the expression dynamics of proteins in response to hypoxia(iHypoxia),and this database contains 2589 expression events of 1944 proteins identified by low-throughput experiments(LTEs)and 422,553 quantitative expression events of 33,559 proteins identified by high-throughput experiments from five mammals that exhibit a response to hypoxia.Various experimental details,such as the hypoxic experimental conditions,expression patterns,and sample types,were carefully collected and integrated.Furthermore,8788 candidate genes from diverse species inhabiting low-oxygen environments were also integrated.In addition,we conducted an orthologous search and computationally identified 394,141 proteins that may respond to hypoxia among 48 animals.An enrichment analysis of human proteins identified from LTEs shows that these proteins are enriched in certain drug targets and cancer genes.Annotation of known posttranslational modification(PTM)sites in the proteins identified by LTEs reveals that these proteins undergo extensive PTMs,particularly phosphorylation,ubiquitination,and acetylation.iHypoxia provides a convenient and user-friendly method for users to obtain hypoxia-related information of interest.

本文以2008—2019年深沪两市A股上市企业为样本,实证研究了高管团队(TMT)整体异质性、企业风险承担及企业价值的关系,并基于产权异质性和企业规模视角进行进一步研究。结果显示:TMT整体异质性能够正向影响企业价值,其中年龄、性别、金融背景和海外背景异质性作为主要影响变量;企业风险承担在TMT的年龄、金融背景及海外背景方面的异质性与企业价值间存在中介效应;进一步研究表明,相较于非国有企业,国有企业的TMT异质性对企业价值的影响力度和显著性都较大;国有企业能够显著缓解非国有企业在TMT的教育背景、职能背景、任期三个方面的异质性对企业价值的负向作用。低资产规模企业中TMT异质性对企业价值的影响结果要明显于高资产规模企业。本文首次将TMT异质性、企业风险承担及企业价值纳入一个体系进行研究,且在TMT异质性的衡量指标方面增加了职能背景、海外背景及金融背景三项指标,丰富且深化了高层梯队理论。

Progressive Collapse Resistance of a New Staggered Story Isolated System

A new staggered isolated system developed from the mid-story isolated system is the new staggered story isolated system. There are not many studies on this structure currently. In this study, an 18-story new staggered story isolated system model is established using SAP2000. The dynamic nonlinear dynamic alternate method is used to analyze the structure against progressive collapse. Results show that the structure has good resistance to progressive collapse, and there is no progressive collapse under each working condition. The progressive collapse does not occur for the case of removing only one vertical structural member of the new staggered of isolated system. The side column has big influence on this isolated structures’ progressive collapse;the removal of vertical structural member of the isolation layer has less impact on the structure than the removal of the bottom vertical structural member. After the removing of the member, the internal force of the structure will be redistributed, and the axial force of the adjacent columns will change obviously, showing a trend of “near large and far small”.

深部煤炭地下气化制氢先进能效分析

深部煤炭地下气化制氢不仅可以利用我国丰富的深部煤炭资源,将传统采煤方法难以开采或开采不经济的深部煤层转化为氢气,而且有望成为一种理想的煤基低成本制氢路线。基于位于加拿大天鹅山的世界上唯一千米级深部煤炭地下气化试验数据,结合Aspen Plus过程模拟,以先进[火用]为先进能效指标,对深部煤炭地下气化制氢能量利用情况进行分析。与商业化的Lurgi地面煤气化制氢路线作对比,以产出单位质量氢气的积累[火用]消耗为指标,比较了2种制氢路线的能量消耗水平。结果表明,在氢气生产能力为12亿Nm^(3)/a情形下,深部煤炭地下气化制氢从原料到产品的总[火用]损失为451.79 MW。先进[火用]分析可以有效量化气化过程可以避免的[火用]损失,其中39.9%为不可避免[火用]损失。甲烷重整单元的内部可避免[火用]损E_(dest,k)^(AV,EN)和外部可避免[火用]损E_(dest,k)^(AV,EX)分别为96.63和81.58 MW,具有最大能效提升空间,如能利用转化气、烟道气的热量副产蒸汽,可将其内部可避免[火用]损失减少38.5%。地下气化单元的E_(dest,k)^(AV,EN)和E_(dest,k)^(AV,EX)分别为4.38和62.73 MW,表明降低其[火用]损失的重点应放在提高其他单元的能量效率,从而降低外部可避免[火用]损。其余单元改进空间均比较小可不予考虑。以积累[火用]消耗量为标准衡量能量消耗水平时,产出1 kg氢气,深部煤炭地下气化制氢的积累[火用]消耗为376.1 MJ,仅为Lurgi地面煤气化制氢的83.6%,表明深部煤炭地下气化制氢能够显著降低能量消耗水平。敏感性分析显示,2者积累[火用]消耗的差距随着生产规模的扩大而增加。研究结果可为深部煤炭地下气化制氢的过程优化及技术可行性定量化提供科学依据。
