Synergistic effect of homojunction and Ohmic junctions in CdS boosting spatial charge separation for U(VI)photoreduction

Photo-excited holes usually migrate to the surface of the catalyst and rapidly recombine with electrons,reducing the photocatalytic reduction efficiency of uranium(VI)(U(VI))in radioactive ***,we employed a straightforward synthesis technique to meticulously shape and manipulate the morphology of CdS to precisely construct CdS-Ni dandelion-like composites with different aspect ***,the introduction of crystal facet homojunction with Ohmic contacts in this unique morphology siqnificantly improves the photocatalytic ***-dependent photoluminescence spectroscopy(TD-PL)verifies that the composite material positively effects on the dissociation of *** 30 min,CdS(002)/(102)/Ni-4 removed 98% of the uranium content in solution and showed a rather high apparent rate constant(0.114 min^(−1)),which was 4.8 times higher than that of CdS nanospheres(NSs)(0.024 min^(−1))and 3.7 times higher than that of CdS nanorods(NRs)(0.031 min^(−1)).This is much higher the most reported photocatalysts for U(VI)*** after 5 consecutive cycles,the photocatalytic efficiency only decreased by 7%.This offers a fresh perspective on constructing a new perspective for building a green,efficient,and multi mechanism collaborative catalytic system to remediate environmental pollution.

With unlimited topological modes in mathematics,the fractional orbital angular momentum(FOAM)demonstrates the potential to infinitely increase the channel capacity in acoustic-vortex(AV)***,the accuracy and stability of FOAM recognition are still limited by the nonorthogonality and poor anti-interference of fractional AV *** popular machine learning,widely used in optics based on large datasets of images,does not work in acoustics because of the huge engineering of the 2-dimensional point-by-point ***,we report a strategy of phase-dislocation-mediated high-dimensional fractional AV communication based on pair-FOAM multiplexing,circular sparse sampling,and machine *** unique phase dislocation corresponding to the topological charge provides important physical guidance to recognize FOAMs and reduce sampling points from theory to practice.A straightforward convolutional neural network considering turbulence and misalignment is further constructed to achieve the stable and accurate communication without involving experimental *** experimentally present that the 32-point dual-ring sampling can realize the 10-bit information transmission in a limited topological charge scope from±0.6 to±2.4 with the FOAM resolution of 0.2,which greatly reduce the divergence in AV *** infinitely expanded channel capacity is further verified by the improved FOAM resolution of *** with other milestone works,our strategy reaches 3-fold OAM utilization,4-fold information level,and 5-fold OAM *** of the extra advantages of high dimension,high speed,and low divergence,this technology may shed light on the next-generation AV communication.

To evaluate the effects of dietary supplementation with succinic acid on growth performance, flesh quality, glucose, and lipid metabolism of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fed a high-carbohydrate diet (HCD), five iso-nitrogenous and iso-lipidic diets were prepared as follows: HCD (control group) consisting of 55% corn starch and HCD supplemented with 0.5%, 1.0%, 2.0%, and 4.0% succinic acid, respectively. Tilapia with an initial body weight of 204.90 +/- 1.23 g randomly assigned to 15 tanks with 3 replicates per group and 10 fish per tank fed for 8 weeks. Increasing dietary succinic acid supplementation resulted in significant second-order polynomial relationship in the weight gain rate (WGR), specific growth rate (SGR), feed conversion ratio (FCR), protein efficiency rate (PER), viscerosomatic index, condition factor, and contents of muscular crude lipid and glycogen (P < 0.05). The hepatosomatic index, mesenteric fat index, liver glycogen content and crude lipid contents of the whole-body and liver demonstrated significantly linear and second-order polynomial relationship (P < 0.05). Quadratic curve model analysis based on WGR, SGR, PER, and FCR demonstrated that optimal supplementation with succinic acid in the HCD of Nile tilapia ranged from 1.83% to 2.43%. Fish fed with 1.0% succinic acid had higher muscular hardness, increased the contents of alkali-soluble hydroxyproline in collagen, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid (n-3PUFA) in muscle, and lower total fatty acid content in muscle (P < 0.05) compared with the control group. Compared to the control group, dietary supplementation with 1.0% succinic acid significantly increased the contents of total bounding amino acid (arginine, histidine, isoleucine, lysine, methionine, alanine, proline), total flavor amino acid (free aspartic acid), the catalase (CAT) activity and total antioxidant capacity, and the mRNA relative expression levels of CAT, superoxide dismutase (SOD), and nucl

Objective:The activities and products of carbohydrate metabolism are involved in key processes of ***,its relationship with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is ***:The cancer genome atlas(TCGA)-HCC and ICGC-LIRI-JP datasets were acquired via public *** expressed genes(DEGs)between HCC and control samples in the TCGA-HCC dataset were identified and overlapped with 355 carbohydrate metabolism-related genes(CRGs)to obtain differentially expressed CRGs(DE-CRGs).Then,univariate Cox and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)analyses were applied to identify risk model genes,and HCC samples were divided into high/low-risk groups according to the median risk ***,gene set enrichment analysis(GSEA)was performed on the risk model *** sensitivity of the risk model to immunotherapy and chemotherapy was also ***:A total of 8 risk model genes,namely,G6PD,PFKFB4,ACAT1,ALDH2,ACYP1,OGDHL,ACADS,and TKTL1,were ***,the risk score,cancer status,age,and pathologic T stage were strongly associated with the prognosis of HCC *** the stromal score and immune score had significant negative/positive correlations with the risk score,reflecting the important role of the risk model in immunotherapy ***,the stromal and immune scores had significant negative/positive correlations with risk scores,reflecting the important role of the risk model in immunotherapy ***,we found that high-/low-risk patients were more sensitive to 102 drugs,suggesting that the risk model exhibited sensitivity to chemotherapy *** results of the experiments in HCC tissue samples validated the expression of the risk model ***:Through bioinformatic analysis,we constructed a carbohydrate metabolism-related risk model for HCC,contributing to the prognosis prediction and treatment of HCC patients.

The China Space Station Telescope(CSST)is a two-meter space telescope with multiple back-end *** Fine Guidance Sensor(FGS)is an essential subsystem of the CSST Precision Image Stability System to ensure the required absolute pointing accuracy and line-of-sight *** this study,we construct the Main Guide Star Catalog for *** accomplish this,we utilize the information about the FGS and object information from the Gaia Data Release *** provide an FGS instrument magnitude and exclude variables,binaries,and high proper motion stars from the catalog to ensure uniform FGS guidance ***,we generate a HEALPix index,which provides a hierarchical tessellation of the celestial sphere,and employ the Voronoi algorithm to achieve a homogeneous distribution of stars across the *** distribution ensures adequate coverage and sampling of the *** performance of the CSST guide star catalog was assessed by simulating the field of view of the FGS according to the CSST mock survey strategy *** analysis of the results indicates that this catalog provides adequate coverage and *** catalog's performance meets the FGS requirements,ensuring the functioning of the FGS and its guidance capabilities.

AIM:To assess the efficacy of artificial natural light in preventing incident myopia in primary school-age ***:This is a prospective,randomized control,intervention study.A total of 1840 students from 39 classes in 4 primary schools in Foshan participated in this *** whole randomization method was adopted to include classes as a group according to 1:1 randomized *** in the control group were illuminated by usual light,and classrooms in the intervention group were illuminated by artificial natural *** students received uncorrected visual acuity and best-corrected visual acuity measurement,non-cycloplegic autorefraction,ocular biometric examination,slit lamp and strabismus ***-year follow-up,the students underwent same *** was defined as spherical equivalent refraction≤-0.50 D and uncorrected visual acuity<20/***:There were 894 students in the control group and 946 students in the intervention group with a mean±SD age of 7.50±*** three-year cumulative incidence rate of myopia was 26.4%(207 incident cases among 784 eligible participants at baseline)in the control group and 21.2%(164 incident cases among 774 eligible participants at baseline)in the intervention group[difference of 5.2%(95%CI,3.7%to 10.1%);P=0.035].There was also a significant difference in the three-year change in spherical equivalent refraction for the control group(-0.81 D)compared with the intervention group[-0.63 D;difference of 0.18 D(95%CI,0.08 to 0.28 D);P<0.001].Elongation of axial length was significantly different between in the control group(0.77 mm)and the intervention group[0.72 mm;difference of 0.05 mm(95%CI,0.01 to 0.09 mm);P=0.003].CONCLUSION:Artificial natural light in the classroom of primary schools can result in reducing incidence rate of myopia during a period of three years.

采用八氨基苯基聚倍半硅氧烷(OA-POSS)对Al_(2)O_(3)微球表面进行修饰,再将改性Al_(2)O_(3)均匀分散在以氢化均苯四甲酸二酐(HPMDA)、4,4′-(六氟异丙烯)二酞酸酐(6FDA)、4,4′-二氨基二苯醚(ODA)为单体制备的无色透明聚酰亚胺(CPI)薄膜中。通过傅里叶变换红外光谱仪、紫外-可见分光光度计、导热系数测试仪、热重分析仪等对透明复合薄膜进行表征。结果表明:透明复合薄膜在保持良好机械性能的同时(拉伸强度在92MPa以上),在可见光区仍拥有较高的透光率(透光率超过82%),而且在低Al_(2)O_(3)负载量下,透明复合薄膜的热稳定性、导热性能得到明显改善;制备的透明复合薄膜可作为柔性显示器件的衬底材料以及电子封装材料。

Wide-bandgap(>1.7 eV)perovskites suffer from severe light-induced phase segregation due to high bromine content,causing irreversible damage to devices ***,the strategies of suppressing photoinduced phase segregation and related mechanisms have not been fully ***,we report a new passivation agent 4-aminotetrahydrothiopyran hydrochloride(4-ATpHCl)with multifunctional groups for the interface treatment of a 1.77-eV wide-bandgap perovskite film.4-ATpH^(+)impeded halogen ion migration by anchoring on the perovskite surface,leading to the inhibition of phase segregation and thus the passivation of defects,which is ascribed to the interaction of 4-ATpH^(+)with perovskite and the formation of low-dimensional ***,the champion device achieved an efficiency of 19.32%with an open-circuit voltage(V_(OC))of 1.314 V and a fill factor of 83.32%.Moreover,4-ATpHCl modified device exhibited significant improved stability as compared with control *** target device maintained 80%of its initial efficiency after 519 h of maximum power output(MPP)tracking under 1 sun illumination,however,the control device showed a rapid decrease in efficiency after 267 ***,an efficiency of 27.38%of the champion 4-terminal all-perovskite tandem solar cell was achieved by mechanically stacking this wide-bandgap top subcell with a 1.25-eV low-bandgap perovskite bottom subcell.
